Upndown yes RC has some good recipes and yes LJ the kebabs were good! I will have to have a look what recipes she has for inspiration.

So tonight my sister wanted take away, so I am getting.... Wait for it... 2 plain jacket potatoes delivered tee hee hee then I'll add my own beans on the side I bought some cottage cheese with pineapple and I have lots of lovely salad to go with it. I'm very hungry today... I think last nights alcohol was to blame lol

i had to have an afternoon snack of scrambled egg! Lol

oh well, I bought myself a tiny Lindt bunny... It's only 10g and only 2.7 syns hehe

well done on ordering baked potatoes! Shows u'v drawn a line under ur night out - that's what I'm aiming for.......more effort req'd I guess!

When I move back to Mum's I have a plan to grow herbs in the garden. She has already agreed to that. I like cooking with herbs but they are so expensive to buy fresh.
That reminds me, I haven't crossed today off on my chart yet. Lemme see. How many days now? 183. That is down from 212 when I first got back here.

Gosh those days seem to be going down quickly (to me at least).

I like gardening - not brill at it - but I enjoy pottering - I agree about herbs - they're so expensive to buy fresh - yet pennies for a packet of seeds esp from the Lidl/pound shops.

If you have a windowsill with reasonable light - when the overnight temp warms up wd u fancy trying a few pots - parsley takes a while to germinate but easy to grow on window sill and lasts in garden thro' frost/snow - oregano, rosemary & thyme overwinter in the garden, chives and mint are easy too.

Basil takes a while to germinate and likes a light watering early in the day (doesn't like wet feet at night!) but easy to care for in a largeish pot.
 
Hi, I went totally off track yesterday eve :( But am back on it today... of to make some veggies soup in a minute.

Loving all the yummy meals you guys are all having :)

Having a good weekend thank you, play center with some friends yesterday and then saw some friends this morning too. Not doing much this afternoon-lots of playing :)

I spoke 2 soon when I planned my day earlier - had brunch and lunch and still on the chomp - hoping writing this here will keep me on track!

Well done Jules for getting back on track. It can be so easy to go off the rails totally can't it. Enjoy your veggie soup :)

I had a nice big fruit salad and yogurt for lunch. Upndown I hope your right about the syns.. I guess only the scales will answer the question hehe fingers crossed.

well I think it's ok to have the munchies, I did yesterday. But as long as we just snack on super free then it will all be fine :)

Lol oh no! Well I thought about making tea.. But them it's a bit early! So I went for a choc pudding (5syns). Then I'll make tea at 5!
 
Yes that's a good deal! I like getting my lovefilm DVDs. I have been working my way through prison break box set :)
 
Just found this recipe that sounds easy and tasty!

Fish pie


Place cooked fish in an ovenproof dish. Combine very fat free fromage frais, crushed garlic, egg and dried herbs and cover the fish. Spoon mashed potato over the mixture and bake in the oven until golden.


Serve with carrots, cabbage and cauliflower.
