Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Evening all:)

Not a bad day. Zumba first thing - a new class that's only 45mins but i think she makes it intensive deliberately:eek: then various emails and calls followed by a charity/business do - with speakers and networking. Carefully avoided the canapes (had a snack in my bag) and even avoided all the free wine! Then when i got home for a late cab bol - dh pointed out that it isn't a school night (given strike tomorrow) so had to have a glass of red with dinner. Well this is life:D

Now what to do with DD tomorrow......!

Morning all:)

Just at our local leisure club waiting for lunch. DD playing, DH in gym. Then we swap and i get to dance class while he lunches and entertains her.

Just realised i'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight so wine deffo included - perhaps i'll skip wi this week?;)

Oh and cab bol is spag bol with cabbage as the pasta- yummy

Evening everyone:)

Just a quick check in - back from the belly dance dress rehearsal for sunday. Was a bit of a mess - we kept forgetting our steps, annoying the teacher and had to change formation to fit the room:eek: oh well - luckily the halfa is only for family and friends:D

Had a lovely evening last night with my friend - we weren't too bad on the wine! The tapas by richmond station is soo atkins friendly - can eat almost all their meat and seafood tapas - so much choice and really delish:D

Today i messed up in Browns - had ordered the house salad and when it came it had quinoa in it. Rather than send it back, since i'm supposed to be testing some carbs in premaintenance, i decided to see to see what happens. Total carbs for the day will be 55g when i usually max out at 40g. Looking out to see what effects/cravings it might cause. Also supposed to be wi tomorrow - bit tricky to see impact as i was expecting an sts due to all the drinking this week. So we shall see. May miss it anyway as have to get up early as off to another full day training in town

Morning all. Woke up at 6 this morning starving plus had a mild tummy ache last night. Wi was 2lb up - i shall definitely be avoiding quinoa from now on :eek:

Anyhow not too worried on the scales - should come back off fairly easily. Also had a final session with my outplacement consultant yesterday who i first met on 24th jan and thinking thro all my life changes this year. I'm 3/4s the woman i was lol

Off to all day training course today and then out for drinks and dinner with my "cohort" - should be nice

Di - will definitely invite you to next hafla - they are quite a laugh:D

Afternoon all:)

Finally feeling human enough to post. We had friends with their kids round yesterday evening - they left 9.30 or so once all the kids were over sugared and over tired:eek: unfortunately we didnt manage to persuade them to take DD to so then took another hour or so to get her into bed - much screaming from all!

Anyhow DH did a lovely barbeque and the guests got jacket potatoes. The celeriac mash meant i wasn't jealous at all;) Plenty of wine had by all (the adults lol) and followed by DH mega sf cheesecake.

Today we have been doing DDs homework and figuring out her costume for egyptian day on friday. Also practicing my dance as i'm off out to the Hafla later on.

Apparently we are having a little party tonight too....think i will need to go a bit clean and green this week to recover from december overindulgence.

Hope all well - off to catch up
