Very sorry to say that I definitely can't come... finances just won't allow... Hopefully by the time the next one comes around things may have changed in this household.. but until then I need to be sensible (for a change!). I'm still trying to decide what to do as I'd love to meet you Carol. Will make a decision when I get back from Scotland next Saturday. What is putting me off is the rail track repair work so a good part of my journey would have to be by bus supplied by the railway company.

I'm still up for this but a little tentatively. My darling hub has just come out of hospital after having a brain haemorrhage on the 11th - he is making a really good recovery - should be no after effects other than headaches for a few weeks and fatigue for a few months - sooo hopefully i will still be able to come!

We'll drive up to the Wirral as planned and he will stay with his grandparents as planned - the only fly in the ointment will be if he is not upto such a long journey but we'll work that out closer to the time!

Aww Hels, I hope your hubby is well enough to travel. Don't worry if you find you can't make it, his health is much more important and I'm sure there'll be other meets you can go to.

It's 13th October and everyone who can make the daytime is meeting up in The Pumphouse Pub in Albert Dock. Can you come?
