Janes determination to lose 3stone- getting back to plan

thanks girls, my knees a bit better today but im not sure if its the injection working or the strong co-codomal ive started taking:confused:

i had some good news this morning when i stood on the scales id lost 2lb:D:D:D:D:D:D cant understand how i managed that loss but i weighed myself 3 times just to be sure lol i think maybe that my increased exercise from the the previous 2 weeks finally showed on the scales:D but that makes it all the more gutting that i might not be able to continue with my running because of my knee:( but after my 3 weeks of resting it ill definitely be taking up brisk walking.

ohhhhh was going to write my diary but just realised that bb is starting so ill be back later, off to enjoy the final yeahhhhhh x

well my day started off terribly today after i had an almighty arguement with a company over the phone today......see if you can make any sense of this as i still cant after arguing about it for an hour:eek: i had to set up a standing order to pay this company the payment is due on the 22nd of each month but as i have money coming in at the start of each month i set my SO to send the money on the 4th meaning they get it around the 9th of each month so lets just say 12 days early than im due to pay it (hopefully your still wit me lol) this company set me a letter today saying that im in arrears with them as im not supposed to pay it till the 22nd but all the stupid c*w on the phone kept saying was " but your in arrears coz your not allowed to pay it till the 22nd" even though i cant be in arrears as ive already paid it for the month?????? does this make sense or is it just me who doesnt get it:confused:

once i put that all behind me i managed to have a lovely day today, the sun was shining which makes a change from the heavy rain we had been getting the days before so i decided to walk to school to pick up Katie and back again with her even though it made my knee go a bit sore again but i felt better for getting the sun about my face and getting a little exercise under my belt... the first since last tuesday:eek: then my sister came over with my niece and nephew for the afternoon which was fun and cheered me up from my anger fuelled morning lol

Breakfast - 2 weetabix with 1/2 portion of milk (B and 1/2 A)

snack - 1 kiwi

Lunch - nothing except a few slice WF chicken....i know not good at all but was rushing about and then decided it was too late for lunch as i wasnt even hungry

dinner - pasta with tomato sauce (1syn) 28g chorizo (2.5syn)
sw chips (2 syns for oil) and large side salad.

really enjoyed my dinner as i love chorizo and only found out that it wasnt that high in syns so was really looking forward to it and it didnt disappoint :)

ill need to try and get to tesco tomorrow as im running out of fruit and i need to get more ff fromage frais so i cant have my favourite dessert of all time just now.....fresh fruit, ff fromage frais and mini meringues (1 syn each) yummmmmmy.
 
seem to be forgetting to update this :eek: came on to do it yesterday but completely forgot to do it...must be my age lol

well ive had a little problem building up over the last few days and that is that i cant go to the toilet:eek: so im freakin out about weigh in on Tuesday coz i if i dont go then ill be all bloated and 'heavy' and wont get a loss:( so im off to the chemist for a ahem...'remedy'

ive went a bit over my daily syn count this week so far due to some late night munchies so i need to limit myself to 7 syns at day till WI to balance everything out!

so todays plan will be EE:

breakfast - Porridge (B) with 180ml milk (some of A), 1 teaspoon golden syrup (1 syn)

Lunch - nothing yet but most likely have a wholemeal roll with cold meat salad.

dinner - not decided yet, will update later
 
oh dear! oh dear! oh dear! that just about sums up how i feel right now:( i felt so bunged up today with toileting issues lol that i couldnt face eating any dinner earlier but instead ive picked on loads of things and ate 2 packet of crisps and a packet of mintsrals so totally over my syn count for the day :( i really wish id never walked into the shop tonight i only went in for some diet pepsi for a sat night treat ( i try not to drink anything fizzy during the week ) and ended up buying crisps and chocolate doh!!!!!

the good news is though that i have sorted out my toilet problem and feel a lot better phew!!!! so ill just need to hope that tonights food choices wont result in a gain on tuesday....fingers crossed xx
 
im back!!!!!!!!!!

right ive been letting things slip recently and cant afford to let it slip any more :eek: i've a big family party coming up at the end of September and had targeted myself to lose 1 stone...10lb down and 4lb to go and they need to be gone within the next 4 weeks which if i get my finger out is very do-able.

i managed to lose 1lb on tuesday night which is good but i would absolutely love to have a big loss one week...say 3lb.... i would be jumping for joy lol, but my problem is organisation or should i say the lack of...everything i eat is a last minute decision so i need to ,make up a food plan and stick to it religiously for the next few weeks so im going to trawl through the posts here and see if i can inspire myself:)

food diary for today....EE

breakfast - 2 weetabix with milk (B and A choice)

snack - alpen light bar (3 syns)

lunch - chilli with boiled rice (free veg in chilli)

snack - banana

dinner - noodles with loads of free veg, 6 quorn nuggets (3syns), 5 spice and soy sauce

evening snack - raspberries and ff framage frais topped with 4 mini meringues (4 syns)
 
4 more lbs is definitely within your capabilities Jane, good luck! xxx
 
I've enjoyed your diary and its nice to hear I'm not the only one having off days and that it doesnt have to mean giving up. Well done on the weight loss.

well you learn something new everyday.... i only found out today that quorn pieces are a superfree food:cool: i was making up a vegatable roast tonight for part of my diiner and took a look through my book to check on butternut squash and there it was 'quorn pieces' lol dont know how id missed that before but anyways i know it now he he.

i started doing a water challenge yesterday and im targetting myself to drink 2ltrs of water each day and ive achieved it both days so far:) im taking it with SF squash to liven it up a bit but im hoping to see a bigger loss next week so heres hoping.

finding it really hard not to snack on everything going tonight as im feeling really bored which = comfort eating:( so just about to have my evening snack yum yum.

todays food on an EE day:

Breakfast - weetabix and milk (B and 1/2A), banana

Lunch - pkt uncle bens mexican rice (2syns?) with 1/2 pkt mexican fajita chicken (1/2 syn), ff fromage frais, mushrooms

snack - dairylea dunkers (6 syns)

dinner - roasted vegetables (butternut squash, sweet potato, shallots, courgettes, and parsnips) with uncle bens mushroom rice (1syn), side salad and ff fromage frais.

evening snack - raspberries and creme frais topped with 4 mini meringues.

well my mission didnt really work out this week, i had planned to organise my meals for the full week but instead made last minute choices about everything i ate as usual, im still supposed to be resting my knee so no vigorous exercise but was i have been walking to school everyday to pick my daughter up so thats a 30 minute round trip pushing a buggy too. i joined the 'water drinking' challange last week and have been drinking on average 2-3 litres of water every day but again lost 1lb on weigh in this morning :( i know thaat in the long long it all adds up to getting to target but im a bit impatient and would love to be able to lose 2 or 3lb one week soon pleeeeeesssssse????

so i think im going to try green this week as im wondering if im getting my 1/3 superfree right on EE, ive still got a bit of a thing about portion control so maybe ive been eating too much....who knows but ill jump back to green and see if it kick starts my loss again, though im going to feel like im spoiling myself having all my healthy extras again lol.

oh and ive a night out on friday night, my first one in sooooo long so ill need to save up my syns to let me enjoy myself lol.

so the plan for today will hopefully go as follows:

breakfast - 2 weetabix with milk (b and 1/2 a) - ate :)

snack - banana - ate :) also 1/2 pot chocolate desert (2syns)

Lunch - homemade butternut squash, sweet potato and red pepper soup (free) with wholemeal roll (B) and scrape of LF marg (1.5syns) - ate :)

dinner - sw chips made with white and sweet potatos, quorn chicken fillet and roasted veg

evening snack - raspberries with FF fromage frias and 4 mini meringues

things were going really well today until i ate a big mac meal from mcdonalds at 7.30pm tonight:eek: i had to come on and write it down here so i cant hide from it and pretend that it didnt happen coz it did:(

Id started off my day full of good intentions and even made some soup for lunch with was really lovely and totally syn free, id planned my food plan out for the day and knew what i was having for my dinner but id enjoyed my soup that much that i had another bowl around 3pm so by the time it came to have dinner i wasnt hungry and my girls were overnight at their dads tonight so i wasnt making anything for them either so just thought id make something later but then i had to pop out and accidently drove into mcdonalds :(:( in hind sight i shouldn't have taken my purse with me and it wouldnr have happened, i would have came home realised that i was hungry and made something SW friendly as apposed to completly NOT SW friendly:eek:

alright then .....today was a good day on the plan :) im determined to lose more than 1lb on my next weigh in i know that any loss is great and its better than STS but i suppose i just want to quicken my loss up a bit ......says a very impatient person lol. im happy that i decided to go back to green days as i enjoy having the 2 healthy extras B choices, when i was on EE i was sinning for an extra B choice so today ive hardly used any syns at all which will be going towards the mcdonalds i had yesterday..cringe!!!!!

Breakfast - 2 weetabix with milk (A + 1 B)

snack - alpen light bar (3 syns)

Lunch - homemade soup with 4 ryvita (2 B)

dinner - quorn chilli con carne with uncle bens white rice (free or 1 syn - not sure?) and FF fromage frais on top

evening snack - raspberries with FF fromage frais and 3 mini meringues (3 syns)

total syns for the day =7 (ill count the uncle bens as having 1 syn just in case) if anyone actually reads this lol then correct me if im wrong xx
 
OH NO!!!!!!! im losing my grip on the plan, dont know whats wrong with me but i cant stop eating BAD foods, ive probably gone over my syn count for the week already and im not due to weigh in till tuesday:(

threw a bit of a wobbler yesterday but ive drawn a line (see look theres my line ^)underneath it and am back on track as from this morning.

going to settle down shortly to watch ultimate bb:D:D dont know how im going to resist snacking on bad foods which would be the norm for such a fab telly night lol

anyway back to EE today!

Breakfast - 2 weetabix with milk (A & B choice)

snack - shape zero yoghurt

lunch - sweet potato wedges with dip (1 syn) and side salad

dinner - chinese stir fry made with mixed peppers, noodles, 5 spice , soy sauce and 6 quorn nuggets (3 syns)

ok im off to watch BB yipeeeee:D but also sad that its ending toinght:cry::cry::cry:
 
just wanted to say - hi - you're doing well, try not to beat yourself up too much :)

And to help keep you on track a bit more, have your thought about varying your meals a bit more. Excuse me if I'm talking out of turn -

I tend to have fruit maybe for breakfast and save a HEB for during the day?

I must try the soup though - now the colder weather is coming - I'm going to search out some recipes.

your totally right i do need to vary things a bit more, the 2 weeks i lost 3lb then 2lb was because i was eating fruit for breakfast rather than weetabix everyday so i need to start doing that again me thinks:) i moan that i want a big loss each week but in reality i don t do anything to deserve it coz ive not done it 100% for a few weeks now.

i think the novelty wore off a bit and as i never really ate fruit before starting SW once the novelty wore off i more or less stopped eating it:( so i think im going to try success express for a week to see if it gives me a kick start?

that soup was soooo yummy and really easy to make ...... i just chopped up and peeled a butternut squash and 2 sweet potatoes and a red pepper (though not sure i would add it next time but maybe repalce it with some chilli to give it a kick ) put it in the pot and covered it with chicken stock (i used 2 knorr gel pot things - free) then cooked it till soft then blitzed it with the hand blender till smooth and added a swirl of ff fromage frais once in the bowl Mmmmmmmm
 
Hi Jane, good work on drawing the line, as for tv snacks.... get some mikados, they're only 0.5 syn each. 10 of those feels really naughty and only 5 syns worth of damage. xx

well today was supposed to be my first day on SE but i forgot at breakfast time and had my weetabix as usual (although this was at 12 o'clock lol so if id been thinking properly id have been able to have sometime like bacon with loads of tomatoes and mushrooms but i do it tomorrow instead. then because id had such a late start to the day i didnt have anything else to eat until dinner time when i had a quorn chicken fillet with loads of stirfry veg and some noodles so i hope thats SE friendly?? im finding it hard to work out if ive got 2/3 SF and 1/3 free which sounds like im stupid or something but when its all mixed together its harder to tell right?.

i bought a big massive bar of mint aero last night for watching BB and was planning on eating it all because of the way ive been feeling recently but i read the calorific values on it and it worked out 6 syns for 1/5th or 6 small squares so i divided it into 5 sections ate 1 and wrapped the others up individually and froze them so if i cant control myself i can have one each night using 6 syns instead of 30 for the full bar in one sitting!!! and as ive not had any tonight i have instead attempted to make SW forero rocher (SP) and they are currently in the freezer setting.
