Jenni's diary: Given up chocolate!

Fab Dress, congrats on being supa good. WI sounds very promising monday. Good that your sister can join you.
Have a great day x

OK, small choc binge there. :p

Praline Ritter Sports - absolutely gorgeous, though I've gone about 15 points over

Still. Won't eat anything else now, and I'll be on the exercise bike again later so hopefully won't do too much damage :)

Always seemed to be when I've had a binge that I lose weight  so we shall see!

xx

That's a dangerous belief to have!

I don't think I own anything green....must check out my wardrobe. x

OK, so, still 10st 2. Small disaster avoided. ;)

My dress arrived! :D
Also, the one I bought off ebay did too, so I'm excited today :p

Doing the humber bridge cross today, hoping for 2 crosses as opposed to my normal one :p

Then I'm out boozing later! Fancy dress and I'm going as Cecilia (Keira Knightley) in Atonement - just because I have the pretty green dress :p

xx

love the shoes, they're absolutely gorgeous.. right height for your legs to properly show off your dress too xxx

Change of plan now, I'm wearing red shoes with it :D

Shall update properly later, I'm at Jon's at the moment :)

xx

Well, its a ladies prerogative to change her mind as often as she likes ;)

You look great in your dress and your WI at 10 2 is fab - well done.

Hope you managed your humber bridge crossing in one piece. x

OK, so I've been pretty bad for a few days
But I shall be good for the rest of today and then restart (restart restart...) tomorrow :)

It was all going so well

xx

Thanks :)

Had a fairly emotional conversation with Jon last night. We were talking about OCD and he just didn't understand it at all, for a start he thought that you get some sort of relief from doing your compulsions.
Can't blame him for not understanding, obviously he doesn't know much other than what I've told him about it.

It's just a bit 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' with OCD, just that it's worse if you don't.
I'm a VERY logical person most of the time, which is why it's so frustrating, because it makes NO sense - why do I have to walk symmetrically, set the table perfectly, have my pencils facing the same direction etc?
It might be part of the reason I don't have obsessions like most people with OCD - simply because I have enough reason in me to know that the world isn't going to come to an end just because one of the spoons is upside down

But then it's just annoying that it has to be done even though there's no reason for it! It just makes me feel so stupid because it's so illogical. Argh.

So anyway, I have therapy tomorrow. Going for a run with my therapist :) could be interesting, haha.

xx

A run with your therapist sounds brill - as long as you are not running so hard you can't talk!!!

It must be tough trying to explain OCD to a lad of 18 - I don't really understand it and I have a lot more experience of life! Don't be too hard on him - although I know you won't be.

It must be frustrating to have something that you know is illogical yet can't seem to stop doing it. Well, lets hope the therapy really helps.

Restart tomorrow then????? xx

Haha, yes. :) I promise I'll be good ;)

I do know it's a very difficult disorder to explain - in simple terms I can't control my thoughts/actions which is incredibly difficult to get your head around if you don't have OCD yourself.

xx

Hi Jenny,

Have u ever seen Matchstick Men... it's a somewhat sensantionalised film about a man with OCD, also a con artist but I think it's amazing. try watching it with OH...u never now, it may help a little. x

Thanks Lou :) I'll have a look.
Love your hair by the way, accident with fire or not, it suits you :p

OK, so. Was pretty bad over the weekend, always am TOTM - seem to remember I fell off the wagon at the point when it was TOTM every other week

But I am now back on track - wasn't too bad on Thursday, and stuck to my points yesterday so I'm hopeful for the next 3 weeks at least ;)

xx

OK, so, I've had a really munchy day, however I've managed to squash it with sugar free jelly, diet coke and WW ice cream ;)

And now I have 6.5 points left and nothing to do with them!

Biggest competition of the year with cadets tomorrow. 3 hours until I go to bed and I haven't ironed my skirts or polished my shoes yet  I'm such a last minute person!

Any ideas on what to eat? I had a meal at about 4, so not really hungry yet but will be in an hour or 2!

xx

Hey Jenny Im the same I havent a clue myself what to have for dinner.. I must say I really like your munchy squashing tips.. hmmmmmmm
