I am stressing out big time!! just realise that my MOT expired in Feb! Only realised because I need new tax...by Wed! I am so stressed! One of my headlights isnt working and the spare tyre in the boot is totally deflated! I can handle a new headlight, thats a few quid but not so sure about tyre! My friend is picking my up at 8 so I can get car into garage ASAP so hopefully it will be ready by 5! Its all mental! I feel sick! Do you need the spare to be in full working condition?

a new tyre will only cost you about £30? you can hand it in at garage and say that you know a few things need doing, so can they just let you know how much and then just fix it, rather than failing you on MOT and charging you to put it through again x

You do need your tyre to be legal, can you get it pumped up?? It can fail if the tread is a bit bare

If it fails, most places will retest it free if you take it back to them, or have them do the work. Id tell them when you take it in that you know the tyre is gubbed and ask them to replace it

ah can you, will they just fix it all up? Dont need to take it back, get a tyre then put it back! Not sure if you can get away with no tax for a few days! Knowing my luck I would be caught!

Its totally deflated! Havent looked at it for ages! Its hidden under a mound of junk in the back tho so thought they might not look at it!

They have to The MOT is a hell of a lot stricter than it used to be now, a lot of it is done electronically to try and beat the back street places that would pass any pile of junk.

so spare is defo checked! Best clear out some of the junk from the back! at least make sure theyre in a good mood! Complete nightmare! Is the tax stuff on a computer or is it a case of a police or traffic warden walking past my car and seeing its out of date?

You might be lucky if you only go to school and home. Make sure you park off road at school and keep it in the car park at home!! If you get your MOT tomorrow youre ok though x

Cant find it It was a postcard thing from the DVLA about road tax, I didnt read it but mum got one last week and mentioned the 5 day thing. Bugger, if she didnt have Ciara staying over tonight Id have phoned her

I am going to go to bed and NOT worry about it! Getting picked up at 8 tomorrow so will have to have car in garage before then! aahh not good in the morning and will have to be up at about 7!
Sleep tight everyone, watch out for the bed bugs, if they bite, squeeze them tight and they wont bite another night!
