JOEYJOJO'S PREGNANCY DIARY

Asda have some nice coats for £19 which only have 3 buttons on and would end around where bump begins...one of those in a bigger size would be good?!

I ordered one in the next sale and it was hideous! The material was like a wet suit...and I got a maternity 18 (I was a 14 when fell preg) and it was too small! I was only 4 months preg at the time so it went back and I bought myself a big men's hoodie to use instead! :) was nice and warm but don't think work appreciated it lol xx
 
I really didnt like any of the maternity coats I looked at...I found them quite unflattering to be honest. Got myself a nice New Look one though for a good price, size 18
 
To be honest I hardly wear coats, I hate them. Last years coat still fits me but I just can't fasten it around my bump.
 
26 weeks :D

Feel like cr@p lol Still got a cold which has progressed into a chest infection......wonderful and just what I needed! Have spent the whole weekend struggling to sleep so im knackered, blocked nose, red raw throat and nose, phlegm on the chest, wheezy chest, constantly sweating/feeling really hot, cant taste anything etc etc...not fun

Hoping it clears up soon but im guessing it will take longer than usual with my rubbish pregnancy immune system..ah well. My whole family have it and so we couldnt go out to celebrate my little brothers birthday either yesterday which sucked..bless him. I guess at least I dont have to worry about going into work or anything

So sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish :( :( Sounds awful and by the sound of all that I'd be a wreck :( bless you. Have you been to doctors to see if you are allowed anything to help ease it? Especially now it's on the chest. :(

At the moment Ive just been having lots of honey and lemon hot drinks which have helped a bit and Im just hoping that it eases off soon

I hear ya on the no sleep thing.. Altho in my case nothing to do with being poorly.. Just general lack of sleep.. :(

Are you taking a multi vitamin at all to build yer immune system??
All I can recommend is staying indoors, lotza rest, n lotza vitamin C.. Feel better soon

Yeahhhhh, Ive been taking Pregnacare multivitamins whilst TTC and since falling pregnant and since ive been ill ive been drinking Tropicana apple juice which has lots of Vitamin C too. Im hoping i'll start to feel better in the next day or two :)
 
Aww hope you feel better soon. Its no fun being sick while your pregnant. I had the very same cold last week and it was annoying to say the least. Hubby has it this week and I've got him all the tablets I wish I could take haha.

Plenty of sleep and rest is all you can do. Ohh and the Boots glycerol lemon and honey is suitable during pregnancy x
 
Hi - just dropping by. Sorry you've not been feeling well. I had this a week or so ago, went to the pharmacists and they gave me simple linctus - sorted my chest out after a couple of days. It's one of the few things we can have.

Aww sorry you aren't feeling well :( make sure you get plenty of rest and hopefully your body will get rid of the nasty bugs and get you back to normal soon! xx
 
Thanks girls :) Think the chest infection is the worst part at the moment...its annoying me! :(

Ive cheered myself up a bit though by booking a 3D/4D + growth scan for 24 October :D Got something to look forward to now! Hehe! Cant wait

Aw that's nice of her. It's far cheaper to live 'Oop North' lol. It'll be worth it when you get to see your little boy's beautiful face :)
