It's Now Or Never

He's back, still alive, no limbs missing lol

Did he buy me a pressie no he sodding didn't.

But he wants me to take him again to see some of the exhibs/artefacts that he noticed but didn't get to see properly today. What more could you ask for huh?

Right now he is tidying his bedroom - dream child at the moment. :)

Aww. If/when I have kids I'd love to be as close to them as you are to the bairn, and I am to my Ma! Your food looks good. I seriously have to try the noodle omelette! X

Thanks. I think we have always been close - even when I was pregnant he used to tickle me under my ribs and I'd lie in bed giggling - my husband would laugh at me even then cos he knew it was because the baby was doing that.

I think that since we split up though (which is 5 years now) - it has only ever been just me and the bairn. He doesn't even remember his Dad living with us - and probably doesn't remember his Dad without the current girlfriend thinking about it. But as a result, we are probably closer than most - just because it is just him and me. I am making the most of it though - as he gets older he'll want to (already does) spend more time with his mates. So with that in mind, one of our camping trips this year I've asked one of his little school friends to come with us, so he doesn't have to hang out with his old Mum all the time. I shall let them get on with and take some good books with me. :)

Woop, glad he got back safe and sound Pinkie! Yeah I think you guys seem so close and happy together. You are a great mum!

You won't screw him over - he already sounds like a very level headed child. If it all goes horribly wrong you can blame it on hormones or peer pressure or something!! xx

Lol yeah. :)

Blimey its half twelve and I've just finished working. I've been trying to work through test data results for the past 4 hours to see why we have discrepancies. Lo and behold the sodding tester/programmer ran the wrong poxy file. Arrrggghhh! Is there anything worse than losing all that time because of someone's cock up.

Still, I bought Cleopatra on DVD the other day so have had that epic on in the background. It's still going too lol

I am Saint Pinkie at the moment. Having worked late last night, I spent the night dreaming about test data and this issue I was investigating last night. I woke at 5, gave up trying to sleep at 6 and worked again till 7 when we did our C25K again. It was easier than the other day certainly. Though I def started flagging a little about 15 mins in. But the bairn picked the route today and he found lots of little hills and slopes to take me up and down. Done though so am pleased with myself again. I think 3 times in a row might be a bit much this weekend, but I'll certainly give it a go. Phew. Walking to school now. :)

Yay! Souds like you've really got in to it... and so awesome that your little man can be a part of it, too! xx

What a great way to get him to join in!

That's a great idea! Bet he loves it! Did you use the Runkeeper app? If so hit me up we can be Runkeeper Street Team mates! Xxxxx

Aww, I feel all left out with my crappy non smart phone to be a runkeeper!!!

Well done on getting the second run done, I couldn't believe the difference even on the second time going, hoping the third will be even better!!! xx

Sounds good pinkie! Well done on your walking, sorry about the drizzle- it was rubbish weather today wasn't it?! Ooh I has lasagne too today! Have some left for my luncheon tomorrow too. I love day after lasagne- so flavoursome! Xxxx

Mmm... Chocolate truffle! I used to (before SW!) make them a lot. Great for gifts. Not the hair dye. Although, I bet it's a beautiful colour! X

I think I just used to eat them a lot. Hair is wet, and I don't have a dryer, so I'll see what it looks like in the morning. :)

My lasagne wasn't great to be honest, I didn't leave enough sauce to go over the top layer. I did two together, so I have a whole one (for two) sat in the freezer now, and some left overs for tea tomorrow evening.

This is frustrating, seems I've already seen this episode and they've finished now. :-( Maybe I'll see if the lovely Guy Martin is on catch up yet. Or read a book. Oh the possibilities. :)

Watched Guy Martin. Love him!
