TI, week 5 would give you quite a good range of foods as thats the week that introduces more of the starchy veg and of course alcohol :D.

Maybe you will have some bigger losses over the next few weeks so may be further towards your goal than you think ... 2 lb a week is great and I think mine averaged at about that but I understand it is frustrating if you were used to higher losses in foundation ... just a thought, have you tried easing up on the excercise for a week just to see if that has an effect?

Keep your chin up, I know you will :)!

ps great pic's Daisy and glad you are back "in the zone"!

t_i week 1 RTM you could eat out.
i had grilled sardines for a starter and prawn salad as a main in a lovely italian when i was on week 1

you just have to find the right restaurant

you will be fine

Thanks Susianna and Daisy.

Daisy - you have really cheered me up. That sounds lovely and I'd be very happy with those choices. So even in week 1 I will be able to take part in a meal with the family. Great :D.

I am 8.7!!!
reached goal YAY!

feel a bit bad after cheating so may times recently - i should have STS or put on to give me a kick up the backside really ....still might catch up with me next week i suppose!
anyway have decide to put a 'box' round my weight now

lowest 8.4 higest 8.13 - see if i can stick within it!

hubby is out with his mates for his birthday tonight so when littlest is asleep (other 2 at their dads) i am planning on a pamper night, listening to the LL CDs as i never seem to get chance, dig out old LL mags and look at recipes and cookbooks- plan some lovely food for next week and just enjoy my success!!!

Daisy

That's fabulous! Well done you. You do deserve it and pampering is a perfect way to celebrate.

Now, maybe you actually need to be eating more calories than you do in order to STS and maintain. I guess that is partly what RTM is all about. I think you are handling things just fine. xx

Just spotted your post Daisy - CONGRATULATIONS :553::talk017:

Well done Daisy, that is brialliant. I bet you feel so good. I hope you enjoyed your relaxing night in.

Well done Westie, it seems you are doing great in RTM.

TI, I can completely understand where you are coming from. I've had a lot of low losses not including the times that I have lapsed. It is frustrating but we just have to get on with it I think. Good luck on getting into the overweight catergory. I have just 1 more lb too. It's exciting!!!

Well I am finally back on track. After the messing around, low losses and the 2lb gain last week, I have finally had a big loss. I lost 4lb this week. I am so pleased, It has really given me the motivation to carry on.

Not only that, but I only have 2 pairs of size 16 trousers for work and they were both in the wash this morning. I was panicking as I know that I didn't have anything else that fit me yet. So I decided to try some of the 14's to see if I could get away with any of them. I managed to get into a pair (although the material is a bit stretchy!!) But they are a 14. I feel so good today. I'm even looking forward to going to the gym tonight which is the first time in a couple of weeks.

Well done on everyone elses losses and maintenance. We might not win the daily battles but on the whole we are winning the weight war.

Good luck to those still to weigh in x x

Good to hear from you Becky & really pleased with the 4lb loss - it's not a race as we know but frustrating when weight losses stall! Glad you're back on track & a personal milestone with size 14 as well :)

well done becky
now stick to it this week too!
good news on the 14s

Thanks Sean and Daisy, I really appreciate your comments x x

Becky - congrats on getting into the 14s! I wore 14 trousers this week for the first time too!!!! Sooo exciting.

2.2lb off for me this week. About the current average, but so much less than in Foundation. Still, I am making progress and when I hit milestones such as getting into size 14 and also moving below BMI of 30 I feel so much more positive. xx

t_i thats fab!
you are getting there - and its actually healthier to come off slower too
well done
daisy x

T_I - FANTASTIC NEWS - congratulations on the BMI result, I know what a significant milestone that is (and you'll be amazed how soon you drop from being overweight to 'healthy' as well) - well done.

No WI for me as didn't go to meeting so WI at home and thrilled to say still same as 2 weeks ago when I left the LL plan :)

Sean - Brilliant - That's a huge step - flying solo and maintining weight. What an inspiration you are.

I am very much looking forward to getting to a healthy weight, but for now I have an extra bounce in my step for no longer being obese :D.

Well done again TI, you certainly deserve it.

It's great to hear that there are people out there like BL & SB and now you Sean that are happily maintaining. It just proves that it can be done. Congratualtions Sean, great work x x

Oooooh lots of congratulations due ....
Daisy ... getting to goal
TI .... fab BMI result
Becks ... into the 14's
Sean .... maintaining in the "real world"

Well done all, so great that 7 months down the line we are all still focused and acheiving the goals we set ourselves!

So just a quick update from me ... health wise I have been given the all clear by the hospital, they are satisfied it wasn't a fit and I just passed out which happens to most of us from time to time so can drive again! Yay!

I have lost another 2 this week ... but I have to be honest and say that I am not eating as much as I should on RTM as I still want to lose but am sticking to the rules such as the foods I am introducing each week so its working just fine and only 10lb to goal now, wearing size 14 and even getting some 12's on!

The big news is that I have stopped going to class as there was only 2 of us left and the counselling and support has not been great for the past few weeks and also I had enough packs to last me the last 2 weeks on RTM (as I didn't take any to Dubai) and LLC was insisiting I continue to buy packs I didn't need so I still intend to follow the last 2 weeks of RTM and then I go to Turkey for 2 weeks. I know I will still want to lose some more when I come back so will hopefully be able to do that myself without going back on the packs! (I feel quite confident I can ... am intend to go to the gym every morning whilst on hols ... can't quite beleive I'm saying that!)

So onwards and downwards .... hope you all have a great weekend!

x

Woo Hoo susianna - you're RTM losses are even better than mine!!

It's great to know you have the control around food though isn't it, and congratulations on going solo (I know what you mean as I didn't feel I belonged in the groups for the last few weeks of RTM, and skipped a few myself).

Well done on the 2lb, and I'm sure you'll come back from holiday and be pleasantly surprised when you weigh in :)

Well done everyone on continuing success. Everyone seems to be doing so fantastically well :D:D:D

I'm still plodding on - having ups and downs. On week 5 RTM and had a "moment" on Wednesday, where I completely fell off the wagon. It's the first time since I started and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. It was induced by alcohol (allowed on week 5) but I know I'll have to take care with it in future because the eating demons still exist when the inhibitions are reduced.

Consequently my weight jumped up the following day and is slowly coming back down to a level I'm happy with - why does it always go on quicker than it comes off  I'm a bit disappointed that I haven't lost a thing since starting RTM (although it has held steady until my blip on Wednesday), like I didn't lose on Lite. I'm beginning to think I should have stayed on packs a little longer but I know I can't go back to them now - I'd hate to start RTM all over again

Unfortunately I'm now worrying about never being able to conquer my demons because the addictive eating is still with me and I just seem to be obsessed constantly with food :(

Hi there westie
sorry to hear you are struggling, but good you are working against it, it's hard work isn't it!
