Step 1 Sole Source January 2015

Ok ive seen the blobs there so big lol.. and 2 or 3 pound a week is still reallly good like u say its in the right direction i cant wait 4 weigh in now just need 2 see that bit of difference! Xx

On sole source I loose like 2lbs or 3lbs a week, as I started to move up it was like 1 or 2lbs a week, which doesn't sound much but it's I'm the right direction, plus not sure if your consultant has one of them fake fat blobs, 1lb of fat looks and feels so much bigger than it sounds!! So never mock or feel disappointed at a 1lb loss :) also as I don't have tons tons of weight to loose I know I'm never gona get the huge losses a week everyone else does. Also I never chose my steps or anything like that, I just took instructions from my consultant as to what stage she thought I should be on :) stages 4/5 and 6 is near enough goal and introducing near enough all food and if you keep a rough diary and you get to see, if you pretty much stay the same every week, that's the weight you should naturAlly be and what your body is happy being, if you start to put on weight you need to see what foods affect it and maybe not have them as much (example potatoes) and if your still loosing weight then she may advise to up your calories slightly. Whatever works for you individually :) xx

I'd def be happy with losses like that on the steps. Also great to use the steps to gauge the right amount of cals for your body. Good to hear what you lost on the steps as there are barely any accounts like that on here. Remind me what your original start weight was?

Skellybob - well done for getting into ketosis. Fingers crossed it'll be a lot easier now. Not long til your weigh in! I'm worried about nights too - last night I was up 4 times. No idea how I'll cope with that the rest of the week!

Miss_greedy - I used to do that too. Though always pick a really expensive shop to make it more exciting (and guarantee I never accidentally bought anything!). Ginabeany - Near the end of my CD journey last time I did buy lots of target clothes too. Unfortunately I've not go to wear some of them yet as they're too small. So in a few weeks I'll dig then out to see what I've got to motivate me!

Completely agree Miss Ama. I only drink banana tetras. Three times a day! I know the monotony would annoy some people but I know I like them and it disengages my brain from food completely.

I've loaded my fridge with 4 litres of water. Getting nervous now!

Craftylittlerat - good luck at your gym induction. I'll be here at least 5/6months as I've a looooonnnggg way to go!

U guys have all been so busy. Last time I was on here it's was on page 3 or 4. I'm seeing page 46. Congratulations to those who have started and seeing ketosis and lose already. I'm starting tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it and can't weight to see results.

I think someone else was starting starting tomorrow.... who was that...? Sorry I can't remember.

I'm going to bed early today and have my bottle of water by my side. Drinking my last full fat coke now....I love the stuff.

Better to be on your period in the week you'll get the biggest loss though! Rather than later on, when the water retention could net off any loss. You seem like you're feeling positive!
 
Jo1989 no probs! Sorry to bore everyone, just trying to give as much info as I can just from my one experience :)
i started at 10st 2lbs which for my 5ft1 frame is quite overweight, bmi I should be between 6st 14lbs (which I think is ridiculous) and 9st 7lbs so my aim is roughly 8st7 and my consultant says if when I get to maintenance I have a gauge like, never allow myself to go above 9 stone so, it's good when you get to your goal to have like an upper limit so it allows you at maintenance to put on or loose a pound here and there but roughly stay the same, for life :)
i have also read somewhere that people who have reached their goal and are on maintenance, the most successful ones of keeping the weight off are the ones that still have at least one CD product a day, say a shake at breakfast or lunch, or even the ready meals as an easy option if your in a rush one night, so it's good to keep stocked if you can after just to rein in calories if you ever need to x

Not bored, its interesting to hear about everyone else's experiences!

Good idea having a limit. Also good idea having the products as its so much easier to stop at one shake than it is to have 2 slices of toast instead of 4 slices. Does that make sense?? Think I'll be keeping low cal ready meals in the freezer for emergencies.
 
Yeah that's true actually! Even if my first weigh in isn't brilliant, hopefully next weeks will be when I'm all finished! I think I just want it so bad, for me and everyone else on here so I'm trying to be as positive as can be! As in the summer wearing all these nice clothes feeling slim and nice, there's just no better feeling. Same as you though I just want to be good at maintenance as I don't want to be here again struggling to loose another stone or so, so I guess that's the only thing I'm nervous for! My consultant says soooo many people get to their goal, go off to manage it themself, then a year down the line she sees them back with even more weight to loose! So it's why she suggests monthly weigh ins to keep on track with maintenance so, I hope to do that! And if you feel it's good for you, might be worth a go this time round!

I mean say in maintenance your fave or preferred breakfast is eggs on brown toast, or even just brown toast and low calorie spread, if your still hungry, I guess that's when a shake could come in handy, something along them lines I'm guessing! I never got to it so I have all these ideas, I hope they work! X

Yeah I'm a major planner so have tons of plans, just want to be able to carry them out this time! Feeling super positive tonight. I hope we start the steps at a similar time so we can keep each other company.
 
Definitely I love plans, lists, anything to make me feel I'm in control and on top of things! Yeah same I feel really good about it so fingers crossed! I know it's funny we are completely different heights but have near enough the same ish weight to lose so, our steps should be quite similar to help each other along!

you guys like to talk long after I go to bed, lots of pages to catch up on again!

well today is D-Day, or rather C-Day :). Have had some eggs for breakfast but thats it now u til after I have been weighed and hopefully will be allowed to go straight onto the shakes.

Not too happy with the massive Hotel Chocolat advert that keeps popping up on the top of this page!! Is that seriously appropriate advertising for this site?!?

I feel for you! Not being able to go to the loo as and when you need must be a nightmare on this diet! I know I will have to go in search of a TA to cover whilst I pop out at least once tomorrow!
 
Morning! What time is your weigh in allneedles? You must be excited!

I had an awful night sleep due to drinking my water up to way too late and needing a wee every half hr til about 3! Still, hopefully that means I'll be tired tonight after my first day back and sleep easier.

Hope all you ladies have a great day today. Think its either day 1 or day 5 for most of you - day 1 isn't too bad and day 5 is always a relief after 3/4 so should be a good one!
