So, food porn from me today. I don't usually take photos of my food, but this meal was EPIC! It deserved to be seen

Starter Thai fish cakes with mango salsa

Main course: chicken stuffed with mozerella & basil, with roasted veg & orzo pasta

Strawberries & marshmallows dipped in plain chocolate with squirts light cream - not sure it's the best photo tbh!

That all looks delicious, especially your Thai fishcakes. Can you point me to the recipe or are they ready made?

They were homemade :)

You need (serves 6 as a starter) 1.5 Syns a portion, or 10 Syns for the whole amount
500g salmon, chopped up
1 red chilli
2 cloves garlic
2 spring onions
Bunch coriander
Zest of 2 limes, juice of one
2 teaspoons fish sauce
50g plain flour (10 Syns)

Chuck everything in a blender, whizz up until it becomes a paste. Shape into 12 fish cake patties, by dusting your hands with flour. Fry using frylight to brown up then finish off in the Oven (200 degrees) for about 15 mins

For the salsa
1 mango, chopped up really small
Bunch coriander, chopped up
Bunch mint, chopped up
1 chilli, chopped really finely
1 tomato, chopped really finely
Juice of 1 lime

Mix all together & serve
 
Right, food plan for today

Breakfast: egg, ex lean bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, wm bread (heb) with a bit of butter (4 Syns)

Lunch: mugshot & a cheese (hea) salad,

Dinner: Carribean curried chicken, with sweet potatoes & carrots.
 
I'm slobbering over my ipad:D. Those Thai fishcakes sound delicious. I will be making them very soon. They'd be nice for a main meal with salad. Thanks x

Food last night looks fantastic, I wish we could share smells too as it looks like it smelt lovely if that names any sense whatsoever!

Monday again :(

Breakfast: Mango, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, mullerlight, fruit & fibre (HEB)

Lunch: Lentil & Veg Chilli (courgette, onion, peppers, mushrooms, lentils, chickpeas, tomatoes)

Dinner: Spaghetti bolognese (onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes), cheese (HEA)
 
Well syns yesterday were some of those M&S corn flake bites - too many to count frankly and I cna't find the syn value anyway.

Food plan for today.
Breakfast: Pineapple, Mango, strawberries, blueberries & blackberries with mullerlight & fruit & fibre (HEB)

Lunch: Spinach & Aubergine Dhal (spinach, aubergine, onions)

Diner: Carribean Chicken with rice (tomnatoes, onion, mushrooms, peppers)

Which leaves me my HEA for cups of tea.

Plus am going ot the gym tonight for 1st time in a few weeks. Still not totally over the cold I had but cannot put it off any longer!
 
I may have had 3 digestuve biscuits this afternoon. Dunno whats wrong with me at the moment - really struggling to not snack on rubbish between meals. Grrrrrr.

Think tomorrow i am going to have a big ommlette for breakfast & a jacket potato with beans & cheese & salad. Hopefully that will keep me full & out of the biscuit jar!

So frustrating!

If you didn't pay for them they're free, if you ate them standing up = free
 
And if you're ill, then they're medicinal, therefore definitely free.

I thought *everyone* knew that!
