Evening all. Ah the weekend at last :D

Just back from dancing and dinner with DH. We were learning rumba and samba tonight - made a good hash of both! Nice dinner afterwards at Fishworks to make the most of the babysitter :)

Food today
B bacon and eggs
L flax sandwich with pepperoni, cheddar (ate before lunchtime meeting and buffet of sandwiches and pastries and fruit didnt even look interesting - yea :D )
D grilled seabass, spinach with garlic, fennel salad
S pepperami, pork crackling, mim with marmite

W some - must do better
E 1 hour dancing
A 2 glasses dry white

Must be bedtime soon
 
Morning all.

A nice slow start to the weekend today - need to get food planning shortly, as off this afternoon to kiddie birthday in wimbledon where we are helping my friend to manage 10 eight year olds + DD for show followed by pizza express. Now i know PE does salads but it's going to be torture not having my favorite pizza! :cry:

Also some learnings overnight: too much flaxmeal makes my innards unhappy :( Wine seems to make me and DH both hungrier the next day (still nothing like a carb craving but worth watching)
 
Ah you have the same flax issues as me, except mine seem to be immediate. So frustrating as it's a great, filling food to take with, but then my tummy is embarrassingly loud so it will have to only be an at home food. I'm getting tempted to order low carb wraps or pittas.

Well well done on surviving the sandwiches yesterday and best of luck facing the pizza challenge today. You've been doing great.
 
Agree lol. She IS my best friend and there will no doubt be wine to dull the pain..... :D
 
Well survived the day. Completely shattered when we got home at 630 and dont think we did so much. It was pretty noisy in pizza express and maybe it was the stress of watching all those dough balls, pizzas and pieces of birthday cake being passed around :eek:

Hi piglet - yes the presentation went fine - think avoiding the buffet distracted me :) Dont miss out on the preparation - you know it's worth it!

T (at PE) olives to start, chicken salad with olive oil instead of honey dressing
D smoked salmon on piece of flax bread
S mini pepperami

E none
A large glass red at PE to survive, large glass of white at home to recover :D

Morning Vicky - feeling virtuous this morning. It's lucky weigh in is monday or would definitely have succumbed!

Nice lazy day planned today - DH & DD just doing homework - i'm drinking tea, catching up on minimins and wondering how long i can get away with not getting dressed lol
 
Tempting - but not sure I am confident enough to go out to the Italian with friends in my pjs lol
So at least there is a deadline!
 
Have a fab evening tonight Katie. Am just dragging myself out of my pit and into some decent clothes, myself.
 
Ok - managed to get dressed finally! Checked and 9 carbs still available for dinner tonight so hopefully wont completely blow it for tomorrow's WI :)
 
Ok fuzzy reporting in here:) Evening was great - kids werent so bad - well plenty of other adults to entertain them!

So today

L roast chicken with aubergine and courgette
S flax bread with marmite
D share of antipasto plate ( all legal yummy), fillet steak, spinach ( replacement for pots but over salted so couldnt eat)

E absolutely none
A feels like tons - cant really type - probably a bottle of red

Blah blah. Must be bedtime..... Still have to put DD to bed tho ....,
