Feeling really not well today, have spent most of the day in bed trying not to cough :( . But have been slightly productive in that I have planned my meals for the week. Will cook the main meals & my lunches tomorrow. Breakfast will be either omelette or fruit with cereal. Lunches will be veg soup, butternut squash soup, spinach & aubergine dhal, and lentil & veg chilli. Have all bar the lentil chilli in the freezer.

Also have a tray of 12 chicken breasts and 1.5lb of extra lean mince in the freezer. Just need to buy some veg & spices tomorrow.

Sunday : roast chicken, veg etc
Monday :mamas caribbean chicken curry
Tuesday : Mediterranean chicken
Wednesday: caribbean pepper pot beef (a sw variation on a Levi roots recipe) with jacket sweet potato
Thursday: chilli beef with rice
Friday: Fish pie (well it is Friday), made with my hea of philly light as the sauce
Saturday: Caribbean Chicken stew (from the new one pot book)

So, feeling slightly better today - am even considering leaving the house :)

Food plan :
Breakkie: 3 1 syn sausages, ex lean bacon, egg, mushtooms, tomatoes

Lunch: 4 ryvita, philly light (heb & hea) salad, ham

Dinner: roast chicken, roast potatoes & parsnips, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, gravy (2 syns)
 
Feeling marginally more like a human today. A massive batch cooking exercise completed yesterday so food is all done for the week as well.

Todays Food Plan

Breakfast: Pineapple, Strawberries, raspberries & blueberries with a mullerlight & 35g fruit & fibre (HEB)

Lunch: Butternut Squash Soup - seems like a pretty small portion though so have a mugshot with me just in case. A,so have some carrot stickjs, cucumber bits, cheery tomoatoes & chopped up pepper as well.

Dinner: Beef Chilli, with bubble & squeak made from the leftover veg from last nights dinner (carrot, broccoli, cabbage, parnsips & potatoes) with 42g reduced fat cheese (HEA)
 
Had 4 biscuits earlier so that's my Syns used for the day, though am def full from dinner so not too worried about it. Even turned down a kItkat just now :)

Will have some fruit later on if I do fancy something sweet, other wise that's me done for the day.

Am now about to have a off plan brekkie - am feeling really very rough & need some proper sausages, and bread, with butter. Plus Jimoftroy told me yesterday that food eaten when ill is free - fact!

It is so true and even better is that if you eat it from hubby's plate it is also free !!!

Thanks Sue - tbh - I'm not sure some of the sausages made it on to either plate- I just ate them from the pan - so they were definitely free cos no one saw me eat them!
 
Well my pepper beef was Lurvley - but spicy. Highly recommend it if you like spicy food.

Syns wise I had 3 bviscuits and some olives, was probably over as a result but still feeling a bit rough so not going to worry about it.

Food Plan for today
Breakfast: Pineapple, Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries with 35g all bran (HEB) & a mullerlight

Lunch: Mediterranean Chicken, (onions,. peppers, courgettes)

Dinner: Carribean Chicken Stew (peppers,mushrooms, onions, tomoatoes) with rice and carrots.

HEA: Milk in tea

3 biscuits
a battered sausage (wrong but so very right)
1/2 a bag of chips from the chippy.

Still, done with now.

Food today

Snack: Carrot sticks & Cheery Tomatoes

Lunch: Salmon with Salad and some Orzo pasta with roasted veg.

Dinner: HM Fish Pie (cod, haddock, salmon, prawns, spinach, onions, garlic, with a sauce made with philly light (HEA) topped with mashed potato (has 1 syn of light sunflower spread in it). With steam carrots.

Just popped in to say that I saw your photos on another post and both you and your hubby look great :). It was interesting to see the difference as I'm a similar weight and height.

Thank you hun. Its all that superfree we eat now - great for the skin! Its good to have someone who's about the same start weight as me and looking to get to a similar goal weight as well. Hopefully you can do it in a little bit shorter time than me - I have definitely taken the slow road!

Lunch: Leftover Shephards pie made with sweet potato mash, and carrots

Dinner: Mediterranean Chicken, roasted veg (courgette, peppers and aubergines) with rice.

Fibre Plus bar (HEB)

Weigh in tomorrow morning and I am not at all confident as I have over synned this week.

:) I nearly cried cos I have been waiting for that 3.5 st award for ages!!! I really wanted it, but it's been a not great week so did not expect to loose at all!

Food for today - I am flexi synning as we did not do valentines during the week. I am cooking!

Dinner tonight
Hm Thai salmon fish cakes (1.5 syns a portion) with a hm mango salsa
Chicken stuffed with mozzarella (hea), basil & garlic, wrapped in parma ham (2 Syns worth), With Orzo pasta & roasted vegetables
Strawberries dipped in chocolate (5 Syns for chocolate)
Wine : 1 bottle : 27 Syns

35.5 syns
