Kay's journey to health and happiness

Hi Kay really good to see that you are back on plan today and all planned, I was wondering if you had tried ee in order to give you the kick start you need?

Hi Jen :), thanks hun, it does feel good to be back on plan. I've not tried EE, it sounds too good to be true to me that I'm allowed to each that much :D although I know people have lost on that plan and it is very flexible . Hope your having a lovely Sunday :) .

I thought that at first but honestly I have list all my weight on eewith the odd green day thrown in more when I realise i am not eating meat that day. Why don't you give it a go and see. Tom is still not well so lazy day on sofa. Hope you have had a nice day

Afternoon everyone :), came back from shopping, put everything away then had lunch then went for a walk in the park and now I'm back having a nosey on your diaries :p . I was very good at Asda and walked right past the Easter Egg aisle, that was tough . I've stocked up on loads of fruits and veggies. I've even bought some readymade stir fry mixes that are easy to whip up in the pan . Bought lots of different veggies for my soup, which I plan on having at least 5 days out of the 7.

I really want to hit my 2 mini goals by the end of March which are :-

2.5 lbs off for my 3.5 stone award and :)
3.5 lbs off for my half century sticker :D

Hope your all having a lovely Sunday, will pop over to catch up with your diaries now .

Afternoon Kay - marvellous to hear the new found enthusiasm you can do it girl. Small goals are good to aim for rather than only concentrating on the BIG amounts to lose. That coupled with the gym will get you there :D

Ive got some SW quiche left which will last me a couple of days for lunches at work(thats if hubby can leave it alone lol), will fill up with tons of salad stuff.

Gonna make a BNS and carrot soup too, then all I have to plan is evening meals. x

Thanks Jen its good to hear you've lost on EE, I know Sheila does it too, might give it a try, I know its quiet similar to green :p .

Afternoon Sheila :), thanks so much for the encouragement. Yep I think blow out week has actually helped me find my motivation back, may do it again sometime in the future :D . I'm loving your positivity too, your quiche looked amazing ! I saw it on your diary nom nom , don't blame your OH for polishing it off lol . It's great that you've got your meals planned for the week, I'm trying to do the same, I think it really helps us stay in control. Soups are always good to have, packed with healthiness and last most of the week. I've also bought these lovely Chinese stir frys from Asda which are quick to prepare on weekday evenings, looking forward to making them. Will pop over to your diary in a mo for a good old catch up :p.

Thanks Sheila I just went on their website too and saw the £11 one but think I might add a bit more money in and get a better brand one that's on offer, at least they're not £50 like I thought :p . I'd love to get an acti fry too but get scared when I hear people's stories about them blowing up after over heating  !

Hehe :D thanks Von I love sharing shopping hauls ! Wow your shopping list sounds very healthy, that will set you up nicely for next week . :) It's good you got some comfy pj's and slippers for yourself, didn't know Aldi had a beauty section that's really good to know .

My shopping haul at Asda was something like this (in summary, may have missed out a few things lol ) -

Chinese stir fry packs, v8 veg juice, low sodium stock cubes, oranges, bananas, apples, summer fruits, asdas jackets, brown rice, haddock fillets, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, celery, spring onions, kale, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, leeks, coriander, green peppers . :D

Looks like we'll both be able to make some yummy meals this week with our lot :p .

Looking good Kay!

Thanks Jen :), I must admit my first day back was tough, I'm used to eating more calories now, but I tried to keep myself distracted in the day so I don't have time to think about food so much lol. Hope you've had a good weekend.

Good evening :)
Very happy to see your back on plan today Kay, meals sound good. How's your day been? X

Evening Cookie :), thanks for sending the `kick ass fairy ' my way, she has already got my head in order for the following week :p. Went to Asda today and did my food shop, planned my meals for the week ahead to keep me on track. Might through in some red days for a change. Have started to go for walks in my local park, the weather has been really nice. I'm expecting a gain between 2-4 lbs on Tuesday, anymore than that and I will not be a happy bunny.

I loved your pics from Brett's birthday, your food looked lush, you even resisted the cake, well done on that. I'm sure your going to have a good loss on Thursday :) .
