Kez's struggles and troubles! 17th June Restart!

Morning everyone, I was such a snappy cow last night! Poor Scott and the dogs. They just avoided me in the end... lol.

I am positive my rubbish loss was down to not drinking enough water and retention and as if to prove me right, this morning I woke up early hours with cramp in my calfs. Which is down to not enough fluids and a build up of acid in the muscles, right?

Am feeling great today though, for the first time I am noticing a difference in my shape. I had become very swollen at the front of my stomach, side on I looked like a beach ball! But this morning in the mirror, that has reduced dramatically. Front on and back on, I don't look any different, but side on I can definately see a change. Even if it is just my bloat going. My boobs finally stick out further than my belly again!

I got to this stage before with CD and this is where I gave up, but this time I'm feeling more determined to crack on with this. 2.5lbs more and I'll be quarter of the way to my goal.
 
Woo hoo well done for staying so positive, it's great when you start seeing changes in your shape. Youre right about water retention though, dehydration makes you crampy. Have a good day today xxx
 
Think I have drunken more water this morning than I have in the last 3 days put together...ooops! Feeling a bit headachey too, so really must keep on top of this water business.
 
Well done on drinking the water, keep it up. I'm struggling with my water today on 1litre down so far
 
i'm pants on the water front today. just feel miffed off and not on top form. lost my zing today. think not running and my hip plus hubby's 5am alarm and then ems 6am alarm then dude 6.30am alarm as really got to me. so tired.

i have had no water at all. :(

although i have had 3 or is it 4 cups of coffee and i'm drinking a tin of coke zero. total rubbish. i was a little hungry til i picked at the kids food as i was making it. eating their crusts. so rubbish at this diet stuff. i'll be the size of a mansion in a few weeks time if i continue. i think running keeps me in check as anything picked at doesn't really 'count' cause running cals take care of it. no wonder i'm not loosing as i can't stick to anything. bloody hip is still sore but not as bad. been taking volterol.

please give me some of your motivation. got my weigh in day tuesday. i think what did it was yesterday's toilet visits. there were many and vast and both ends lots of times yet i still show a gain on the scales this am.
 
Why do people say it'll flush the fat out? Does it ACTUALLY flush the fat out?
 
Well you know yourself that if it's all been coming out but you've still put on, so it can ONLY be fluid retention. You have told me this enough times. Don't be so hard on yourself! And as for being the size of a mansion, you weren't anywhere near it before you began, let alone now! You put most of the people on here to shame with the exercise and commitment you have. x
 
So many people have lost there zing at the moment...I think I will start a 100% CD thread for this week to motivate us all.

2litres of plain, old, boring water ~ 2 coffees and a tetra down the hatch. Not been for many pee's, so guess I'm sponging it up at the moment, will avoid the scales like the plague tonight! But I have had a movement (all be it a little one), after feeling quite uncomfortable for the last 24 hours. Also, headache is passing so all in all I htink the water is doing me good.

Hopefully, if I keep my intake up over the weekend the scales will show me a loss on Monday. Only 3lbs to get into the new stone, will be having a meal tomorrow night as out with the girls, so aiming for those 3lbs by next Thursdays weigh in.
 
Argh!!!! I've fought so hard this evening not to eat. I just want to eat, I'm not hungry, it's just I've got this thought in my head and when I do it takes over. It really does feel like an addiction. I have been pacing backwards and forwards all evening.

I went into the kitchen and I really wanted a chicken kiev, but there weren't any garlic ones left, only leek and bacon. Which I thought would be even worse, so missed. Then I put half of one of the peshwari naans that are in the freezer in the toaster. When it popped out I took 3 small bites and ate one of the raisans in it and then fed it to the dogs and have been sat on my hands ever since! I'm going mad, I'm sure!

Scales are saying 2.3 lbs up on last nights weigh in, I know I've drunk lots today so the only thing keeping me going is that tomorrow morning I'll have hopefully dropped back to the same as my WI yesterday. CDCs scales weigh a little bit lighter then mine, so if I am the same on mine, I know I'll be slightly lighter on hers.

Sorry I'm waffling...I'm going to go and try to read a book or something!
 
you are doing well. why not play some games oh here for fb. you know idle hands and all.

i've just been to see the new shrek movie in 3d. got some shrek glasses as i know ems will love them. was ok. first was was the best ever though. had salted popcorn, was desperate for nuts as i really wanted something salty. must have needed the salt, that or i'm just a greedy pig lol. :D
 
I'm sure you just needed the salt...lol! I agree Shrek 1 was the best ever.
 
well i can't get off the loo this morning. not great if i'm off to exercise :eek:
 
I'm feeling so rubbish, the scales are still showing the same as Thursdays wi. I'm drinking plenty of water and the constipation has cleared ip, normal toilet habits resumed. So what is going on? At this rate I'll be lucky to get another 1 lb off by Monday. That 'll be 2 lbs in week 2, I know week 2 I's slower, but really? That slow?
 
I don't want to do sw or we, I want to do cd, but I want it to be giving me brilliant results!

Sorry to hear you are feeling down.. this heat don't help and I do think that your losses are too early to be seeing at the moment. Its only really been 1 full day since WI hun.. Be patient, it'll come off and stay put on CD and give it a chance. You will see the results, I'm sure of it. Guzzle as much water as you can and you'll see, you can't not loose ;).. xxx
