I can ditto that a hundred fold!!
Got married when I had just turned 21 and felt that time was running out.. lived to regret it as he turned out to be a violent, selfish and very controlling twit! Used to knock me around something awful and was very violent towards his only son which has had a very disatrous effect on him to this day...okay to his two daughters, but they all witnessed some awful things. Evetually he left me when they were young teenagers. I have never met anyone else and bemoaned that fact for quite a lot of years but much better to be on my own than chance getting into a situation like that again.
Not that I am insinuating that all men are like that but the majority do like to have their own way a lot.

Hope the registering went well.
So sorry to hear you went thru such a horrid time Emmaline.. My Mam's first marriage went quite the same way.. She too rushed into it.. Thought she'd found love n all that.. She said once they were married it was like a switch in his brain.. He just turned.. She left him.. Started hanging around with my aunt n then met my Dad...
Wow! Emm, i'm so sorry to hear that :( I definitely won't be rushing in to anything!

Hazykay, you're too sweet, sending virtual hugs your way :) I hope you're well!

The enrolling went fine, the walk there however did not, my new school shoes have cut/blistered my ankle to somethign chronic, even walking bare-foot hurts, had to get my grandad to pick me up from school it was that bad - couldn't manage the walk home! :( £40 shoes too!

Oh dear.. Don't new shoes just SUCK!! I always plaster up my feet the first time I wear new shoes.. Plasters on my heels, baby toes, and the big bone at my big tow as its sticks out a bit n rubs something awful..

Bathe yer feet in savlon and warm water chic.. Should do the trick :) x

Yep!!!!! Bloody don't know a good thing when they got it. I hate fb an that for men looking at other girls. I never seem to be enough. So they can all do one for a while and be the snidey perves that they are. Ha ha xxx

True men are never happy! The Internet has broken up a lot couples these days, Facebook/twitter/chat rooms! It's all there for them at the touch of a button!!

I did go on a couple of dates with men that I met thro' dating ads which were all the rage before Fb etc. They made it quite plain they wanted somone to "love" yeh..right!! more like just wanted a bit of rumpy... Others that I rang up and spoke to were quite explicit in wanting to know how long they were going to have to wait before they could have sex... .. Cannot personally understand how women can jump in one bed after another ?!! call me old fashioned if you like! .. :D .. seems Fb and the like have a lot to answer for.

I know.. I feel exactly the same.. Morals seems to be a thing of the past!!!
And yes, while the internet is a wonderful things, sometimes I think we were better without it.. Altho I'd miss this site if it was demolished :(

Yeah, I agree! Though, the internet is where I met my ex and we spent three happy years together, plus, it was a cyber-relationship at times as well with the distance and such! Morals and values mean a lot to me though, as well as simple old-fashioned manners, don't get me wrong I don't agree with all of the stereotypical "men should pay on the dates" etc etc, 50/50 sounds about right to me :) but, simple things such as holding a door open for someone and giving up your seat for a pregnant lady/disabled/elderly person mean so much to me.

Fancy a relaxed evening with a little bit of TV in bed before cooking dinner, they're having pie and mash but I fancy roast potatoes so I might cook a mini roast just for myself later :p x Sixth form parents evening at 7 (the same one my Mum's been complaining about how pointless it is for her to go to all day despite the fact I've already said numerous times that i don't mind if she doesn't go!) *sigh* not sure if i'll bother going given the fact i'll be told all of the same info in assembly tomorrow!

Hope you have a good evening whatever you decide to do and the mini roast sounds delish!
Yup the Internet is very worth while just depends how people use it and I like a mixture of old fashion and moving forward as well :0)

Pork steaks and roast potatoes in the oven! Cooking only for me and Mum yet there were 4 pork steaks and I had to defrost them to seperate them so ofc can't refreeze, looks like I'll just have to be a complete pig and have 2, lol! :p

Yum sounds great xx

Indeed it did, first proper day of sixth form tomorrow! Incredibly nervous as I won't know anyone!

30pp, 1414cal, okay, so a tiny bit under but will certainly be made up for tomorrow, Mum's making stuffed mushrooms with cheese + bacon and wild rice, yummy :) Might succumb to the temptations of dessert my Grandad will no doubt bring round tomorrow too!
