JanD's Maintenance Diary. Into the 2nd year :o)))

You seem to be getting more into it now Jan.

I find it good, because when working (normally, and not getting tempted to drink Smirnoff), I usually dont use slush points, I save them for my days off.

Hey Jan
I don't think your eating seems too bad, and for being naughty for a while the 2.6lb gain doesn't seem too much of a disaster.
Your grandson made some classic comments there about the dangers and improvements, it all seems so simple from a child's point of view, if only in was as easy as that the world would be a much better place :)
Sorry to hear about your step-daughter's miscarriage, real shame :( x

Thanks Jayne - nice to see you back :)

Yeah - Mary, I seem to be sort of 'slipping' into it don't I? ;) - I'm just a bit concerned with being off now for 2 weeks 49 points aint gonna do it with the alcofrolics ... so I'm not going to say yes I'm doing it but I will count the points and if I can stay within them without feeling deprived I will xx

No Tan, I didnt win those items or others I've bid on subsequently - I'm not prepared to pay through the nose. I HAVE been gathering up points from other people's diaries and working others out myself. The list you sent me is now more than twice as long and I found a list of 'free' fruit and veg as well. If anyone wants any of them let me know xx

Saturday 27th November

At Mum's I had a tiny bit of that bread with a scraping of clover again before going shopping .. I'm guessing at 2pp and rightly or wrongly I am having that as the last 2 points from yesterday's allowance. It's confusing when you haven't been to bed yet to know which day the points belong to!!

However I still hadn't been to bed when I began today's allowance when I got home ... ????!!!! Confusing or what? lol :)

Breakie - 2 weetabix (3pp) skimmed milk (1pp) splenda & blueberries

Bed

Tea - Baked river cobbler (2pp) BNS chips (1pp for fry light) green beans

Wine (18pp)

25pps up to now xx

Edit - 2 slices milk roll toasted (2pp) 1 with philli light & 1 with tzatziki (2pp?) =29pp

Yeah Mary - I'm only off for 1 week but because the next week is my weekend on it works out to 2 weeks till I'm back in - I know you know how that works!

We're away next weekend (weather permitting!) ... long drive down to the New Forest for 2 nights and then across to Exeter to meet Tan :D:D:D:D

I'm planning (and hoping) to get the Christmas prezzie & food shopping sorted and the cards done - but we'll see!! ;) xxx

Aint it nice to have time off and things planned to do. I know you two will have a lovely time meeting up next weekend, just a shame I couldnt make it. Looking forward to all the photos!

Thanks for the list Jan.

Fingers crossed the weather doesn't spoil it for us! xx

Maintaining is deffo THE hardest part!!!

btw - I put '(check)' by the cous cous because I saw that elsewhere people were pointing it at 5pp for half a pack!! Bear in mind a lot of these are unofficially worked out & not from WW themselves though those I've worked out are done on their calculator xx

Shame ya didn't win those items Jan. Good idea to just see how you go for a while :)

As far as I know weather wise they have give it really bad for Tuesday with snow & ice here. Fingers crossed that the weather doesn't prevent you getting here xxx

Hey Jan :D
Found out my training is on saturday and its in exeter.
So i'm free all day sunday so if you let me know what time you want to meet then i'll be there :) xxx

YAY!!! I'll let you know when we're organised. If we meet earlyish - I don't know - 4ish? Then it shouldn't get too late for you driving back if the weather IS bad. Shame you have to go back to Exeter again though - sorry about that xx

Lost 3lbs! :D:D

Monday 29th November

Breakie - 2 weetabix, 1/4pt skimmed milk, splenda & blueberries (4pp)

Lunch - Had to have a sarnie in Tescos as I felt really ill - using the 'divide the calories by 40 for an approximation of the pps' rule it worked out to 7pp

Tea - I had a tub of cottage cheese going out of date so last night I baked a 'quiche' - the 300g tub of cottage cheese (6pp) red onion, mushrooms & 4 eggs (8pp) bunged it in the oven on 180 for about 35 mins (till set basically) I'll probably have about a 3rd of that with veggies (5pp) PLUS 1 for fry light coz we had stir fry in the end

17pps

Prob some v&cs  ... x1 up to now ;) (4pp)

Edit - only had the one - felt too ill :(
Later on I had 2 pieces of milk roll toasted with philli light on 1 & houmus on the other (4pp)

25pps altogether.
