Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

This place has mirrors along the whole length of it - an instructor with the most amazing baZOOMS - they have a life of their own and sometimes I get distracted watching them lol (in a purely platonic manner of course) and people who attend 4 or 5 classes a week (along with other plebs like me lol) :D
 
Evening all:)
A pleasant day - went up to town and had lunch with a friend. She has such a tough life with one of her kids special needs and yet she is always smiling. So then when i was going to zumba and DHwas upset because DD threw a tantrum i try to remember that! Both dh and dd in bed now - think they wore each other out!

Food today:
B bacon eggs half slice burgen
S pork crackling
L feta and salad, tuna steak and beans and mange tout (great set menu:) )
S lc pita and houmous
D courgette bol, strawberries and cream

E zumba - i love it:D
W lots
A nope - it's a school night;)

Ahh - that could be tricky and distracting then;). But dont worry you'll be one of the pros soon! When i first started i was most worried about the bright red i went lol!
 
Morning Katie ... I think you need to hold zumba classes for us on here! You sound so comfortable with it... I will definitely give it a try once I find a place with re-inforced floors, no mirrors, an ugly instructor and a class for people with left feet! Lol :)

Struggling to have time to post! A good day yesterday seeing my outplacement consultant and then a friend for drinks and supper. Not sure if it was a bug or the white wine on an empty stomach but couldnt really eat dinner and slept badly with tummy upset. Feeling slightly better now so heading out dancing - kill or cure! Also we are round to my ps this afternoon to celebrate dads bday - DH has made a fabulous sf cake - looks yummy. Will report back!

Food for yesterday
B bacon eggs half slice burgen
L chorizo rapido
S none (unusual for me)
D some cold meats, houmous, tzaztiki off a sharing platter

W not enough
E trekking round town
A two glasses of white (cause of upset tummy?!)

Hi all,
Survived the dancing (although kill came into it:eek: ). And managed a nap this afternoon so feeling a bit better. Still not 100% - wondering if it's a bug as DD had one the end of last week. If it is then should be better soon as only lasted 24 hours:)

Food is starting to sound more interesting - always a good sign;) oh yes and DHs sf cake was lush:D
 
Hi Katie, hope you're feeling better hun. There are tummy bugs going around. My OH is laid up with jippy tummy at the mo, just hoping I don't get it, although it might help with me issues of 'going to the park' lol.
 
Morning Katie, yes there are tummy bugs going round, Colleen has had a dicky tummy for a couple of days, I've een OK though

Anyway, feeling a bit better this morning - slept right through from 9.30 til 7.15 altho did have some strange dreams (caught off susie?:) ). Was hungry enough for my usual breakfast too - phew! Still got a bit of a tummy ache and rather burpy but hopefully over the worst;)

Nice surprise this morning as needed another notch in on my belt - which i only wear because these trousers are too big:D. At home all day with time to catch up on all the stuff i've been neglecting as DH out at golf. Think i'll start with my desk - there are so many piles of stuff on it i have this continuous anxious feeling about what i'm supposed to be doing that's hidden in there:eek:

Evening all:)
Managed this evenings dance class so think pretty well back to rights. Got stuff done today too so that always feel like things a bit under control.

DH has persuaded me to skive off tomorrow and we're going to see the Tent london exhibition - will be nice to have a day out together. Weekend might be a bit stressful as DDs big performance is sun night so hope she doesn't get too het up! Also we are out sat night for planned cheat meal - it's bday weekend for DH and my best friend so we're all going out to the place we tried in feb with mega tasting menu - very exciting:D

Hoping tomorrow's wi is ok - then i can enjoy the meal without worrying. Also a good wi means i will up to 35g carbs.

Anyhow, food for today

L lc carb wrap, houmous, salami, salad, baby toms
D prawn, leek and boursin sauce with cauli rice
S strawberries, teeny bit sf strawberry cake (left over from DHs baking), cream. Cheese as nibblie - all that dancing!

E dancing - bits are aching!
E nope - but need to get into practice tomorrow as there's a tasting wine menu saturday along with the food:D

Glad you are feeling better. Enjoying the dancing?? Im hoping once my foot is sorted i will be able to go back to zumba - although it is the exercise which has got me in the position iam in now. !! Enjoy the weekend and thanks for all the support. I will get there in the end. x

Hi Nutty - couldnt live without my dancing - hope your foot gets better and you can back to zumba soon!

Wooshie fairy has been over for a visit - wi shows 1.2 kg lost ie about 2.5 lb. Extremely happy with that. :D:D:D
Means that overall i've lost 25kg - i can even lift that :eek: only 1lb to go to hit 4 stone lost. Also 18 trousers that were tight now fit nicely too.
Finally means i can move up to 35g of carbs - will be interesting to see how easy that is?!

The sun is shining - off to do a grown up exhibition today - life is good. Atkins rocks;)

Oh I'm SO pleased for you Katie! Your careful planning and re-introducing carbs is paying off big time! :)
