No not really Rosie, to be honest I'm just not feeling it at the moment. Working full time means my evenings are free, no assignments! I'm sure I'll be back to posting properly soon :) Driving lessons are ok.. need to book my test!

It's my 21st on July 1st.. I'm going to try and be suuuper good until then as I'm sure there will be lots of pictures. Maybe cut down the carbs a bit.. try have some salads at work :p Going for drinks with my friends on the 26th, greyhound racing with my family on the 27th and having a picnic with my family on the 28th. I love birthdays! Then on July 4th having a BBQ here. I'm really looking forward to it! My friends from Worcs are coming down and they haven't visited me here before. My friends from around here will be there too, plus my 2 brothers and cousin are coming down. Adam's work mates are coming. It'll be so fun! Think many drinks shall be consumed, but I'm going to hit the diet hard styleeee once it's all out of the way :) I've not really been weighing myself recently. I think I'm going to leave it until the Friday after this one and see what I've managed to do.

Right, birthday week over! Lots of food consumed and lots of alcohol on Saturday. I was horrifically drunk. I kept throwing things.. I threw crisps at Adam, lol.

I weighed 12 stone 8 this morning. I want to be a size 10 (I'd say 9 stone 7) by Christmas.. I think that's achievable. About 7lbs a month.

I have to drop a point now as I'm 21 so I'm on 21 points. Booo :p I'll be on 18 eventually, oh noes!

I got a £30 Bravissimo voucher off someone which I put towards a swimming costume.. I'm going to try get into swimming. Hopefully I'll be able to join the gym in a couple of months too.

Your goal looks the same as mine hun - what height are you? I'm 5'7.5
I currently weight 12st 5lb's but would like to get down to at least 11 but boy oh boy is it hard going when you get nearer to goal!

Paul Mc Kenna has a cd you listen to as you drop off to sleep and the basic messages are

1. Eat when hungry, stop when full
2. Slow right down so you know when you are full
3. Chew, chew, chew again - to slow you down
4. Put your fork down between mouthfulls and don't load it up again until you have swallowed everything in your mouth
5. Eat whatever you fancy obeying the above rules.

Simples!!!

The slow, conscious eating is really powerful - as I hadn't realised just quite how quickly I shovelled in food and it hadn't hit my stomach before I was adding more. Greedy guts.

You will easily hit your target by Christmas but at your height a size 10 will come at a higher weight than 9 7. I am only 5 2, and a size 10 at 9 4.

I am a proper pig! The speed I eat my food is really bad, I definately need to slow down :p

Do you think so? I remember wearing size 12 jeans when I was 10 stone, though I could fit into a size 10 dress.
 
I would say so but I guess it depends where you carry your weight. I tend to put mine on around my middle (perfect little apple shape that I am) and have a relatively small hips and bum in comparison even when I put on weight so maybe that helps me get in the smaller sizes - cos I know my pear shaped friend who is lighter than me wears bigger clothes because of her hips!

Its about where you feel comfortable anyway rather than the actual size. xx

Yeah, I am an apple shape too... I want to fit perfectly into size 10 jeans with no muffin top.. which I think will be about 9 stone 7. I'll probably be fitting into other size 10 stuff before then though.

Ah, the old muffin top - that will be sit ups you need to do then - those oblique ones - nought to do with weight those.

I have seen some right skinny folks with their little fold of fat in place.....lovely!
 
My menu today:

Veggi deli - (9)
Small caramel milkshake - (4) I just had to try it and it was gorgeous, but don't know if I'll have it often.. chips or milkshake, hmmm! First milkshake I've had since I started working there a year ago!

2 pittas filled with roasted veg (peppers, onion, tomatoes and corgette), with lf houmous and tzatziki (8) So yummy! I had it a couple of days ago using a packet spice mix I had in the cupboard but couldn't find it so made my own up.. much nicer ;)

21 :) I could have a couple more as it's a work day, but unless I really want them I'm going to try not to eat them. May have a glass of wine or a couple of vodkas actually.. oooh.. :party0036:

I found it really hard yesterday... I was hungry and I really wanted to eat bad things.. nothing in particular, just junk. Went to Tesco to get an envelop and resisted. It wasn't as hard today, maybe as I had more filling foods or maybe just because it does get easier. I hate the first couple of days!
 
Oblique ones are the ones where you twist as well - train up the side muscles to hold you in place ;)

I can't imagine you'd need to be 9st 7 to fit into size 10 jeans perfectly - it's about that for me and I'm 5'3".
Reckon you'd fit into size 10s at 9st 10-11 ish.
