I'm glad you saw it the same way as me. I have no idea what they have responded with as I have removed the link to the thread. Things like that make me so mad!!!

I just had a jacket potato for dinner with cheese and beans and I didn't use any butter! And..I turned down a coffee afterwards as knew the amount of cheese I had had would have been both Healthy A's rolled into one!

See CD has done some good? It has show me I can be controlled, just sadly not enough to stick to SS 100%. Onto another pint of water, feeling quite liberated today. Also, having a very productive, motivated day! Roll on WI tomorrow x
 
Hiya again! I just read the thread and I don't think they meant to be mean. I can see how it seems a bit like a click, but also I think things in print on the web can seem worse than they were meant. Sue, I hope you are feeling okay now. Seriously. I think it's just one of those things to chalk up to experience. Maybe even try joining back in with the thread. If you enjoyed it. Don't leave.

Anyway, back to this thread. Kez I do like reading this thread so don't you dare move it. SW are lucky to have you, but you know this forum is where you belong :D
 
Yeah in hind sight, maybe I was a bit quick to jump down their throats, but I don't regret saying what I did as I thought Sue deserved someone in her corner. I was jumping mind! lol.
 
Hia CornishKez, just wanted to wish you luck with SW. I am a bit like you and like big portions especially of pasta, I am sure you will be fine if you just keep a check on portion size. Have you got any tricks up your sleeve for realising when you are full? I eat far too quick so my brain does not register I am full until I am uncomfortable...so one of the things I am going to do when I go back to food is eat slowly putting my knife and fork down between each mouthful.

You seem determined to lose weight so I am sure you will.

I think my body knows when it's full, I just ignore it?! lol

Like today, I had a large jacket potato and half way through I was starting to feel full. In my head, I know I should have stopped there, but I carried on and ate the rest.

Sooo....I think what I might do is dish myself up a half portion, eat that. Give it chance to go down and then if I am still hungry go back for the rest. I need to monitor exactly what goes in my mouth and how much of it.

With the water, I always try to drink 2 litres a day, so will continue with that plan. I don't think I will be drinking more than that, but if I find I am hungry too much, will have to try upping the water and seeing if that helps with the hunger pangs.
 
Oh and I have first SW weigh in tonight. The lady who does my local one on a wednesday does one tonight as well, so Im jumping on the band wagon and going along tonight instead. Then I'll just do an 8 day week and switch to the local one next week.
 
Heehee, thats what I'm hoping! Sue - I guess we are just opposite sides of the same coin then? lol

Our diaries thread is so active! Think we should all give ourselves a pat on the back..lol

I went along to SW this evening and bought a 12 week countdown, which means I save £20 as well as have to go for at least 12 weeks!

Also bought a magazine and a cook book, I think I've got the whole collection now. Weighed in a couple lbs heavier than I would have liked, but then again I was wearing jeans and aslo, haven't been drinking much the last couple of days and today was on the water like a demon. So guess I might have been soaking it up!

Hope everyone has had a good day, I'm now off to bed. Getting up this morning was far too hard work. Nite x
 
bloody hell sue..... what an apt name for the team. what a load of bit**es!!!!

just read the posts and i found their tone is horrid. mind as i was reading i thought to myself... i've never seen them post anywhere else, they keep themselves to themselves and they're the ones that need to check in with other posts not you. dumb c*ws. ignorant children. just need to look at their pics and they're obviously very young anyway.
 
One of them has a diary on here, but isn't very active. Thanks for commenting on it, I was starting to worry that I was the cow for posting what I did. x
 
not at all kez. the rude way they just told sue to naff off was obnoxious! she was expressing needy feelings to her group, she was having a hard time and needed support and they just told her she shouldn't have off loaded until she knew them inside out. stupid!!! groups and teams are for support not bitc**ng!

i've never seen any of them provide any support to anyone on this forum in all the posts i've read. they must only post in the team. they're the ones that need to read people's diaries and get to grips with what is going on with the whole of the forum not just their little, and it is very little, thread. there are thousands of posts on this forum...... what do they know.

Hi nikki, actually it all seems to hae changed. Last time I went they had just started introduce the extra easy option, now they concentrate on that and not red and green days? You can still do red and green days, but they like you to do orange days (extra easy). Basically you fill your plate with 1/3 of food that would be free on a red or green day and 2/3 of food that is free on both days.

So, you could have a 1/3 of a plate of pasta and 2/3 of veg. Or 1/3 of meat and 2/3 of veg. Or a 1/3 of pasta and meat combined, as long as 2/3 are veg?!

It's going to take some getting used to me thinks!
