Hee hee Han, how right you are...being at work has helped so far. I had a small bowl of porridge before work at 6.30am..then one egg ommelette with mushrooms at dinner & I have chicken soup from the freezer for tea. Lots of tea & black coffee going down and so far so good. I thought I would be more hungry than I have been but its actually rather a relief to know what I'm supposed to be eating. Quiet afternoon at home as hubby not well today and work again in the morning. Although an UD I'm going to count calories and keep it sensible
 
Well kept todays UD under control, porridge for breakfast, fish finger buttie foe dinner & homemade burger for tea. Snack of fruit & yoghurt plus a lidl neapolitan ice cream sandwich (a real yum at only 110 cals) Total around 1600 cals. Beans in soak ready to make carrot & mixed bean soup tomorrow for the next few DD's!! Right back into it, which in itself is a NSV cos often after a break it becomes an extended break!!
 
Well done and soup sounds yummy .have you posted it in recipe section x
 
No not posted any recipes, thing is with me is I make them up as I go along dependent on what I have in the cupboards!!
 
That is a great NSV Jilly, its all to easy to not be able to get back into the swing of things after a break. I have been there and failed many a time!! x

I actually think its been the main reason most of my diets or 'good' lifestyle changes failed. I can pinpoint holidays or times when my Mum came to stay for 2 months each Summer (I have 8 yrs weight records, how sad is that!!) and I would put on anything up to a stone and then I would go on gaining from there..always an excuse,,well no more!!

WI tomorrow, but such a crazy day won't get on here till pm. Up at 6.30am, work until 12.30..then have to drive OH to the hospital for tests at 2. 945 min drive).no idea how long we'll be there..but need some shopping on way home. Thank God its a day off Wed!!! Got sausage & mash planned for our UD tea tomorrow, can't see me having time for lunch so will be ready for it!!

It's funny how you really start to find yourself and realise where it all went to ****... I dunno what it is about juddd but suddenly everything makes sense? I guess, for me, it was like lifting the fog of denial, and really seeing things for what they are. X

So true Han, how I wish I had found it sooner, at my age it means too many wasted years...then again I don't regret much!

Anyway WI this morning & I had a 1lb gain, which is nothing so not worrying about it, I'm back on track and expect to have lost it plus extra by this time next week!!! From 6am to 6pm was like another DD as I hardly had any time to eat..but managed to put away sausages, egg and mash for tea..yum yum yum.
Soup again tomorrow for my DD and a little bit of exercise as not working.
 
Good girl keep at it. It's lovely how a slight gain wouldn't bother me in the slightest! On ww I would've been so demotivated knowing the effort it took to lose one ruddy pound lol xx

True, when I was calorie counting if I put on I just felt it was a whole week wasted and wondered why I bothered. Now I'm JUDDing it dosn't matter cos i know its not fat and just as likely to be gone tomorrow...

Anyway, so far a good DD today, fruit & yog for breakfast, soup dinner and the rest of the pot for tea in a bit. Roll on breakfast!! Swimming in the morning and then shopping. Might be able to get something different to make Fridays DD soup with, quite fancy mushroom. Theres a change, enjoying planning next DD before my yum UD!!

Enjoyed my UD today. Made white chocolate ice cream and then decided to add blackberry coulis to it as a ripple... very naughty and very yummy!!!
Madly busy DD tomorrow Work am, another Dr's appointment with OH at dinner time & Work meeting right after. Then another appointment after that. So won't have time to be hungry!! Roll on the weekend
Did nip on the scales this morning just to check..and that pound gain has gone and looking good for next weeks WI:)
 
Hi Jilly, congrats on the positive weigh indication! :eek:) OMG home made white choc blackberry ripple ice cream? Have you got an ice cream machine? I want one so bad, but worry that I'll use it twice and then it'll just sit there like a spare part. Or I'll use it every day and scoff the lot (more likely)

No ice cream maker. I decided like you that I wouldn't use it enough. I make the custard base then add whipped cream and put in freezer for 2hrs. gave it a good stir & then added the coulis. The thing I like about non machine made ice cream is it sets rock hard so you need to get it out of the freezer at least 30 mins before scooping, gives me time to change my mind incase I shouldn't be having it:D Anyway I used Elmlea light this time so at least the cream was less calories...as for the white choc:D
