Jenni's diary: Given up chocolate!

Wooooo I have an exciting invite :D

One of my friends who used to be a cadet at my squadron has invited me to the RAF Wittering Officers' Summer Ball :D All very exciting, I'm going dress shopping tomorrow :)

It's my race on Sunday! :) Shall update on Sunday evening, I'm off to Scotland with Jon's family on Monday so will be a quick one. It's all going on these few weeks! :)

Just trying to fill up the time before results day ;) 6 weeks and 2 days :eek:
Honestly can't tell whether I've got into Imperial or not, but we shall see. UCAS updates at 7am on results day so I'll be screaming from the rooftops if I got in ;)

Sadly Chrome won't let me onto the dress shop's website because it has nasty stuff on it :eek: hosting malware and the like.

Shall take a photo of me in it when I decide which one to get :D

Also I'll make sure I take pictures on the night with my hair done and all :D

I love a posh "do" - going to one on the 25th July - not been in my posh sparkly frock in years - couldn't be in it for years to be honest, but can this time!!! Hurrah.

I'm not 11.11 - I'm about 10.11 at the moment, I was wearing control pants too :D
The dress is a 12, which is pretty sad :( but I'll get there, one day I will, promise :)

Back from my race! :D
Did it in 1:20 hours, not bad considering my epic lack of practise :p

Absolutely knackered now though, everywhere aches and I have some lovely red sunburn on my face/neck/shoulders. Was very warm, though with some nice breezes occasionally so wasn't too bad.

Pretty disappointed with the lack of water at the water stations though. You'd think, since they KNOW how many people are taking part, that they'd put enough water out, but no, I only got a bottle of sports drink at the 5k mark :mad:

Ah well, finished it in one piece in a good time. Donations welcome :D

Oh yeah - Scotland tomorrow. Hah, almost forgot.

Looking forward to it, Jon sent me some photos of the cottage though can't be bothered to upload them so you can see them when I get back - tough! :p

I'm fervently hoping I'm in the quiet coach from Newcastle - Dumfries otherwise I think I'll actually go insane. Was in the quiet coaches today/yesterday and they're sooo much nicer. No screaming kids and they're generally pretty empty. Win win situation :)

Got a couple of trashy magazines and a free copy of Jordan's novel (Oh dear :rolleyes:) so I should be fine :)

I'm sat in a lovely little restaurant, just had lunch and having a coffee now. Still in Scotland, though I'm back tomorrow so I'll update properly then.
Think I've lost a bit of weight, been walking every day and not eating chocolate. My jeans are definitely looser! I'll let you know how it's going on Sunday morning - I'm hoping to be roughly 10st 10, I hit the 11st barrier before I came away :eek: so I'm definitely not going to let myself gain any more.

3 weeks and 6 days until results day... I've been having dreams/nightmares about it for weeks now!

Haha, I can't wait to be 11 stone :) Good luck with your results, though I have a feeling you don't need it! I find a don't really put on weight on holiday either, too active.. I came back from 2 weeks in Turkey a few lb lighter.
 
Hi hon. Walking certainly is good exercise so you might well have knocked some off. Good luck for wi and glad you're enjoying yourself x
 
Well, I've lost 1lb :D was nice to see a 10 on the scales, even if it was 10.13 :p

Still catching up on everything! Haven't been away for more than a week in ages!

Also preparing for the ball on Friday - sorted out my hair comb, sewn some crystals onto it now and it's all sparkly :D
Decided I'm going to colour my hair with henna this week, going to use some Lush henna (Caca Marron) so I'll upload pics when I've done it. Apparently henna leaves your hair in lovely condition so I'll see how it works out! Hopefully won't be a horrible colour, haha.

Well, the henna didn't do much to my hair, but it does have a lovely reddish tint to it in the light. I quite like it, but I'm going to redo it and leave it in for longer after I go to Center Parcs this week.

The ball was fabulous :D all sorts of random stuff (there were dodgems!) not just your average sit down dinner and disco :p

Knackered now, and rather hung over (free bar!) so I'll update after I get back from Center Parcs, Jon's staying over now until we go so won't get much of a chance to write :)

Diet wise, well, I ate 3 meals last night! I'll see how terrible it is when I get back from holiday.
