I've had a really bad weekend :( Last night I binged.. I had loads of baklava (which I discovered Tesco do last night! Damn!), nachos and chocolate. Today I've had roast chicken with the skin on and roast potatoes. I'm really annoyed at myself :mad: TOTM started today so that is probably didn't help.

The main problem last night was that I had dinner too early and was starving in the evening. I didn't have anything healthy to snack on. Going around Tesco when starving is bad! I realise I need to prepare better.. I'm going to do a list, like I used to do when it was all new and exciting, planning my points for the week.

I really want to do this and I need to take it a bit more seriously I think. I have a mid target of end of October 25th (I think :p). I have a wedding to go to and I'd like to be 10 stone 7. I was a bit less than that when I started WW 4 years again for the first time and was a size 12. I really don't want to be here in 4 years saying "I want to get down to a size 14".

So, that's 2lb a week. I can't have big off days/weekends like this or I just won't reach it. When I get my loan in September (hopefully, I was rather late with my application) Adam and I are going to join the gym, yaaaay. This one isn't as close as the one I wanted to join but much cheaper. It's £35 a month for Adam and I think £21 for me as a student. It said on the website student memberships can only be used until 6pm but someone at work is joining and said that if you pay by direct debit you can use it whenever. If not I'll just pay the £35. It includes swimming, all classes and racket sports! I am excited about the racket sports bit, I loooove tennis. It said short tennis though, whatever that is? I may give squash a go. Ooh, and not to mention the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi :)
 
Well tomorrow is another day ...I'm full of those cliches today..and you can refocus Jess. That sounds a very doable target and a positive attitude too.

don't worry about your binge, just get back on it now and keep on going. Gym sounds good but £35 still sounds expensive to me.. but then again where you're living i suppose is much more expensive to live rather than where i am.

whats baklava btw? x
 
Thanks M and Rach :) I have stopped scoffing and I am being good from here on. Though I'm going to Adam's grandparents tomorrow and having dinner there.. cottage pie. Will call it 8 I think, don't really know if it's lean mince or not. Or maybe 10? Hmmm.

Testicle (named it Rupert now, I don't like having to constantly ask "dude, how's your ball today?").. Rupert is much better now. Still tender and a little swollen but definately on the mend. Waiting to see if it shrinks and halves my baby making chances :p Though it's not really the same as losing one ovary is it? That's releasing 1 egg every 2 months instead of every month.. I think one testicle would just mean less chaps swimming in the pool, yeah? Only takes one!

Oh and I'm not weighing in tomorrow, I think I may have put on my 3lbs and I may lose my motivation!

Baklava is amazing Rach, don't try it EVER. It's a Turkish dessert.. basically little bits of pastry in a sort of sticky syrup (I assume, it's sweet and a bit sticky) sprinkled with chopped pistachio nuts. Each piece (about the size of a mini sausage roll) was 2 points and I had about 10 pieces :(

Yeah it is still expensive.. when we went to the gym in Worcs it was £20 a month each for gym, swimming and health centre.

Wow, you've got such a way with words! lol. I hope your fella is feeling better, and I'm sure your baby making chances will be fine-you'll probably find out your pregnant after you get to goal or something like that!

Don't worry about the mini scoff fest-and it is a mini scoff fest compared to what I'm capable of :mad: It sounds as though you've had a lot on your plate lately with your bf not being 100% so just pick yourself up, dust oyurself off and start again chick. You can do it! xx

:) Thanks. He seems a lot better. About time too, I've had enough of running around after him :p I'll know he's fully better when he tries it on again! lol.
 
I did weigh in afterall. I put it all back on, pooo. I still feel motivated and I'm going to lose it again for next week then not put it back on!

Menu for today:

B - Blueberry muffin (4.5)
L - ?
D - Pasta with chicken, bacon, mayonnaise/creme fraiche (low fat) and sweetcorn - 7

23 points leaves me with 11.5 for lunch. Think I'll either have a cheese burger and medium fries or just a quarter pounder.
 
Hi Jess, good luck for next week. I fell off the wagon and had one of the caramel milk shakes. They're lovely aren't they? Gonna have to stay away from McD's obviously!

Hey Rach :) I am. Went a little over points yesterday because I was making spaghetti bolognese and I'd forgotten to buy tinned tomatoes! I had to improvise and added some créme fraiche, yoghurt and garlic and herb roulé cheese to the mince, onions and peas.. More points than tinned tomatoes obviously, but I didn't really have a choice :p

It's Adam's birthday this weekend, eeeek. We're going out to GBK and also I said I'd cook him any 3 course meal he wants. That meal is baked camembert, pie and mash and eton mess. Well I'm going to aim for an STS or maybe even a small loss this week. Damn birthdays.

Great menu Jess, just enjoy it next week will soon be here and of you're not baby making for 6 years plenty of time to get to thepeak of fitness!!
