Funny you should ask that ... it WAS going okay but DD just text to say her GF has dumped her and she's devastated. She doesn't want to talk about it and has gone back to her flat. She hasn't gone back to our house coz she wants to be on her own but as she's not well at the mo I ain't happy

I think the GF has lousy timing!!

FGS it's one thing after another at the moment xx

Nope I'm stuck here.

I don't know where it's come from and she's said she doesn't want to talk about it though I'm sure that'll change as time goes on. It's the first time i've seen her so besotted and the first time she's ever been the dumpee.
I guess it had to happen at some point but I can't believe the timing. I've just removed the GF as a friend on FB in case I'm tempted to say something when i see her statuses etc.

Oh for gods sake, absolutely sh!t timing there by her. Does the girl have no compassion in her body whatsoever! I mean, if you ARE going to dump someone, then please don't do it at a time like this.

Thoughts with your Daughter, she must be devastated. I would have sent a lovely message on FB then deleted the cow.

Such a shame to hear she has had another episode, really worrying. Has she thought any more about maybe booking in privately to rush things up a little Jan?

She said she'll wait till the app.comes and see how far off it is - I don't think she'll much care now for a few days at least.

I thought her GF was such a nice girl too - mind you I only met her 3 or 4 times and I guess they're always on best behaviour for 'in-laws'. I mean, don't get me wrong. If she didn't want to be with her it's deffo for the best - I just wish she would have timed it better! x

So sorry to hear about the Gf dumping your DD. life is sometimes very unfair. It's doubly hard for her when she's not well.
Can the GP hurry up the appt for you? It seems a bit much to have to wait with all these " episodes " occurring.

The GP is supposed to have hurried them up but she has had the appointments today - the 24hr ecg on 9th December & the echo on 19th!! God help us for emergencies

I'm bracing myself for a huge gain on monday and I'm not even joking! xx

Oh sheesh, such a long wait, hopefully there will be little event in the episodes before the appt date Jan.

I cant see the pics at work either, I will have to look from home.

Hopefully the WI on Monday wont be as bad as you may think Jan, least of your worries at the moment though anyway eh!

Well, it is just a few weeks and at least it will be out of the way by Christmas. Hopefully, she will continue well until then. You wont feel happy until you get a full picture so it's a worry for you.
Foodwise, all you can do is your best. It's the least of your concerns right now.

I started off today okay .... had a mousse for breakie, intending to just have meat and veg for lunch but bunged on some sweet potato and gravy as well .... ah well ... whatever xx
