I'm so excited for you!

Im finding the fast days ok on 5:2 and using remainder packs from S&S for fast days. I fast throughout the day and have my packs at 6 or 7pm more or less as soon as I get home and sort dinner for kids after work. To be honest find it relatively easy as I know I can eat more the next day. However, I'm not confident to eat "normally" as the book says on non fast days so I do track on MFP. just fearful of gaining weight! i limit myself to one slice of bread or bun a week but have plenty of veg and little fruit. definitely worth a go for maintenance. I had a STS on Monday though scale dropped almost a pound and a half this morning.

I think you'd find okay.

Well off for early night as had a PT session and I'm tired!
 
Quick update before I scoot off to work - week 4 - 2.8lb lost :) that's 20lb in 4 weeks. I just can't believe it. 2.6lb from my first huge goal :), next week maybe?? Weeeeee
 
I'm so close I can smell the hospital :) I'm hoping that it will be next week... I am at the doctors anyway on weigh day next week I will be asking for my specialists number and name (as I forgot) so I can call her!!
 
Brilliant! Great news. What kind of timescale will you have when you get to your goal? Will they start the treatment straight away?
 
I was told 18 months ago to lose 6 stone and call when I have so I have as smear (hate them) test next week so will get the gp to give me the details :) Inshaallah I will be 13st or a smidge below by next week
 
Oh god nightmare! I think everyone fears the smear. But they are a necessary part of looking after ourselves so I guess that it's got to be done. Of course you will be 13 stone next week. You can't fail! So exciting. I'm off to the doctors myself today. Dreading it.

Alaikum Salaam :) I stayed the same this week... I was miffed but lost 2.75 inches and that makes up for it. How are you doing?
 
Well I'm maintaining, planning my next move...

That's pretty good inch loss. You will have another woosh next week as your body catches up. Don't worry!
 
I hope so not long to my initial goal now!!

I have decided to weigh in on Saturdays from now on :) so I have a whole 5 days now to stick to my packs

Thanks ladies I feel fab and after trying clothes on Saturday and yesterday whilst wandering the shops I am finally starting to feel small :)

I get my hijabs from all over primark generally have a nice range, charity shops, crafty places, eBay (great selection for next to nothing if you wait for them to come from china)
 
The last 2 weeks I have lost 0.2lb but 4 inches... Ill take that would rather the scale go down but maybe it will be a woosh next week.

I am getting disheartened but will carry on regardless... I'm 13st 2.4lb and keep fluctuating between 13st 1 and that!! My totm is due and its getting me down! 13st is the big number for the hospital....

Oh well need to be on point this week again and see what next week brings!! I have been having a couple of protein and veg meals maybe I need to get back to basics
