Lol, I need to take up something.
Green day.

Breakfast: Shreddies, banana, apple and milk (HEA and B1)

Snacks: Apple and grapes

Lunch: Mugshot and an apple (I've maybe been a tad ott with apples today)

Dinner: Baked potato, sweetcorn, spaghetti hoops and carrot sticks.

Snack for later, have saved my HEA and HEB2 for cheese on toast during I'm a celeb..

Fruit salad (1 banana, 1 apple, a slice of pineapple and some melon) topped with a vanilla muller light.

Went for a green day incase I want a snack later.
Used the last of my baking potatoes so will be something different for tomorrow's tea.
Baked potato, veg and spag hoops.

Thats good news Jenna as every little half pound adds up. Dont get into the mindset of cutting back on your food intake as that wont help with weightloss, as it can be quite detrimental. Are you having your syns as you should be having at least 5 per day......nag nag nag! x
 
Oh trust me, not using syns is NOT a problem...it's trying to hold myself back from using everyone on SW's syns that's the problem haha!

Plan for this week (let's hope I stick to it). About 15 syns for today (it's WI day-I deserve a treat) and then about 8 syns everyday thereafter..meaning that if I feel like it I can have 2 choc biccy's everyday.


Sunday's food plan so far.

Green day (It's honestly so weird for me, pre SW I thought EVERY single lunch and dinner should contain meat lol)

Breakfast: Shreddies, banana and skimmed milk (A1 B1)

Lunch: 2 x Linda McCartney Vegetarian sausages (4 syns), 2 slices of wholemeal toast (B2) and spaghetti hoops.

Dinner: Cheesy pasta (A2) with peppers, mushroom, sweetcorn, peas, onion and a little quark.

Snack: Apple and muller light

Using my remaining 11 syns on choc biccy's lol!

Have to admit I find the 1/3 sf rule harder to follow on green, anyone else feel like that?

Never have a problem with my SF as Im a veggie/fruit freak & love most veg/fruit. But to be honest I never worry if I dont get any SF in a meal as my portions aren't that big anyway to have to bulk out with SF & I get plenty through the day. If I do a Green day it tends to involve vegetables anyway......like a Thai veggie curry for example.
Can I ask why you dont have the full 15 syns per day? I've read quite a lot on here that say 10 syns per day, but SW say 5-15 per day.....curious!
 
Mainly because of what I've read on here that people say their consultants suggest 10 syns a day max (also helps that if for some reason I accidentally underestimate it should cover me), I do have 15 some days but not very often. Do you still have 15 everyday even though you're so close to target? I've read that cutting down a bit closer to target can help then again Donna has to have her syns to lose lol!
This I guess, is the problem with not going to a class...you hear from a million different sources but never actually from the horse's mouth.
 
But Jenna I think that the reason that 10 is suggested is to allow for that underestimating already so if you are then cutting back on that when you might not need to you could be missing out and as some say/find you might even lose better having the higher amount?
I don't like the fact that sw apparently say have the 10 for this reason (if thats why it is and not another rumour) as I feel like its saying the plan isn't followable and almost encouraging people not to count the syns properly....but thats probably just me lol x
 
My syns vary throughout the week, some days are <5, some days I have the full 15 & occasionally I'll go over 15 & cut back the next day. I never save my syns for a blowout at the weekend, but do keep an eye on the weekly amount & never go over the 105. As far as Im aware SW still say 5-15 per day. I agree with Esmie about Consultants saying 10 in case you underestimate your syns for the day......surely you cant be counting your syns correctly, so not following the plan correctly! Its not difficult to count your syns, so why not have what you're entitled to if you're following the plan! That wasn't directed at you Jenna, I was just generalising as it seems to be constantly talked about on MM.
If you think about it, 10 syns are 200 calories & for an extra 5 syns its 100 calories.....are 100 calories going to harm you per day!!! SW say 5-15 & thats what Im sticking to until Im told otherwise. Im not cutting back coz Im nearer target as Im quite active & I probably need all my syns. With my level of activity I should have about 1700 calories per day to lose a pound per week......so the more active you are the better! Eat more Jenna & you'll see the weight drop!
