JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

Hello gorgeous girls :)

Thank you ever so much for your holiday send offs and your birthday wishes!

The holiday was FANTASTIC! It consisted of: cocktails and cava in the sunshine, sunbathing by the pool, some aqua aerobics (!), shopping, eating masses and dancing! I had a lovely time :)

My birthday was just perfect. James was an absolute sweetheart and we went to Matlock in the Peak District for the day and it was lovely.

Back to work today and just not feeling it so it has been rather unproductive so far .... I have decided to not worry about the diet until next week as I am just hungry from being used to eating all the time, and we have a few things on anyway. Back to the gym tomorrow with a kettlebell class though so at least i'll be exercising.

I will catch up on diaries as soon as I can

Hello lovelies :)

Definitely not on plan food wise! Last night was a Mexican feast! Definitely treating this week as a getting it out of my system week. The plan is naughty tapas tonight, out for a meal for James' brother's bday Friday and then a nice chilled weekend. However doing a healthy food shop at the weekend and doing some batch cooking. Then 100% on it (like Sonic as Sarah says) as of Monday. We've got boot camp and kettlebell classes each week now for the next 6 weeks plus a gym session and at least one run to get in!

Got KB class tonight and I know it's going to be super tough :/ but feeling wobbly belly back so I don't mind too much ;)

Mmmm Mexican then tapas...amazing! Enjoy every bite honey; I so know you will be on it like Sonic next week. At least you're giving me a little bit more chance to catch up with you ;) xxxx
 
Girls AMAZING news! After all the stress about my job potentially ending they have made it PERMANENT and not even making me interview for it :D

So so happy as we are at a point in our lives where this is really useful

Like you, I've just returned from holidays. So pleased you enjoyed your's and a belated happy birthday - after both those I'm not surprised you're having trouble getting back in the frame!

Many congratulations on the job - I'm sure you've been making a brilliant fist of it, so your appointment without interview is not surprising!

They are naughty and I'm actually feeling rubbish for them but still need to get them out of system. Will finish all the crap in the house this weekend and then there will be no temptations next week!

Morning lovelies - Happy Friday!

Went to our first kettlebell class last night and OUCH! I am aching everywhere! I really didn't imagine it to be so intense: 4 sets of 45 seconds on 4 exercises with no break! 16 mins of constant tough exercise! Then again with some other 4 exercises. The exercises were tough and I was knackered! It shows having a few weeks off exercise really makes you weaker so I'm determined to keep at it! Tbf I have no choice as I've signed up for bootcamp Mondays and kettlebells Thursdays for 6 weeks. Also want to get a gym session in there and at least one run a week, ideally two or more.

I think if I want to get back into it I need to plan more with other life things such as food as I was knackered last night and it meant I was rajey and rushing this morning and I hate that. The fact my jeans were tight didn't help even though it's my own fault!

Going for a meal and drinks for James' brother's birthday tonight and then staying at theirs tonight - should be good fun!

Actually still aching from KB last last week! Serious DOMS!

Back on it today after a very off plan and fab weekend! The good was amazing at the restaurant on Friday night: piles and piles of smoked meat! Washed down with lots of beer and wine! We had leftover meat with cheesy jackets and salad Sat night, followed by cake and cream. Yesterday: 2 choc chip muffins for lunch followed with a sunday dinner - it was good if I do say so myself, and a magnum.

So it's all out of my system and I'm back on it 100%. Annoyingly I forgot to weigh in this morning but I'll weigh in tomorrow instead. Got a plan for the week which I hope works to shift some of this new bulge!

Mon: Chicken salad; Steak, potato & vegetables. BOOTCAMP
Tues: Steak salad; Sausage casserole
Wed: Sausage casserole; Burritos RUN
Thursday: Pulled pork; Steak, sweet potato & veg KB CLASS
Friday: Pulled pork ....

Home at the weekend and James is on a stag so plan on weighing in Friday. The menu is very meat based but there will be loads of Superfree in there and very little naughty food! Going to cook up some healthy chocolate which I hope helps!

Actually really looking forward to getting back on it. Although I'm starving already lol.

Detailed eats for today:
B - Protein pancakes, Strawberries & Banana
L: Chicken salad: lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, chicken, new potatoes & grated cheese
S: Pineapple, nuts, oat bar (pre gym)
D: Steak, sweet potato weeds & veg
S: Protein shake after the gym! Healthy choc if required!

Welcome back! Sounds like an awesome weekend and I'm drooling over the meat feast!

Food for today sounds amazing; loving your plan for the week overall, in fact. You are so back on the exercise too! I need to try and start fitting in a couple of runs during the week but I'm really struggling...I get up at 6.30 for work anyway as I usually start about 7.30/7.45 so getting up much earlier than that isn't especially appealing but I always seem to be shattered by the time I get home! Feeling really encouraged by my run yesterday though so maybe I will make it happen this week!

It was definitely worth a few lbs on ;) I had a lovely time!

Also got to spend some time with the nephews and I get so much love off them it really sets me up for a good week :)

I could never run in the morning but I make myself go straight on a run or to the gym - no dwadling just straight out there! It is the only way for me!

I hope your Monday is lovely. It is sunny here which helps :D xxxx.
 
Girlies I need a pick me up ...

Feeling a bit blue after bootcamp. All I could see was my fat belly wobbling everywhere and I found some of the exercises really hard form wise. So feeling a bit meh and I know it's silly but :( xxxx
