Sorry I've been awol for a while...was struggling to keep up with diaries etc amongst other things hehe.

Have had a busy week (compared to usual anyway!)...on Monday I went for my 28 week Glucose Tolerance Test first thing in the morning. Wasnt as bad as last time to be honest because of not having morning sickness anymore. That made it truly awful last time. However...the chairs in hospital are so rubbish...especially when you have to sit there for 2 hours. My back was killing me by the end! Ah well. Been trying to ring the hospital most of today to see if the results are back...but they arent answering the darn phones which is irritating me. :mad: Will keep trying though

That same afternoon I had a midwife appointment and everything was fine....so was happy about that :) Then in the evening me and hubby went to a waterbirth class....most of the information we had already been given when we went on the maternity ward tour so didnt really learn anything that we didnt already know. One part of the class we had to all stand around in a waterbirth room whilst the midwife explained things and answered questions...again, my back was killing me just standing up and I kept switching legs etc and just wanted to go home lol Kept willing people to stop asking questions. :p

Yesterday me and hubby went into town and both came back with new mobiles phones/contracts haha. He got a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I got the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Woop woop! We then went to my massage lady and she was showing hubby exactly how/where to massage me so he can do it at home (mwahahahahaa) and advice about how he can help me during labour etc so that was really good. He now knows where to massage me and how if certain areas of my back are hurting/aching and also knows how to loosen the muscle at the top of my legs where i keep getting the cramps at night which is awesome. Its weird because....sometimes you have to massage a muscle/point at a completely different place to where you are getting the pain/ache.

Getting excited because my SIL is due to give birth to my nephew in a few weeks! :D Its going to make me just want my little one to come too...asap! Ahhh...gotta be patient! Timing couldnt have been more perfect...there will only be 2 months between the cousins...too awesome

Got our 4D scan tomorrow and hoping that baby boy cooperates! Its at 6.20pm so will report back afterwards! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :D

Hiya Jo, I know what you mean by trying to follow threads, they move so fast its hard to keep track.
Sounds like you are going along nicely. Good luck with the result for the GD test. I didn't mind the test too much, the drink was gross enough but we were allowed to leave for the 2 x 2hr periods which wasn't too bad.
Other than that you sound positive and like you are enjoying everything now. Yay to scan tomorrow, can't wait to see the pictures x

Yeah I find that they move so quick and sometimes by the time I can actually log on I have lots of diaries to read which have pages and pages of lots of different things going on lol

Gosh...wish i'd been allowed to leave for the 2 hours! The drink is deffo one of the worst parts....its absolutely disgusting! Ah well...all done now eh!

Try not to worry about it, the girls all understand that sometimes its hard to get the time for all the reading. I find it a bit hard to concentrate on what has been said and whats going on in most threads to be honest.

Yip at least the test is over and done with. Any results yet?

That's ridiculous. I got my results at 2pm the following day. Hopefully they pick up tomorrow x

You don't hear anything re: GTT at my hospital unless there's a problem - they just said that if I'd heard nothing within a week to assume everything was ok!

Hope you manage to get your GTT results, i have to say they told me they would only contact me if there was a problem (i asked when i booked mine how you get the results) so hopefully it means all is OK with your test!

Good to see you back :D, i hope you are feeling a bit better :)
 
They're quick to get in touch too, going by how quick they were with Sarah and they were quick with getting me on iron tablets after my 28 weeks bloods too, had the prescription within three days of the test and that's not even something that's a massive problem. So I think they are very fast if there is an issue. Fingers crossed this means that you're fine and there's nothing to worry about! Naughty of them not answering the phone tho. xxx

I think you're right Hun. They were like lightening with me. I've only known a week and three days and I've had two appointments, numerous phone call conversations, medication etc. I'm sure if there was a problem they'd have rung. I don't think they take any risks in pregnancy x
 
Well...good news...i finally got through to the hospital and spoke to a midwife which is a start lol The results were normal so I dont have GD...yay!! Really happy about that :D The first test i had I got told that i get the results in a week (I just rang them after a few days because im impatient haha) and other times Ive been told that they will only ring you if theres an issue...confusing or what! They told me that my iron levels are fine too...I had been wondering about those as I have been feeling really over tired etc but I guess its just normal pregnancy tiredness :p

I also have my 3D scan tonight and I am hoping that little man cooperates and we get some awesome photos/footage! I rang the clinic to check how many people I can take with me and so I am taking hubby, my mum and my dad hehe. Maybe a little optimistic but im hoping to see him sucking his thumb/playing with the umbelical cord and all sorts :p If all goes well I can post a photo(s) later showing his little face in detail....woooo! Awwww..... <3
 
In other news.....I swear i could feel him hiccuping this morning but im not totally sure. Also, getting 'strange' movements...like this morning it felt like he was shivering (thats the only way to describe it that I can think of) and was unsure what to make of that lol
