JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

Half a bottle of wine followed by a tonic water to sober up and a KFC to soak it up :) fab night. So sleepy though and healthy day ahead tomorrow! Night lovelies xxxx.

Haha Ging my friend was having another drink so I thought I'd be sensible and tonic water is super sensible :p xxxx

Morning lovely ladies

Just had a nice 10 hour kip - just what I needed :)

Day off today! Bed is coming this afternoon - it better come right! - so just going to make space for delivery men to get it upstairs. Not sure what time they're coming yet so going to start cleaning bluebell - gonna give her a good vacuum and wipe down initially. Then hopefully after they deliver the bed we are going to the gym and then to aldi to look at fitness stuff and halfords to look at car bits :) Might also take bluebell to a car wash! Not super exciting but actually looking forward to it. Hopefully get to take bluebell for a spin if the bed comes early enough!

Tomorrow day will involve a similar day I think but house needs spring cleaning as friends coming to stay tomorrow night! Then Sunday - probably see James' family :)

Eats for today: I've no idea! But I want them to be good as got some damage control to do! xxxx

Look how shiny and clean she is!! Hehe.

Bed came correct Ging so very pleased. Now just got to fight for the financial compensation for the 2 month delay!

Nutritionist would be fine with food I think! However :/ James took me on a night drive last night and I drove to Asda and we bought some chocolate cheesecake and cream! Haha oops but the novelty was great.

Gonna be as good as I can this weekend but enjoy it. Expect a gain Monday and then a 100% week as best I can! xxxx

You know when you realise you've been lucky?! ;)

Somehow managed a STS despite weekend food being the following:

Sat: Shredded wheat with strawberries; Raisins; Ham cheese and chicken pie with gormet chips and peas; 2 glasses wine; 2 vodka and coke zeros, crisps, ultimate chocolate brownie tower (!)

Sun: Egg and bacon sarnie on white bread with loads of brown sauce; 1/2 sharing bag of peanut m and m's; chicken sweet potato mash veg and 2 Yorkshire puds

Very lucky Jess. I'm genuinely desperate to get back on it though and get to target so I need to get my ass in gear.

Food for today:
B: Protein shake, strawberries (SF), banana (SF)
L: Chicken salad (F and SF)
S: Fridge raiders (1.5 syns) Nuts and raisins, orange (SF). I've also got some shredded wheat with me if I'm hungry pre gym.

Boot camp! It's gonna hurt!

Doing our food shop tonight. So I have a favour :) please can everyone post their fave high protein dinner and I'm going to try some of them :) thank you!!!! xxxx

Wooohoooooo for the STS!! I don't think it's as bad as you thought it was... it just goes to show how healthy habits really do become embedded :)

I love this for a high protein, low fat and REALLY tasty dinner... Mexican chicken stew | BBC Good Food

Easily amended for SW/clean-eating... tastes incredzzz done in the slow cooker too with chicken thighs rather than breasts :)

I normally add lots of veg too... and could serve with quinoa to up the protein?!
I think I'm actually going to make this now in the slow cooker this week! Nommmm... xxx

Ooh that sounds delicious thanks Lil! Will definitely be trying that in the slow cooker :) xxxx

I didn't have the cereal but did have some naughty crisps :/ I actually have a half excuse though - I got really bad cramp in my left hand (so Random and painful!) and my colleagues recommended salt! It helped a bit anyway ;)

Got boot camp now and it's gonna be tough! Hope my hand doesn't wreck or the exercise is going to be even harder! Looking forward to driving to morrisons after though and doing our food shop :) xxxx

Morning lovely ladies

Bootcamp was serious hard work last night! I'm not aching too much yet but I know tomorrow I will be! Also got some dynamax ball training at the gym tomorrow - looking forward to that. Then hoping to do a cardio session on Thursday. I'm starting to feel really passionate about the gym again which is a great feeling!

Dinner last night was chicken fajitas with just 2 small wholemeal wraps and some sour cream - the salsa was homemade and then it was just chicken chipotle and peppers. Was lovely. Ate that whilst watching GOT eek was so good! Anyone else watch it? :) Followed that with a cuppa and small slice of chocolate soreen.

Hospital appointment this morning and then eats are planned as followed:

B: Banana, Protein shake
L: Chicken and chorizo salad (Mixed leaves, rocket, mushrooms, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, cheese, chicken and chorizo)
S: Strawberries, Raspberries, Orange, Nuts, Raisins, Nakd bar - always reads as a lot but I usually manage it all no problem
D: James' mum is cooking a lemon chicken dish in the slow cooker :) knowing Dianne it will be light and healthy!
S: If I really need a snack I'll have a small slice of chocolate soreen (4 syns)

Planned some meals for the rest of the week too! We are going to do a whole wheat tomato chickpea pasta bake for lunches, Fish pie for tomorrow night, and Mexican Chicken for Thursday night (thanks Lil). I'm out Friday night and will choose carefully but James is cooking himself a healthy chilli.

Is it the weekend yet?! Have a good day ladies xxxx
