I think ur lovely Jen x we all moan in different ways, but i feel like i go on all the time lol

No plans for easter, dont really know wot ur sposed to do at easter apart from eat easter eggs lol
Mind u i know we have two short wks with the fri n mon off so thats a bonus! But no plans yet. Have u? X

So far this wk all im gonna do is tuesday i want aft off work to check out my mum in laws new care home she is moving to soon, we need to pick her room and put some stuff in it for her x

I must admit, I don't really "do" Easter. My grandma used to be quite religious and we'd go to church, then an Easter egg hunt, but that were years ago! I think this year, I'll do a roast and have a Creme Egg haha :)

It's nice you can get the room sorted and looking nice for her :) x
 
I am so glad to hear the hospital appointment didn't turn up anything too serious, and I hope the new tablets help with the pain - I know my IBS is REALLY affected by my hormonal things and cramps, so I don't imagine it's helping yours at all, either *crosses many things*.


And just to chime in and say that you're SUCH a postive person, and I admire you greatly for it.

Hi all
Happy tuesday!

I have a challenge on today, im confronting my boss for the first time ever about me being kept in the stupid sickness council procedure for no reason, its to manage ur sickness n capability, ive not bin off sick from work since last nov n time before that aug last yr n u sposed to have four trigger points in a year n i count only two so im gonna say i think its wrong n also its making me extra stressed having to worry about it!
Shes just nosy wanting to know details about my endo n pretending to b a dr n know stuff about it, its not causing me to stop work, i chuffing carry on in office with it, i wear heat pads n wraps n take drugs, no ones bothered, fine but dont anticpate me bein off, she cant do that!
Its like shes expecting me to b ill! Shes kept me in it for another three months until my next hosp check up! I wish id not mentioned it!
If she insists i stay in it then union rep is so coming in with me next time shes not getting away with walking all over me anymore!! Im trying to grow a pair n stand up for myself which i dont do cos shes not approachable!!!

PS.. Re the new tabs to stop your period.. Will you still get the side affects of the cycle but just not the bleed? As with depo-provera??
 
For the love of ......that is so typical, you get yourself all geared up, then she isn't even there. Maybe write out what you want to say, get it straight in your head and rehearse it so you feel more confident.

Really hope the tablets work well for you xxx
 
Ooooh your boss is some piece of work eh? What does she think she's doing having you on this sickness thingy when you haven't been off all that much. I don't know anything about that procedure (I dunno if we have it here?). My workplace isn't great at the best of times but I think they've been really supportive even though I've been off over a month now. Doesn't sound like your place is the same. Pure nosiness. Try and keep a cool head, don't be argumentative & just state your points and ask what is going to be done about it... X

Indeed loves its vile n i hate it all but i will endeavour to be brave n tell her wots for! Ive seen HR today n they agree with me! So thats reassured me somewhat x lol x

Cycle wise- i think thats wot will happen they didnt specify other symptoms just mentioned no bleed or maybe spotting.

Well, if HR agree and the union are willing to come in and help if she DOESN'T sort it out then it basically sounds like she doesn't have a leg to stand on and is, in fact, discriminating against you. Make a list, maybe, of all your points and insist that she either takes you off it immediately (she cannot anticipate you being off sick, that's ridiculous! She's not a doctor - and anyway, your doctor can't even predict for you right now!) or individually addresses all your points. I have such a disgust of bullying bosses, they just add to your stress for no good reason other than they need to feel self important!

Its the injection version of the pill.. I was on it (Well, I got it once and never had it topped up.. ) n I didn't get my period for a whole year. It was horrible.. Made me gain almost 2 stone in 3months (well, IT didn't but it increased my appetite and I ate enough to gain 2 stone in 3 months) Made my skin awful.. dry n itchy n I had a pizza face!! And coming up to when I would be due my period, although I wasn't bleeding I was an emotional WRECK!!!! So although I never had it topped up it still took 9 months for my period to come back and I've still not regulated yet since... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Do they inject it into ur stomach cos ive had that! Which was my treatment for endo years ago so i probably have x
Poor u love, it did not suit u did it darlin x :-o

It was injected into my back.... But am not sure... Maybe they can do it into yer stomach too...
Was horrible. Just not for me I s'spose :)
