It's now or never

I should clarify that this is Day 2 of Operation SHOOT THAT STONE.

Obviously not day 2 on the diet, since I am now in week 22.

Hmm, no change t all from yesterday. That's not motivational. I shall do better today!

Today has been a busy busy day. So - starting with walking of dogs, (after school run, I guess that should be included), followed by organising some wedding RSVPs, answering questions from guests - very excited there have been replies already but also now scared that it's real and I need to make the final decor decisions - then making some quick cash when a lady came to buy some baby equipment she bought off me on Ebay, and then off to my SILs to start on my new cash generator - learning how she does her day job to see if we can work together. And of course the final school pick up of the day, cooking dinner for the monsters and catching up on the internet.

Which means, no time to cheat.

But also, lots of coffee and no water all day!

So - currently working my way through a pint of the fizzy stuff! :)

Then, on to this evenings jobs of trying to allocate some bedrooms in the venue to see how many spare I have, followed by researching blogs. I am thinking of starting one to get some practise in writing for the public. So - tell me, do any of you read a blog? Or write one? What do you look for in a good, interesting blog and what do you think would make you read one?

Or, do you think people who write a blog are generally a little weird, or self absorbed . . .

Basically, any thoughts on blogging are welcome.

And - I need a title for my blog to be. Any ideas?

Blimey, who knew unemployment would keep me so busy.

I used to write a blog - defunct now - at least for the forseeable, because my job became vileness on toast and i don't have the energy any more. But in its day it had over a thousand unique visitors some days, and was read in loads of different countries. small beer compared to some - but it kept me busy.

anyway, it's still all there at Swelegant Style Shopping if you fancy having a look. probably best to dip into a month at random, because the last few posts are me saying "yes it's been months but i'm back" and then not being.

Yay, 1.5 pounds down, back to my lowest weight to date so anything from here is a new record. Off to Ashbourne today. I have driven through but never stopped to mooch so meeting my mate for some coffee, water, and gossip.
Thank goodness gossip is calorie free!

Just about 1lb off - the scales were wavering in the last ounce. Yay. Lowest weight to date. Operation shoot that stone is underway!

Today I am making a cake for my niece, a big princess toilet toll cover stylee thing, in pink. Yuch. Why do all little girls like pink? however, it will put me off eating anything sweet all day. And that's my downfall, so it's fine by me.

My little girl is having a peppa pig cake surrounded by cupcakes as I need the cake for both parties. She's having preschool guess on Saturday with cold foods and family and all there kids on Sunday with a hot buffet I must be mad, OH has far to big a family.
She had a timmy time cake last year will try and add a pic

Thats a fab cake Mama, well done. People don't realise how long it takes to make all the detail! :)

Well I am shattered - I made the xmas cake earlier this week and the princess today. I will see if I can get a photo on here. My back is killing and I have picked at the buttercream a bit. Oops - still, my OH came home and made a boiled egg and crisp sandwich, so I can't be doing too bad in comparison. Honestly, with that as my support its amazing I am losing at all.

Tomorrow its an early start, driving 90 minutes to my nieces birthday party. How I will deliver this cake there in one piece I do not know!

Now - how do I insert a photo?

oh those are fab. my mum used to do those dolly-in-a-crinoline cakes for us when we were little. weel done, cleverclogs!

Thanks - I didn't realise that those Disney dolls were so tall - it needed a few extra layers. My niece is Princess mad so it was her choice. But I wish these girls would go for a different colour. Last year it was a pink castle, the year before a pink cinderella. Dyes my hands pink for days!

Love then I love penguin cakes my christmas last year was one

It's been a long day - dashing off to M&S to get a princess dress before driving 90 minutes to a princess party, delivered previously mentioned princess cake, and then on to a family shindig.

SO, finally got to update. No change this morning, so I am hoping for something better tomorrow. I have been good - i ignored the party food, declined the cake, and didn't cheat while my whole family were scoffing chilli, jacket potatoes, chocolate cake in custard . . .

(I did get home and eat 2 fish fingers OH left in the grill though :( )

A few glasses of water, no where near my 2 litres. And sunday tomorrow - gah!

Yay 1lb off. I know some people don't like to weigh daily but it definitely helps keep me on track.

Having a lie in as well. My son was up late, probably due to sleeping all the way home yesterday, so ended up in my bed. I got to sleep abut 1am despite his wriggling and kicking. It's like sleeping next to a mini furnace! So hot. Still 9 am wake up. Not bad.

:break_diet::break_diet:Sunday chicken got the better of me and I failed:break_diet::break_diet:

Feeling a bit of a pig today :sigh:

Enough said. Better get back on it now
