My Mum is exactly the same, can't stand her head going underwater. Ah well, there are loads of different exercises you can do and sounds like you're kicking ass at the gym. Really hope you're in for a fab loss this week hun xxx

Thanks Bev :), but not sure about the loss this week hun. I don't know if you feel this way, I know its only been a few days but since exercising I feel my body is more puffed out, I feel bigger and heavier :rolleyes:.

I do too! I think its just the fact we're pushing ourselves so hard with the exercise that we need to retain more water to rebuild our muscles. I was just thinking actually that I'm glad I'm doing my fortnightly WI or I'd be stressing out right about now!

I'm sure in the end all the exercise will pay off though. Look at how fab Gill is doing with all her exercise and good losses, there's no reason that can't be us too. Hope you're not stressing lady! xx

Tetris is getting into her exercise loads lately too, plus Charley goes to the gym a lot too I think. There are loads of us! :)

Try not to worry about WI, I think I'm going to have 2 rest days before my WI next Sunday, hopefully it'll help to ease the water retention, especially if I drink loads. I once went swimming the day before WI and I'd been 100% all week but stayed the same, really put me off exercise the day before WI! xx

I used to do the gym the day before wi but won't now. I'm scared. Funny how are brains change over time xx

Its a tricky one isn't it? In my head I know the exercise is good for my body, but I'd be gutted if the retained water meant I didn't get a loss! Think I'm just gonna go for an extra tough exercise session after WI to make up for it xxx

I tbink if you get into the routine of always doing it then it won't make a difference. When I used to do Cambridge, I weighed in on a sat. I used to go the gym on a fri morning then zumba on the night and it never used to bother me but I suppose with doin a vlcd I was pretty much guaranteed a loss anyway xx

Yep I agree RR, I used to do CD too and with vlcd's you know your gonna lose anyway. I think it does affect you when your eating normal meals.

I'm ok thanks Kathryn, gone back to normal food this week and have been hitting the gym but was just discussing with some of the others, I feel puffed out and big :rolleyes:. I should take measurements for inch losses but have always been lazy about that. Worried I might have a gain next week, feel heavier within myself. :(

Oh no to feeling heavier! :-( could it be something to do with using your muscles at the gym?? If your arms and legs are aching they will feel heavy when you try to move them... Just a thought! Definitely take your measurements... And if you do have a gain next week you'll know that it's nothing to do with your food, it's because you've been fab going to the gym.... It'll all equal out in the end.... Just keep thinking of the final result and how bloody good you'll look!! In my head you're a fluffy little bunny rabbit! :D

Awww thanks Kathryn, I would love to be a cute dinky wabbit :D. Yep I think its the exercise. Oh well will have to try at least and see what happens, I can always stop for a bit if its really bad. I think I'm going to have an early night now, will catch up with you tomorrow, take care hun :).
