Step 1 Sole Source January 2015

Yeah it was really good :) ahh definitely your away to get married so City and spa hens sound perfect! Lol yeah could have been the dancing aswel that worked!
Jo1989 the office can be hard, not sure about your work colleagues but mine are a nightmare, on CD last year they were putting biscuits, slices of cake and sweets Infront of me on my desk to get me to eat, so cruel! But I held out for months to the point they didn't bother offering me anything anymore! So stick to your guns and have your products and it will get easier with time!! Xx

Yeah I managed before. I find the long work lunches on a Friday even harder! The place we all go to does gorgeous food and things like big plates of loaded nachos which I'm totally into so I struggle going to those but don't want to be rude and not go. Also won't be telling my colleagues I'm on this particular plan so they always say 'why don't you have a salad' which I can't either!! Still, its not forever, and I will tell the colleague I go out with every day - I'm lucky she drinks rather than eats so doesn't mind!!
 
Mine is too at work with people bringing christmas unwanted cake an chocs in so i know how ya feeling si bare in mind ill have that too!and your not only 1 we can resist though move them out if view and just ask peole not 2 offer if u make a joke out of it they should understand! :) youll b ok hun xx
 
Oh god loaded nachos! Yeah I know what you mean about not wanting to be rude and not go, I never tell my mates either so it's sort of making excuses for a while til u move up the steps and can introduce food, will all be worth it I'm the end!

I know what you mean. People who know nothing about the diet are so judgemental. I've been asked so many times 'isn't that type of diet dangerous' and 'why don't you just eat less'.

I work with only men in a marina yard and it's constantly full of cakes, biscuits and several 'fatwagon' bakery van visits a day............it's hell lol. Hopefully they will just leave me in peace once they know what I'm doing x
 
Yeah any tough or sticky situations, come and log it on here so you get all the support! I hope no one brings any Xmas leftovers in lol
 
Wow allneedles your cardigan looks great! I can imagine that's a really good way to keep busy and take your mind off everything
 
YES! We'll come and comment here whenever we're tempted and feel saintly when we resist. That food will still be there when we're off plan- thats my mantra!!

People are ridiculously judgmental - as if being overweight is better than taking action. And if we could just eat less we wouldn't be here!

How many weeks do you ladies hope will take you to goal?
 
Ok day 4: well not a lot to say different really ?! Had my egg lol felt alot less fuzzy headed today and could withstand normal conversations lol. Nearly made myself ill on apple porridge as i made it way to thick it went lumpy :/ so put me off now. Choc orange shake o ye baby love these me nan had a taste then asked me what i was having for dinner i said just the shake! Her reply was just "oh! Thats it?? "Bless. She enjoyed the taste tho 2 haha .. had a mint shake for tea and you guessed it 2 eggs ahhahaha golly im never gonna wanna eat an egg again after this pmsl. But had more energy today. Still emotional though and again had 2 have gavisvon :/ not sure y as im getting through sooo much vwater maybe this is y! .. but day 4 done roll on 5! Cpuld of caved so easy at any point on this diet literally butttt still got will power really have admiration for people on this diet! Good luck 2 all starting tomorrow xx
 
I agree people really are small minded who dont need to or have never had 2 lose weight they just think its so easy and it isn't! I hope 1 day they need 2 lose weight amd realise how hard it is :/

Ha love how much the eggs work for you! You're doing so well, and you'll start to feel better tomorrow, I'm sure of it. You're over half way to weigh in 1!

How many weeks do you ladies hope will take you to goal?

First day today and been 100%. Had a porridge, choc mint shake and a soup with a bit of chilli in it which was surprisingly good. Lots of water too. I've got about 3 stone to lose so hoping 10-12 weeks. Want to start exercising but consultant said to wait a week or so until body settles down. Sit-ups and press-ups and walking for now. How about you? x
 
I hope 7 to 8 weeks butttt i know itll be loads more im just b wishful thinking lol how about u x

Omg exactly my mum says that all the time, just eat less, just eat salads, do you not think iv tried everything! I know how rest of my family and my mates would feel, even the close ones I love to bits, I think at first it was a bit like I don't want to tell the world encase I fail, but I kept it to myself and succeeded and as far as the girls knew, I was just being healthy and that's that. I'm hoping to loose 11lbs this month, I go on a 2 week hols on 2nd Feb (5 days of it all inclusive) and I am going to TRY and be good so, will be interesting, will let you all know how that goes! Hoping to be overall at maintenance by March! How about u??
 
Erm well I think 4 more weeks to get to BMI 25 but then a further 6 weeks on the steps so I guess a total of 10 weeks. Seems long but I'm 10% through!

Love that plan - like a reverse confessional, what we resisted each day. I'll be glad when tomorrow is done and I can stop being nervous about work.

Paigesmum: On Step 1 you can do 12 weeks and then you have to have a week of add a meal then go back to 12 more weeks.
 
Yeah I think it's something like that, once you are at a healthy bmi you move up, coz I remember last time I mentally prepared myself for sole source for a month or even longer and after 2 weeks my consultant moved me up to step 2, was a nice surprise! I guess it works on a pn individual basis and how much you need to loose etc.
Roughly 8-10 weeks for most it sounds, feels long but, 8-10 weeks out of our wholllleeee lives is nothing really! :) trying to be positive :)
