ProPoints Katy's diary: No more binges & no more wasting time!

Well today has been 100% to plan so far.. Was running late this morning getting myself to training so I skipped breakfast as I didn't have the time! I really need to ensure i start going to bed earlier and waking up earlier so I always have time for breakfast. I find my hunger pangs are a lot less with porridge in the morning. If i don't eat breakfast i don't feel hungry but usually when i do then eat i cant stop or get hungry in the eve!

My works training today was on 'staying safe' in social work both on visits etc and burnout/stress. I have to say i feel even more stressed after discussing what makes me stressed through work etc! Lol...

Food diary:
Bfast: nothing

Snack: coffee with one brown sugar 1pp

Lunch: sushi 6pp
Fruit salad 0pp

Dinner: having a chicken roast
Chicken breast 4pp
Roast potato 6pp
Parsnip 2pp
Stuffing 2pp
Kale 0pp
Carrot 0pp
Swede 0p

Well its weigh in day tomorrow; have to say i don't feel any lighter and my belly is bloated :( not very hopeful!

Food diary:

Breakfast:
Porridge 4pp
Milk 1pp

Snack: fruit 0pp

Lunch:
Chicken breast 3pp
Salad leaves, cucumber, tomato 0pp
Coleslaw: 3pp
Wholewheat pasta 4pp
Pesto 1pp

Snack: Latte 2pp

Dinner:
Lasagne (homemade) worked out 19pp?!???! Considering i am having a small portion???

It was amazing! I have to say though.. Ive realised why its so high nothing is low fat ie sauces pasta cheese etc!

It could be lower points xx
 
Feel quite down about my weight and appearance tonight. I cancelled a night out because I didn't want to look like a walrus in the bar, plus also spending points on alcohol just for a few drinks whilst already feeling **** about myself and possibly having a hangover tomorrow needing greasy food.. Thus making me feel even worse about myself!

I did start to do really well with exercise but stopped so i think il pick up where i left off a few weeks ago and start again. Gonna also try to go low carb for a few days to stop this 'bloat' x

babe ur anything but a walrus! i no its horrible when u feel massive though (well next t u i am lol)! but i totally get the wasting points on drink! i have 8 bottles of wine in the kitchen that ppl got me for my birthdasy and i just dont want to have them, i dnt wanna waste the points if im honest! coz 19 on a bottle of wine then i will get munchies or what ever and at the moment i dnt wanna have to deal with that!
god idea about the exercise i went power walkin yesterday ppl were prob drivin past me thinkin whats that idiot doing haha but hey i felt great after!!!

hope ur feelin better this morning - and jus look forward to that night out where u'll b super confident and gawjus at the bar defo not a walrus!

Ermmmmmm as if you're a walrus!!!!! Not eating the carbs will defo make u feel less bloated so give it a go. Try and have a carby breakfast like porridge or bran flakes coz you'll find it easier to eat low carb through the day/evening xxx

I honestly feel it though! Gosh i didnt realise it was that many points for a bottle of wine! Eeek. It is a total waste and especially a waste if you're not going to enjoy it or feel guilty. I thought it was a waste me going out in that kind of mood but luckily my mate was understanding and we had a chilled night in!

Well done for power walking! I struggle doing that! I am gonna go on a long walk with the bf in a bit and then do my dvd starting from tomorrow.

Feeling better today thank you and going to try stick with low carb see how i go xx

Today i feel a little more positive, think a good nights sleep helped too! I need to realise this whole weight loss thing is in my hands so i need to start getting focused, stop self sabotaging, stop whinging and get on with it!

Food for today (tryin low carb)

Bfast: branflakes and fruit (carby i know)

Lunch: omelette with 2 whole eggs and two egg whites, peppers and tinned tomatoes.

Dinner: not sure but i fancy thai curry with veg instead of rice
