Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Morning Katie. Nice day yesterday?

Evening all;)

Collapsed and having a cup of tea after another busy day! You can actually see surfaces in our living room and kitchen - it's amazing lol:D Also managed to get to my usual dance class which is running over the summer - now that was a shock after 3 weeks off

Lunch out yesterday was lovely - there is a newish Med Kitchen in Richmond overlooking the river and they do a very good value set menu. The food was superb and avoiding the pitta and frites relatively straight forward;) Out tonight to my friends 50th in teddington - hope i dont snooze at everyone!

We had a lovely chicken caesar salad at home for lunch today - this diet continues to be great. I hope the scales agree on friday
Xxxx

I could have sworn I posted the other day but I guess not! Glad you had a fab hols misses you did better than me, I did 3lbs in a week. x

I love Richmond Park! Not been for ages though... And the river is so lovely :)

Morning katie, that restaurant sounds good love

Morning all:)

Yet another restaurant review...;) was out at my friends bday last night at Brasserie Gerard in Teddington. Lovely food and wine - country pate to start plus onglet steak and salad for main course. Food was good but unfortunately evening ran rather late with mains being served at 9.30 ! So sat rather heavily overnight:( altho perhaps that was the excessive amounts of red wine......;)

Anyhow, today trying to finish off most of the tidying downstairs, a bit of work email and then off to meet my parents for lunch. Going back to Med Kitchen again as just such amazing value:D

Hmmm...i wonder if we could set up an Atkins restaurant review blog? :)
Have a great day everyone
Xx

Sounds like a lovely evening, even if it was a late one.

Good luck on the cleaning up part 2 - and yes to the reviews, although I insist on being on the review panel :D

I love Teddington Katie... I used to work there... Menu sounds great! :)

Morning Katie :) How's the clean up going?

Morning All:)

Happy weigh in this morning as 1kg off so back to posted weight and sneaking in at 29.9 :D The past week has had plenty of wine and food but no Normande sauces and fewer meals out! We head off to the Isle of Wight again Saturday but since self catering I hope to be able to maintain the rest of the hols...Also we have a wedding to go to the first weekend in September and I can just squeeze myself into my original designer top at the moment;)

Ended up going around to my parents for lunch yesterday rather than out as threat of serious downpours. When it did arrive - it was impressively wet for a bit there. Reminded me of Singapore - except it was 15 degrees instead of 33 :D

Clean up almost done - just a last few bits. The house feels all spacious with surfaces available and will be nice when we get back from hols. Upstairs of course is now worse because of all the displaced stuff from downstairs lol;)

Looking forward to the day - bit of tidying, bit of packing and out for dance class this afternoon. Then dropping DD at parents to stay over this evening while we meet friends in Richmond - tonight is Japanese. I am crazy about it but haven't tried on atkins yet - planning to stuff my face on sashimi and will no doubt be on the sake. Expecting it to hurt my wallet more than my diet......:p

Have a great day everyone

Katie, when were you in Singapore, i spent a good few years there, first with the Army in the early '70's and then from 2000 to 2002 as Ops Director for Sanderson Systems Far east division, We lived in a serviced apartment on the Junction of Bukkit Timah rd and Rifle Range road. I absolutely loved singapore

Snap Jim - we were there from end of 99 to beginning 2002 and i was flying madly around asia doing business development! Had a flat in a condo near holland village. I still dream about the olympic size pool surrounded by palm trees - bliss! :D

Also just sitting down for a cuppa - finished all the tidying and even stuffed all the spare guest bedding into those vacuum bags - so satisfying when they shrink almost flat:)
