Haha, thats why I gave up wine & went onto vodka & slimlines.....horrible hangovers with wine, but not too bad with voddies lol! Its taken me 20 years to realise that tho! x

No syns today, used 2 x HEA and 2 x HEB.

Was meant to go out tonight for dinner with friends but due to the weekend and my antics I decided not to. Need to get back on it 1000%.

Gym today-definitely did not push myself as hard as usual. Granted it was busy but I could have done more.

2.2km on treadmill
2.8km on reclined bike
Weights-All leg weights were 20kg. Arm and chest were 10kg or 15kg.

Inner thighs, Outer thighs, Top of thighs and leg press.

Chest press and bicep curl
God, typing that out really is pathetic lol! Will try harder tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be interesting food wise as the electric is being turned off at 9am until after 7pm...rage!

I am but weak and had shreddies and a banana but I changed it up in that I had skimmed milk-baby steps lol! In saying that my other 2 meals are dif to usual!

Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages x 2 (4 syns) and spag hoops!

Cod fillet with veg and spag hoops (I'm addicted to those wee tins yum yum yum)

Snack
Apple x 2
Handful of carrot sticks.

This shows the importance of planning-I didn't realise the sausages were 2 syns until tea time :( Gutted. Normally it wouldn't be an issue but since I've already spent so many of this weeks syns it is.

After gym went on a walk around the shore again with a friend!

All in all a good day though I am REALLY annoyed that I didn't look in to the sausage issue earlier.

Wow Jenna you're doing so well at the gym, keep it up! I've got so lazy about the gym during the week, it's so dark out in the evenings I find it hard to get the motivation to go!
 
On the days I'm working I always make sure to take my gym kit in the car with me to work so that I can go on the way home as I know that once I got in the house in to the warmth I wouldn't go back out again.

EE day

Today's menu so far...

Breakfast
Cheese on 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HEA and HEB) *SMUG* that I avoided my shreddies...I miss them :(

Lunch
Fruit salad-Apples x 2, banana and 1/3 of a pineapple. I always tend to be less hungry after the gym and the idea of cooking something wasn't appealing!

Snack
Handful of carrot sticks.

Dinner
I'm going to go with a chicken stir fry with loads of sf veg-courgette, onion, mushroom and pepper. Also some sweetcorn <3 I actually LOVE sweetcorn.


Gym today
Cardio

15 mins on cross trainer-half a km on level 5, half a km on level 4.
10 mins on treadmill alternating between running fast (as fast as I can...which by anyone else's standards is probably a jog)
5 mins on that arm spinny machine (I swear I hate it ...boring!)
2km on the reclined bike, my knee keeps clicking on it, I would like to cycle more as 2km really doesn't take very long to cycle but my knee gets sore.

Weights
Leg press-40kg
Inner thigh-20kg
Outer thigh-20kg

Arm weight thing...idk the name of it, I had to push some bar above my head -17.5kg

Going to give the gym a rest tomorrow and do my walk around the shore again, will maybe listen to couch to 5k as I go!

Soooo unbelievably bored so going to take the liberty of planning tomorrows food and exercise now. Lets hope I stick to it otherwise this is all pretty pointless.

It is SO damn hard to fit in your superfree on a green day because of all the HE's. Does anyone else find this? It makes me feel like I should be having veg instead of the sausages?

Exercise
Giving the gym a miss tomorrow I think.
Hoping the weather stays dry so I can go for a 3 mile walk round the shore.Will hopefully fit in a few jogs/sprints along the way.

Went for my walk-from what I've read online it appears to be 3.1miles with some massive hills along the way (not my favourite). Next time I walk I'll be sure to download map my run to get an accurate reading.

Managed to complete it in 50 minutes today which is nothing outstanding but I really wasn't feeling it and would have much rather been in bed as I'd a wick nights sleep and it's coooold! Glad I did it though, any exercise is better than none, right?
 
If you like walking Jenna, try Powerwalking....its a great way to keep fit & is great for toning the quads & glutes x
 
I'm hoping that the gym will eventually get me in to running, Kim. I only really have the luxury of going walking this week as I'm off work and don't fancy it when I get home and it's dark. I did try to walk at speed for bits today but wasn't sure what 'speed' you should be walking at to class as a power walk...I know that sounds RIDICULOUS and a major cop out! I'm such a fitness dunce haha!

Chilli and rice. SF includes mushroom, chilli, peppers, onion and tomatoes. Might throw in a few more to bulk it out.

Will be heading to the gym as well so shall update what I get up to in my ever so knowledgeable technically correct manner ahahaha as if!
 
Afternoon! Ok so today is officially party day in my house, I woke up to (no joke) 22 toffee and 22 chocolate apples, 2 cakes, pavlova, lasagne, banoffee, buns, curry and she's still making more. You won't persuade me, I'm LOSING this weight :D

Have just had lunch and thanks to mum's crazy party shopping there were some strawberries in the fridge so I got to add some of them too :D

Really enjoyed the gym this morning (though I do think cardio was invented to destroy my life)

Cardio
a) 10mins 33 seconds on bike-Level 3- 5km
b) 2km on running machine (forgot to look at time) average speed was 7.5km/h and average gradient was 1. Pathetic with the gradient but I tend to get shin splints if I run with it too high. I pushed it up in between runs but overall that's what the average came out as.
c) 1000m on rower, just over 5 mins (again forgot to note the exact time)
d) Stepper-20 floors, level 4 for the first 15 and stepped it up to level 6 for the last 5. Completed in 6 mins. Need to start pushing the levels up on this one.

Weights
It would appear that my left arm is completely useless...it can do NOTHING.
Focussed on arms today.
a)Did some free weights, front and side raises as well as bicep curls. Used 5kg for the first couple then changed to 4kg because I was pretty sure my shoulder was going to pop off. Enjoyed them and I'm not going to lie...was totally pretending I was some world class bodybuilder in front of the mirror...a world class body builder with a useless left arm and a maximum strength of 5kg but anyway.
b)Lateral rower-20kg, 30 reps altogether for both arms.Then brought it down to 15kg and did 15 reps for that useless left limb.
c)Shoulder press-20kg-30 reps.
d) Chest press-20kg-30 reps.

Ok it would appear I didn't do as much as I thought but I'm just out of Tesco and have bought myself a notebook to take to the gym and record what I do each time so that I can see my progress (when I make some) clearly.

Incase you can't tell, I'm feeling VERY positive today...it might be a more difficult affair to feel this way when the mother starts setting the food out at the party hehe!

Yikes! Thats a lotta naughty food! Has your Mum made anything for you? Is there alcohol involved in this party, cos if there is it will be hard to not have the munchies later on.....I'd emigrate if I were you lol!
 
I have my own chilli in the freezer (made a big batch ages ago and as yet haven't managed to eat it) so I'm going to have that, some rice and salad which she'll put out. There will be alcohol but it'll be my dad and his mate having a couple of beers and that'll probably be the height of it so no need to worry about resisting that pheeeew!
She also has a whole pile of strawberries and pineapple so I can dip in and out of that too.
 
Well, it would appear I have absolutely no willpower whatsoever. Completely disgusted with myself even though I KNEW at the time that I shouldn't be eating what I was.

Managed to avoid all the desserts last night but unfortunately the lure of mini quiche and chicken strips was too much for me. Completely ashamed and KNOW that tomorrow I will be seeing a big fat gain.

I just don't know what's wrong with me at the minute? I do so well for a few days at a time and yesterday morning I was feeling beyond motivated to avoid all temptation and be super good as I want rid of this weight yet as soon as it's set infront of me I cave.
100%back on it today but I'm just so annoyed as tomorrow is weigh in and it will be a deserved gain.

Anyways, onwards and hopefully on track.

Try not to fret Jenna, but I think it must be some sort of syndrome the nearer to target we get! But dont forget, SW is a change in your lifestyle with food & you're in it for the long haul! We will spend the rest of our lives tempted by food & if you think about it in the long scheme of things, which is what SW is all about, its 1 bad day out 7 or 1 bad out of 31 or 1 bad day out of 365 days......a dripping tap will fill that bucket! x
 
Thanks Kim! I know that in the long term I am committed to it, it's just so frustrating when you spend days working so hard in the hope of a loss and then eff it up in half an hour!
What's worse...I spent all day building myself up to avoid the goodies and was really confident I could do it, and then gave in. I actually think that's what's annoying me most. If I had have just accepted it would be a flexisyn day I don't imagine I would feel so annoyed but because I told myself I'd be an angel and then was the exact opposite it's more frustrating.
Really appreciate the support though :)
 
I know Jenna, there is nothing worse than being disappointed in yourself, but hey s*** happens girlfriend lol! So what if it takes you that extra week to get to target....does it matter in the grand scheme of things! Keep reminding yourself you have lost nearly 30% of your body weight.......30%! Huge! Huge!......as Julia Roberts says in Pretty Woman haha!!
 
OMG I am SO happy, I managed to STS this week. Never before have I been pleased about this (that I can remember), this week I'm ecstatic.

8st 13lbs. I WILL shift a pound this week if it kills me.

Have also decided to treat myself as its weigh in day so two choc digestives for 8syns bringing my daily syns to 12! Will be low syn all week now.

Haven't decided if I'll be weighing on Sat or Sunday yet as whilst I don't imagine dinner (when I've 'saved' syns) will be too bad it will probably be much heavier than what I would eat on a pre weigh in night, and it really wouldn't hurt for me to see a loss at this stage in the game.
