It's Now Or Never

I am so curious about the supernoodle omelette. I actually went and bought more eggs because I wanted to have one tonight, but then I had WI and just wanted to eat quick and unhealthy feeling food - ie SW chips with hea cheese and about 2syns of mayo!! I have 3 packets of supernoodles in my cupboard tho, and they run out of date soon so I am going to try that omelette one of these days!! xx

I assume you cook the supernoodles first, separately, then add them to the egg, or vice versa?

For Laura.

Apologies if these come out a bit big.

Supernoodle omlette 1 - this one I pre-cooked the supernoodles then put into the omlette while it was still cooking. Couldn't really fold this though, too thick lol

This is a normal one (supernoodles and omlette cooked separately, then noodles put into omlette and omlette folded). Just a bunch of salad leaves underneath, works fantastically with spinach soon.

Nom nom nom xx

It does look tasty - I'm def gonna try that this week xx

That looks like proper comfort food! Xx

Thank you both - I do love it, and it is extremely comforting. As Jules said yesterday, I think we need food like that.

Anyhoo, biker time is about to commence. I am out tonight which is rare on a school night. Just got to find a way of eating out on plan. Only had 2 syns today though and have been good so far!

Adios amigos!

Yesterday's food quickly then.

Breakfast:
fruit, prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), low fat yoghurt. Cup of tea with skimmed milk (0.5 syns)

Snack:
Banana and Apple

Lunch:
Half of Tortilla plus loads if salad leaves and about 6 cherry tomatoes

Snack:
Banana

Tea:
(I ate out, no planned venue) - minestrone starter with parmesan (HEa, I think), seafood risotto.

I have no idea what syns the meal would have been, but it was a vague effort on my part to keep it low fat. I walked back to Victoria though, so although it wouldn't have burnt too much of it off, at least I didn't take cab.

Fab night out. Met loads of current and old bikers. Got my pic taken with a couple of the older ones, inc Jamie Haydon whom I've fancied the pants off for years. Chatted to Jamie Witham for a bit too who was lovely. So I'm def a happy chica today.

Homeworking today - sly move on my part as England are shortly going to start their ODI. :)

Pretty much the ones I've listed before at the mo. I've drunk them for years so mostly know what I prefer. Liquorice is one of my faves, ginger, fennel, pu'er, ginger and hibiscus is quite nice - fruitier. May pop into Holland and barrett later and see what else takes my fancy. I like trying the more exotic ones out.

Sounds like you had an awesome night!
Gkad to see you enjoying the 'erbal teas... I love them and find it's a great way to have water - I'm a total coffee fiend, so it's nice to have a different hot drink. Peppermint is great for stomach upsets and ginger for sickness, although I can't say that camomile calms me..!

Glad you had a lovely evening out. Sounds like great fun :)

Hi girls. Yes thanks it was a great evening, and I got my photo taken with Jamie Haydon (squeeeeee!). Nice change to go out mid week too, though I was shattered for the late night. Always feel a touch guilty too for palming off the bairn on my sister. Ah well it won't kill anyone hey?

Yesterday I was good again. Write food diary on paper as couldn't face tapping it all out on my phone. I had 13 syns (or maybe 11 I forget now). Oh and kebab for tea - yummy.

So todays food.

Breakfast:
Mixed fruit, prunes (2 syn), branflakes (HEb), low fat yoghurt. Tea (splash of skimmed milk - part of HEa)

Snack:
Apple

Lunch:
Chicken and ham risotto with onions, peppers and mange tout. (large portion in fact)

Dinner:
More of the risotto, clementine.

Late (i.e. now), 250ml soya milk (rest of HEa), banana (whizzed up with milk - 4 syns).

Total syns: 6
Exercise: only the charging round a load of fields cheering on my son at his cross country comp this morning)
Water: very little :-(

Gonna collapse now as only just come home and can tap my fingers no more.

Woken after a long sleep and a lie in. Feeling quite full of beans so am going to have a spring cleaning day. Did the weeks shop on the way back from London last night, so that little errand is done. Am on call so can't stray far - hence a day if blasting away the cobwebs.

Now a question: had anyone heard of the Zumba Wii game - I feel it may accidentally land in my shopping basket next week.

Spring is nearly here girlies, I intend to be ready for it. Hell, I might even consider tackling the pit I call my garden next week. Can't be going out there at the mo though, too cold.

Have a lovely Sunday. Xx

Someone on here mentioned recently the release date of it (zumba fitness) had been put back til April... Unless it's a different one you are looking at...

That risotto sounds yummy - it's some thing I've never tried but really fancy it. Never remember to look for risotto rice when I'm out shopping tho xx
