4. I love new workout stuff...I swear all my tops are pink or black! Having new stuff makes it more fun and more of a motivator....like you just want to wear your new clothes...but there's no point hanging out doing nothing in 'workout wear' so you have to put it to the test by actually working out! :) xxxx

Morning beauts :) It's Friday Eve today :) woop!!

Last nights gym session was great - it was tough though!
5 minute warm up on treadmill
Set 1: 5lb weights 15x dumbell curl, 15x dumbell overhead extension. 10 Burpees. (x3)
Set 2: 10kg barbell 15x bench press, 15x bent over row. 10 bear crawls. (x3)
Set 3: 15x crunch with 5kg medicine ball, 15x leg raises, 15x Russian twist with 5kg medicine ball, 60 seconds plank (x3)
5 minute cool down on cross trainer
I think it's less than we do in bootcamp BUT with no one yelling at you it takes longer lol.

Food wise the chickpea curry was gorgeous! I'll post it on here tonight when I get home!

James tried baking his cake last night but it still came out eggy. It must be something to do with the lack of flour but it's annoying lol. I made some healthy choc though and tbf I quite enjoyed the cake still!

Eats for today: it's a mince day lol
Lunch: Cottage pie (massive portion!)
Dinner: Spaghetti bolognaise done in the slow cooker!

Gym again tonight so going to do a few more sea from Hannah's plan :)

Did you look like a cute little gym bunny in your new top? :) Mince days are good! Mince makes so many yum things! My dad won't eat anything with mince! Totally missing (mincing!?) out! Aw Tasha that's a lovely thing to say :) I do genuinely enjoy it which helps but not really that toned yet as fat still to lose but I am getting there.

You're sounding like a machine in the gym at the mo! And I guess the wedding chit chat is a subconscious reminder of aiming for that hot toned bod in your dress! Oh yeah baby you are gonna be one hot bride! :)

Can't wait for chickpea recipe! With this curry and hopefully pulled pork on sat, my slow cooker is not going to know what hit it this weekend! Xxx
 
I might have a nosey online for some slow cooker recipe inspiration and get involved on Sunday, working on Saturday boooooooooo!

You must be doing some serious inch losing with exercises like that a few times a week! I got on the hula again last night after pilates and dinner while I was waiting for my egg muffins to bake and ouchhhhh - today I am in agony again!

Tried doing squats whilst hulaing last night but it epically failed! Hahah! xx

Hahah doesn't the hula end up round your neck?! I can just about manage walking round whilst hula-ing....oh and also got my dumbells out for some arm lifts last night too! Multitasking to the max! Not quite as hardcore as you in the gym tho jessy! Xxx

That's the plan! Actually it's a good point - I might take some measurements tonight so I can compare. Will also be interesting to compare to the last lot I took!
Ooh Hun ouch indeed your body will be knackered. Haha I have such a funny image of you doing that - as Ging says below doesn't it ride up?! Lol xxxx
 
Morning ladies!
HAPPY FRIDAY! :D

Had another good gym session last night! I wanted to start the c25k training but when I went on my app it still pointed at week 4 (where I got up to last time) so I thought I'd try it! Might as well see if I still could! And I could do it :D really pleased. So I jogged and walked 4k in about 30 mins so hoping by the end of the programme I can run 5k in 30. I was tired after that but managed to fit in some sets with James :) We did 15x TRX row and 15x TRX high row X3; 15x crunch, 15x leg raises, 15x Russian twist with 6kg medicine ball, and 30 secs plank X3. James did some press ups too but I can't master them so going to ask PT to give me a session. We then finished with some dynamax ball training.

Came home to a lovely bolognaise in the slow cooker :) the only thing we need to do is make it more tomatoey! Any tips? We served with Courgetelli seasoned with black pepper, salt, paprika and chili flakes.

Finished off the night with some watermelon and quite a bit of healthy chocolate! Whilst watching dirty dancing.

Going on a hen do tonight which is a dirty dancing tribute night and I hadn't seen it (shocking I know) so watched it and loved it hehe. I got sent the menu for the hen do last night as it's a 3 course meal and nom very yummy very diet unfriendly but I don't care :D going to try and limit the drink though as I don't want hangover munchies or sickies.

We've actually got a free weekend for the rest of it so got food in to keep us on plan, we also have plan for exercise, and getting driving experience in with James.

Ultra long post ladies! Anyone got any good weekend plans? Have a great one :) xxxx
