I live in front of a school field and get loads of foxes too! Sounds like a woman screaming. I come from the countryside (Worcestershire) and I never saw a fox until I was 18 and moved to London!

Hello ladies! Sorry haven't posted much last couple of days but been really busy. Wallpapered downstairs loo yesterday (hurrrray!!). Well chuffed with it and actually think I should take decorating up as a living. Women are much better than men as are more precise and have a better eye for colour etc (hubby has no idea on colour etc and just leaves it to me).

Went to Portsmouth today and spent fortune in outlet shops. Haven't written a food diary as been eating rubbish, e.g. Nandos for lunch, cornflakes mid afternoon, cheese & coleslaw sandwiches, bounty etc etc (see what i mean). I know i'll be fine and get back on a roll next week when i'm back to work and will be more disciplined (will also go back to swimming).
Tommorrow is a day for cleaning Haven't had a good clean during school hols so lots to do! Will be 100% from tommorrow I have promised myself. I feel bloated tonight with eating rubbish so know I will be in the right "zone" tommorrow to kickstart myself. Got to go food shopping as forgot to order online so will look for some different low point yummies!

Hello all. Well house all cleaned and then the family arrived home! Eldest son's room always looks like we've been robbed. If we got burgled and they got in his room first they'd go back house as they would think we'd already been burgled! Anyway, been quite good food wise.
L - ww tom soup & choc mousse 2.5
D - Quiche & salad & choc mousse - 7
S - ww yoghurt, apple, 2 satsumas, 1 hot choc drink, 3 minstrels, nibble cheese - 8
Total = 17.5
Not much organised for weekend. Think will try to chill out over the weekend ready to go back to work on monday Pretty boring post i'm afraid - apologies x

Just outside Alicante. My friend has a villa there (dead handy!). When I go to Spain with family I like Javea on Costa Blanca. Its got a lovely beach and large enough for it to be lively in the evening without being too commercialised. Where are you going?

We got an apartment near Murcia, 60 min from Alicante airport so not far where you are going. It is nice there and easy when we go with kids. But I have to say I am more of of Puerto Banus lover when away with OH and might miss that flashy bars and night life.

Son's can be a nightmare when out on the town. Eldest son is the one who will always attract hassle (he says he doesn't know why!!). My middle son, is as good as gold and I know I will never have problems with him. You bring them as you know best and lecture them about going out, but once the drink, women and hormones kick in, its anyones guess what happens! Never been in trouble with police (cross fingers) though, so at least that's one thing. Hope you're having a better week than weekend x

Not written on diary as been quite busy so just been lurking! Back to work today:cry: Feel knackered now! Have been good today apart from couple of random chocs left on my desk which i felt obliged to eat.
B - ww yoghurt & hot choc 2.5
L - Chick sandwich & ww rice 5?
D - Chick pasta and salad - 7
S - low cal choc mousse.
Came home from work and went straight to the swimming pool and they were closed Am going to summun up the energy later to go for a little trot. What time does it get dark now, as i will only run in the dark as I run like a duck! Will drag a son out with me so don't worry won't get mugged!
Spent about 3 hours yesterday gardening, so ap points built up then (and dog walking). Will try to write later - hope everyone else has had a good monday x

Don't go out after dark - Karen's jogging!!

Well as the flamming swimming pool was closed when I went after work, decided I had to do something to burn some calories, so dragged middle son out for a trot around the streets. Did the 5km run for life last year and was on quite a roll, but was only a fair weather jogger and stopped when yukky weather started!! Anyway, ran a bit walked a bit over 3.5km, so will have to improve a bit. Want to do the run for life again in June, but have not applied yet. Was quite pleased I had made the effort and will go again Wednesday. Am going swimming early tommorrow (know it is open as its when all the oldies go for free so I will feel quite fit and fast doing my lengths. One man was floating on his back the other day and I thought he was a gonna!! Anyway, sorry to bore you all but am well chuffed that i'm in the 'zone' for exercise. I want to be slim for my girlie holiday at end of June and defo for my holiday in August.

Well done on running tonight! Dont worry about your running style! All of us got one and I apparently keep bouncing to the sides:sigh: Hope swimming goes well tomorrow but dont underestime OAPs! In my village they wizz up and down the pool faster than I can!

just nearly choked on my cereal twice while reading your diary - first at your title and second at the possibility of an old man pegging it in your pool

Well just got back from swimming with the oldies - they certainly make the most of a free swim in the pool! There's one old guy doing front crawl, takes so long bringing his arm back over from a stroke, I think he might loose balance in the water and fall back into backstroke. There is also another (looks at everyone a bit pervy) who has a black hairpiece. Bit concerned if it gets loose and pool evacuated thinking its a dead animal. Decided not to put bag in locker just in case as could evacuate straight to car instead of standing outside! Decided I not only run like a duck, I swim like one. Now off to put on make up to make myself look respectable and get my money back from inflatable goal I bought for xmas. It has slow puncture and shop had to blow it up in shop to see if i was telling porkies. Cost £100 so hope its all floppy now so i can get money back and get another one.
Beautiful day here, hope everyone else is getting this nice weather. Day off so lots to do - bye.... x

p.s. will try to go on everyone elses later in afternoon as got to go to sons footie match tonight so will be out all night

Well done on your running and your swimming expedition - sounds like a people watching session and quite a laff ;o) Its a good thing to swim like a duck at least you know ur not in fear of drowning
