I'm going to have to dip out I'm afraid :cry:, finances are a bit tight at the mo, and I've got a Spa Day (booked ages ago) with some friends in October and I just can't stretch to do both.

I'm not doing very well at the mo, had to miss the Brum one too.

There's been nothing concrete arranged yet as we still need some people to say whether they're coming or not. So far, a few have booked into the holiday Inn at Albert Dock overnight.

I'm not sure of arrival times etc but we'll be meeting in the Pumphouse pub which is also at Albert Dock.

If everyone who can make it would like to let me know of arrival times etc then we'll be able to agree on a meeting time in the Pumphouse.

Sorry to be thick... but is it likely to be a daytime meet up on the Sat followed by a night out - that kind of thing.. that's what I meant... lol (I'm so tired I'm not being clear at all!)

Daytime meet for a drink and shopping or whatever you all want to do. The evening, I'm not sure, but I do know that Sharon and I are deffo going to see Kappa at the Cavern!

Try and keep me away!!! I haven't checked yet whether he's deffo playing at the Cavern pub that night, but I'd be amazed if he isn't as he has a residency there.

I've just checked his website and it just says he's playing there at 5.00 pm every Saturday with no mention of any alterations to that yet. Fingers crossed as he's well worth lusting over!

I too would like some details as I have checked and I was right about the date already commited to go to a black tie dinner at the local Golf Club AT 7.30 SO COULD ONLY MAKE THE AFTERNOON, never been there before and cant wait to have a good nosey! (dead posh long frock needed in a size 14 Yippeee!!!) anybody slimmed out of one please???

As soon as people let me know their arrival times I'll let you know the meet up time. If you'd like to let me know what time you could arrive at Albert Dock I could always meet you there. I'm going to try and make sure I get there just before everyone else.

There are so many people on here that I'd love to meet Irene, you included! It'll probably take me years to finally get to see everyone in person lol.

I'm still trying to decide what to do as I'd love to meet you Carol. Will make a decision when I get back from Scotland next Saturday. What is putting me off is the rail track repair work so a good part of my journey would have to be by bus supplied by the railway company.
