Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Morning all :D

Weigh in day & I'm very happy. 1.6kg off ie 3.5 lb :D:D:D
I have been careful this week but that hasn't stopped me enjoying meals out and some wine - proves that the carbs are key for me!

I've hit my mini target for before hols - and I've got 3 weeks to go still! Will try to lose a bit more in the hope that I can come BACK from holiday at target weight lol;)

DH is also continuing to disappear and has now adjusted his target twice and still losing. He has decided that eggs every morning dont suit him and cant eat flax, so I think he is going to try have pittas for breakfast and see if that slows him down a bit! There is also talk of doughnuts:eek:

will try to catch up on the board today

Gosh, well done Katie, you are like a machine! One that gets to go out and have a good time, of course. Lose a bit more now and you'll be able to seriously relax on your hols.

Re: hubby - maybe he's like Jim and needs to eat one carby meal a day to maintain? Obviously I'd suggest one you don't eat together! Having a balanced meal sounds better than eating donuts, ESP if he's bringing the things home.

Well done on another great loss, and for hitting your first target K, bet you're really chuffed. :D

Well done Katie, you are going great guns!

If anybody is losing too fast can they please help themselves to some of mine to get rid of instead please? :)

Thank you all lovely people :D

Went out this afternoon for my promised treat for hitting the mini goal - a shopping trip to East:) I was aiming for one summer dress for the hols - to my surprise lots of them fit (they havent for a long time!) so i ended up with 3 dresses and a top - whoops

Katie shopaholic :D Morning

You sound as bad as me Katie. I cant stop buying clothes even though Ill hopefully never get the chance to wear half of them coz theyll be too big soon. ;)

Afternoon:D
Went to office, did one meeting, discovered the other was cancelled - gave up and came home again:)

Hmmm - think i might be a shopaholic - that's true. But so much more fun shopping when going down instead of up!!!!!!

Got to do a work call later and then off out with DH this evening. It's a wine tasting with food; we're planning to eat ahead and focus on the chateau neuf du pape:D

Woohoo - lcm just delivered a large box of tortillas and pittas :)
Dinner plans being edited as we speak!

FRANKENFOOD ;)

[blushes and whistles while hiding..........]

Err....... it's specifically for DH as he cant eat eggs anymore.........altho some may slip my way very very occasionally :)

Oh yes, I'm sure it will Katie :)

Someone needs to teach me' the ways of shopping, or at least having the confidence to wear clothes I buy. I have a size 16 love label dress but can't force myself to wear it - have been in the same uniform of jeans and 4 different colored, same style primark jumpers since November. Funny thing is I'd never worn jeans in my life before September last year.

If some of your 'frankenfoods' do slip in, do tell us what they're like. Once I'm owling or maintaining I'd like to try them - I think I'm off real bread for life. Had toast yesterday as couldn't face much and am so bloated.

You and me both hun - very excited about having a roast beef, cheese and salad wrap tomorrow :)

Forgot to say, I wandered through Canary Wharf tonight after my meeting and saw a ginormous Marmite money tin thing - Clintons, I think? Anyway, thought of you :)
