Morning all, what is with this country, half an inch of snow and we grind to a halt. it took me three times as long to get Colleen to work this morning.

We don't get enough of it to be properly prepared Jim x

No lottery win for me sadly - although Gem might be in Barbados as we speak

Had a bit of snow here today Jim - one small advantage of living in the big smoke is the roads gets cleared quickly.

Morning all, snow mostly gone here, looks like icy roads though. I have to take the car in for annual service today, that, Olivia and watching the cricket is all i have scheduled.

Morning all, no more snow, but we have freezing fog this morning.

We've no snow here but it's quite white outside and very cold x

Morning all, yes Gem we had the freezing fog all day yesterday, now it looks like it's trying to snow again. I'm off to buy some boot's of some kind. If I'm going to play in the snow, then I need something better than trainers, by the time I'd finished building the snowman with Olivia my toes were frozen together, or they felt that way anyway

Ha ha - I bought some new purple wellies and welly socks in November in anticipation cos my usual wellies are only the half ones I use for gardening - so you could say I'm ready x

Morning all, LOL Girls, I didn't even buy any boots, Colleen said I had a pair of Army boots in the cellar, and so I did, they are nice and comfortable and well broken in, perfect for playing in the snow. It's snowing like mad here, roads are not too bad, the gritters have been out all night. Hope no one is snowed in, or if you are that you're in front of a nice warm fire with a loved one.

We have lots of snow but Mr Stone went to work at 6.30 - could be difficult getting home if he doesn't leave early x

You could always give 'em a paint job Jim - you must be a little tired of the khaki and brown look after those years and fancy a bit of purple (maybe Olivia could help you with some gold sparkles?) - the most up to date grandad in town
