Hi all. The dress is still tight on the boobs and hips but the wedding is not for another 14 weeks yet. It did help me keep my eye on what I ate at the buffet though which was good. Drank diet coke too
I promise I'll post dress pics as soon as it fits and I can get photographed in it though.
Mobile broadband is on the slow side but better than what we could get on the boat before - we can't get ordinary broadband at all.
From what I've seen of the new plan, it's just points same as before but with an emphasis on making healthier choices so I'll stick with core with the odd points week thrown in if I want a change. Are they intending to allocate you so many points a day for healthy food and the rest for treats or are they just encouraging you to eat from the core list? If it's the latter, then it's not really a new plan at all!
Glad the dress-fitting helped steer you in the right direction at the buffet 14 weeks is plenty of time to lose some inches around your bust and hips - it will be a perfect fit come your big day!!!
Hi guys. Put 1 on this week but i did have my choc binge yesterday and also my 2.5 off last week was partly down to my poorly tummy so i've not done too bad for my first week without the runs (sorry for tmi )
3 more WIs before xmas and I want to lose 6lbs in that time so it's off the quality street and onto carrot and lentil soup which my oh is just making now
Sorry you gained with week. I happens sometimes but it might mean you have a bigger lost next week. Your 6lbs for xmas is doable. Thats what I'm hoping for also.
Thanks guys. Jen, the soup was lovely (although had quite a lot of pepper in it!) and it was very nice to come home and have tea cooked for me. I'm still doing Aussie Core so will have a nice yogurt and a cocoa made with skimmed milk later if I'm hungry
I posted a long reply and then my internet crashed (grr!). Carrot and coriander soup a la keith:
Peel and chop 8 carrot and put them in a pan with one chopped onion, a handful of red lentils (leave out if you want 0 point soup but only half a point per serving and adds some protein so more filling), some black pepper, a pint of water and a veg stock cube. Simmer till carrots are cooked then add a bunch of fresh coriander, chopped and blend the whole thing with a hand blender. Et voila. Serves three hungry people or four less hungry.
