ah good for you - get back on the saddle as it will perk you up. Have you been to gym? i told my colleague that there was no way i was going (even wrote on here i wasnt) then before i knew it i went and felt better - trying to get the scales down esp after my bad bad weekend. 6 weeks to my target date. C'mon jen you can do it!!!!
 
Sorry to hear works being tough Jenna. Remember you've just started and you're comin in halfway through a term, that's tough. I have that I shouldn't even be a teacher panic all the time, you're not alone with that.

You just have to get into the swing of things, you'll get there :)
 
Hey lovely :) don't worry about the job panic, I have it all the time too (especially after the grilling I got after my observation yesterday!!) I think it's totally normal as its such a tough job!! Stick at it, I bet your doing great!!

I also think you need to stop being so hard on yourself, 15 syns isn't giving up, it's still within your daily amount!! Your doing great girl, and are my inspiration as you've gotten down to my target of being in the 8s! Xxx

Do you have as much work to do as a substitute? I suppose as its a long term position you will do.
Don't get down about it I'm sure your a great teacher, I was talking to my little one's teacher yesterday (it came up because she asked if my boyfriend was a teacher... he wanted to come to parents evening but had a meeting so missed it) and all teachers feel the same, at least the ones we've seen. Unfortunately there's so much extra work and red tape ect. that it often gets in the way of the actual teaching and you don't get to see the good parts as much as you'd like. Try and relax with it (yeah easier said then done I know) and not let the extra work get on top of you. I say this to my boyfriend all the time, but he never listens. I usually have to shout at him for getting all stressy with me for it to work... do you want me to come and shout at you?

I have to agree with everyone else as well, 15 syns is fine its within plan (I haven't done 15 syns a day yet but think I might actually give it a go one week just to see how I get on) and could you try and eat more as well? as you don't seem to be eating much :/
 
You're right Donna the red tape and extra work is what takes away from the essence of the job which is the reason we all went into it! Which is such a shame. Maybe we could have you on speed dial for a shout when we need it Donna!

I agree with everyone else, don't put yourself down so much :)

Hopefully if I want to eat later I can have two slices of wholemeal toast for my heb. I genuinely don't think I know what normal quantities are...this seems like an awful lot today.
 
Ta emsie, I genuinely don't know what's normal at the minute so hopefully I won't stress about today's food now that you've said that. I did realise today that the last thing I want is to gain weight again so I'm back on the horse (hopefully)

Have had my second heb,,,wasn't hungry just wanted to eat. I really need to plan well at the weekend to stop this.

I really want you to take it easy Jen! I know you are desperate to get to target but you are already looking fab and whats the point in working so hard to get a lovely figure and then starving yourself and messing with your head?
You know theres no need for all that with sw we can eat healthily and plentifully so get on that horse and ride it like you mean it ;)
Plan some of your sw fave meals for a treat x
 
I agree with emsie Jen. When I am following sw and have been doing well I find I then don't want to eat a lot. I tell myself what I am eating is enough but in reality it isn't.
My head is little bit pickled today too but you should eat more. A mug shot wouldn't last me til dinner. Make some lovely soup.
Hope today was better at school?
 
Why do you think you've gone off track? The increase in weight probably wont be 'fat' as you need to eat 3500 calories to gain a pound & I cant imagine you ate that much last Saturday! For goodness sake dont start cutting back on Syns, Hex's & your daily food intake as that wont do you any good at all. Your body will go into starvation mode if you go below 1200 calories & store the food. Im not saying thats what you're doing, but try to just eat normal healthy balanced SW food. You know the nearer you get to target & especially when your BMI is smack bang in the middle of healthy its going to be a hard slog to drop those last few pounds. You've got to think is the weight you're aiming for sustainable in the long term or do you just want to see that magic 'target' number?!
Sorry Jenna, Im not trying to preach to you & Im probably talking a load of tosh to you, but I know exactly where you're coming from, but please try & eat a bit more, especially as you're exercising & you'll see the weight coming off albeit slower now! :) xx
 
I'm ok thanks Kim. Just need to start getting back on track.

Had to have a light lunch today as the scales were not too pleasant this morn. Back in the 9s this morn...I honestly don't even find hunger is what's making me eat. It's literally because its 'time to eat'.

Sounds more like you weren't eating despite the fact that it was time to eat because of what the scale says in that comment? Sorry if I am being harsh but I am worried you are going to make yourself ill over this x
