Well I faced the scales at weigh in this morning and.. 5.5lbs ON!!!
Expected but still...
 
At least you faced it, that's a huge achievement. Well done xx

I've got 12.5lbs to go until my 2 stone award and 6 weigh in's until my birthday... Now that would be a great present! :)
 
Hello all

Had a busy few days... And I've not stuck to plan AT ALL!
You would have thought a big gain would have been the motivation I needed but then my monthly arrived and motivation went out of the window and chocolate fall into my mouth lol!!
Thursday went to my parents for dinner, Oliver was busy showing off his new skills and generally entertaining everyone :)
My dad was having a cuddle and then he disappeared with Oliver...
Came back into the lounge and Oliver was chewing on a £20 note!!!!
Dad said he gave it to him so he could go shopping bless :)
Managed to get it out of his mouth before it became un-useable and have put it in Oliver's clothing fund... We are popping to Morrisons on Monday as Mum has got 20% discount so will be buying Oliver some clothes from Nutmeg, will enjoy it even more now that I have the £20 from Dad :)
Yesterday didn't do much... Walked to the bank, then Tesco and just spent the rest of the day with my boy...
Today he's gone to 'work' with daddy so MIL and FIL can see him...
He's got a lot of new skills to show off- he can now roll from his back onto his tummy and lift his head up... He even tried to crawl!! He always does it on his right side and he hasn't quite mastered rolling from his tummy into his back just yet but he's working on it... He's trying to sit up and can lift his head off the floor but not any further just yet...
He has discovered his feet... He now has a swivel bath seat so he can sit up properly in it and although he does sometimes fall forwards, there is a rotating ball on the front and he usually aims for that so he can chomp on ot whilst I wash his back lol!!
Still teething but seems in less pain now... Def something coming through at the top as he had my finger in his mouth the other day and it hurt!!
He now grabs everything he can- toys, my hair, glasses, nose, ears, lol!!
He's also started grabbing the muslin cloth off my shoulder when I go to kiss him and then wanting to sleep with it :)
And on the sleeping front, he's now slept through the night the past 2 nights... And when I say sleeping through, I mean no wake ups for ANYTHING!!!
Last night he slept 8-7 and we didn't hear a peep out of him!!
He sleeps on his side with his face buried in his comforter and both mornings I've gone in and he's rolled onto his tummy and is laying now giggling :)
We figured out the reason he was waking up so much was cos he was cold...
We've had problems with the radiator is his room and 2 nights ago Paul fixed it... Coincidence??
Oliver sleeps in a long sleeved vest with a sleep suit over it and then in his 2.5 tog sleeping bag... The one he's currently in is a gorgeous WTP one, it's 6-12 months so lots of room for growth and it's so warm and cosy :)
On the food front, he's still having his banana porridge and I've now started to add fruit purée to it... His fave is apple and last night it was cold, as been in the fridge, and wow he loved it!
Had it mixed into his porridge and then was happy to eat it on its own and couldn't get enough of it.
He bangs the tray when he wants more and sort of screams lol.
He's going to be demanding as he gets older!!
Think the coldness of it was helping his sore gums so I'm going to make another batch of it today and give it to him straight from the fridge...

A few photos and then I'm off to take Rosie to the vet for her yearly check up and booster :) xx

And it's quite funny how he won't settle a minute before 8 and he wakes up on the dot of 7!!

Oh how I wish my oliver did this... Or anywhere near it.
How are your iron levels now? I've fallen into a chocolate cake and ice cream. Round friends so pretty annoyed I didn't say no or have a small slice. I had seconds!! Weigh in tomorrow and I had been good up to this weekend and now thanks to period and cake I feel bigger than ever!! X

3 nights in a row now, and he's fallen into a nice little routine- just hoping he keeps it up!
They are much better thanks- got to have my levels rechecked in December and go from there.
Ice cream has been my best friend this week!!
You'd think after such a big gain I'd be motivated to get back on plan esp as I feel fat but nope! I seem to be going the other way instead :-/

Hopefully all your good work up to today pays off tomorrow x
 
Another good night from Oliver- 8-8!!!
Was expecting to hear him at 7, his usual time, but he must have seen the weather outside (heavy rain) and decided to stay in bed lol!!
He was warm and cosy in his sleeping bag so you can't blame him for wanting a lay in!

I was much better with food yesterday- not great, but better, and my scales are showing a maintain so far so I'm happy with that...
Today I'm going to pop to baby group to get Oliver weighed... A bit reluctant to go in this awful weather but I have from 10-11:45 so I think I'll hang on for as long as I can lol!!

Off to my mum's to abuse her 20% discount in Morrisons today, which means buying Oliver lots of lovely clothes in Nutmeg yay!
Then back to hers for a spot of dinner too :)

And at 20 weeks old, Oliver weighs 17lbs 13oz :)

His weight is slowing down but that's understandable now he's rolling around all over the place :)
The good thing is he's still following the 75th centile line perfectly yay :) x

Oh yes we did :)
I used the £20 my dad gave me and I only had to put in £2 of my own money and I got: a pair of jeans, a sleeping bag, a fleece sleep suit, some bibs and vests!
Then found out they have a sale starting next week so guess where I'll be :p lol x

I've got my eye on a couple of things so mum is gonna look on Monday and buy them for Oliver if they go in the sale :)
She brought him an outfit yesterday and started his Xmas shopping lol!
She loves buying him toys so we're planning a trip to Toys R Us soon :) x

Little man is really suffering with his teeth again today and has been fighting his naps... He's just fallen asleep like this :) <3
