Kirsty's pregnancy and new Mummy diary- from 30 weeks onwards!

And to add to my miserable mood today- the scales are showing a 2lb gain  I know it's all my own fault but that makes it worse- I'm mad at myself :( I'm really going to try and stick to plan from now until WI on Thursday, hopefully I'll get away with a STS. Sticking to Success Express today, and will carry on with it, depending on what the scales say in the morning- if not, tomorrow will be a Green day... Success Express HEXA: 350ml skimmed milk HEXB 1: 27g Quaker multigrain oats HEXB 2: HiFi salted caramel B: A&B1, 1tsp Nutella (1.5 Syns), pineapple, banana L: savoury rice served with spinach. Thanks I've somehow managed a day on plan, despite being full of cold!!!
Little man is still full of cold too... Been really cuddly today <3

It's horrible isn't it :( Amelia's had a cold the last few days and I hate seeing her poorly :( Hope you both feel better really soon xx

Thanks
It's horrible, esp at Oliver's young age when there is literally nothing I can give him to help! X

Happy to report that Oliver is much better- still got a cold but only sneezing occasionally now whereas yesterday it was every hour or so.
He's had lots of sleep too, so that must be helping, plus lots of milk!
We've been making 6oz bottles so if he brings any up (which he was doing when he had a sneezing fit mid-feed) there's extra in there, to stop him getting grumpy and both feeds this morning he's taken the whole 6oz and not brought any up!
Am kinda hoping if he continues to take 6oz, he'll drop a feed.
He was having 6x 5oz bottles a day but now it could end up being 6x 6oz bottles!!
And I shall have words and ask him to drop the 3:30am feed and sleep through haha ;)
As for me? I'm full of cold and feel like **** :-/
Urgh!
But it's not going to stop me being on plan- I've managed 2 days on success express and I'm going for 2 more!
As it stands, my scales are saying a 1.5lbs gain, really hoping that'll go and I'll get away with a maintain. If I gain, it's my own fault!
Hoping tho, that it will be a small gain- I can live with a 1/2lb gain, considering the week I've had.
Got nothing in the way to stop me being on plan after Thursday- but that was true this week!!
Think it was the bad news of my friends hubby that floored me.
Am going out for a meal and catch up with my best friend on Friday evening :)
Looking forward to it as it'll be my first night out on my own without hubby or Oliver and I need it, I need a girly catch up :)
And the best part? Hubby has offered me a lift there and back so I can have a drink :D
I didn't even have to ask (tbh I wasn't that bothered so its a bonus), but it turns out he has an ulterior motive- it's 20 mins to the restaurant so 40mins twice means Oliver will sleep in his car seat yay!
He really struggles to settle in the evenings so I can see hubby's thinking :)
After this weekend, we've got something planned every weekend right up until the end of August
It'll make SW difficult to stick to as its mainly meals out and family parties!

So day 3 of Success Express:

Really proud of myself- I decided I fancied a Subway salad for lunch so ordered it to be delivered, but instead of ordering a sub as well and cookies and crisps, I ordered 2 salads and 3 bottles of water!!
I've just had a chicken salad with barbecue sauce and it was yummy, I have a ham salad with sweet onion dressing for tomorrow :)

Well done :) I still need to see if they deliver here but I do think it could be dangerous if they do. Can't see me sticking to just salads when I love their subs!

Hope you feel better soon xxx

There's no takeaway that delivers to me :( it sucks and it's not made me skinny either lol! Well done though some good will power xx

It was difficult not pressing the footlong sub button and not ordering cookies and crisps!
Thanks I still feel like crap but at least little man is getting better xx

Unfortunately I'm surrounded by takeaways, they pretty much all deliver to me as we live so central!
And they constantly put leaflets thru my door with tempting offers!

Awww how cute :) you look great too! My tummy is still massive and Bella is much older than Oliver x

Ooh and well done on the sub resistance ;) x

Thanks it took a lot of willpower to order 2 salads and no subs! And no cookies or crisps either!
If I was to go into the store, it'd be a different story cos it's all there in your face and the cookies are yummy and staring at you haha!!

Aww thanks- I still have a mummy tummy, but it's gone down a lot compared to when I was pregnant!
I was lucky that I was all front and he was a big baby so it went down nicely haha!!
I'm also having physio for separated tummy muscles (common if you have a big baby and bump is all front) and the exercises I do in between sessions no doubt helps with toning too.
Planning to get back into swimming when Oliver is 3 months old as I can take him too :)
I want my bikini body back by August 2015 as that's when we go on holiday to Kefalonia :) x

So I feel like rubbish- my nose is all blocked, my throat is dry and scratchy and I have a constant headache :-/
Still I managed another day on plan yesterday so that's 3 in a row!
And it's working as scales are now saying just 1/2lb on woop!
Hoping that'll go by tomorrow morning but even if it doesn't I'll be very happy with 1/2lb on!
Oliver is still sniffly but getting better.
He did have a sneezing/coughing fit just as he falling asleep after his 3am feed and therefore wouldn't go back to sleep until 5 :-/ and then was awake at 6 yawn!!
