My friday-sunday was a pretty high-potato time
MrsPotatoHead.jpg
lol Still fancying chips...

My eating times have been somewhat ballsed up today - had breakfast at 11, toast at 1, 'lunch' at 6 and will be having some tea at 10pm... hmn! It's not more than I'd have on a regular day but feels odd having everything scrunched up at the end of the day but feel like I'm hungry... think some stuff I've read today is affecting my brain.

Mn, need to work out what to have tom'ow so I can be better prepared :(

Have just got a circulation booster machiney thing today - gets a bit tiring sitting with it for 25 minutes. Need it on the highest setting to really feel anything - my feets are dead inside

I did the first 1 mile 'walk' routine on the biggest loser power walk dvd today... it seems really simple but then it adds some extra exercises in when you least expect it so it does get your heart pumping! It's got a 'marathon' progress chart/plan thing so that you walk the equivalent of a marathon over 4 weeks so I'm gonna start that from today as part of my usual stuff. It's only 16minutes per mile walk though plus a cool down so I need to go do some wii fit now to make up at least 30 minutes to hit my cardio week challenge criteria :)

Will catch up with everyone elsewhere later on, if my tiny ab muscle doesn't throw a wobbly and leave me stuck on the floor like a tortoise after the jacknives!

*waves* x

Ive seen those circulations booster machines they look quite good i have a larger type version called a power plate which you stand on and it vibrates and tones you up
Now i've mentioned I have one I now feel guilty that it has been used as a clothes horse for the last few months ( oh the shame )
Dvd sounds good though will have to investigate that as long as its not to bouncy I should in theory be ok

My mum's got one of the power plate machines, I'd have a go but I think I'm probably too heavy right now. I've also got a bike/stepper machine I need to get under 18st to use... think I used it all of a month when I first got it, oops

I'll let you know how the dvd is as I go through it (it's a region 1 only though). It's got four 1 mile programs so I've only done the basic one today - no jumping or anything but it did have some fast knee lifts, bum kicks and some sprints. You also need a bit of room as you do some side stepping and moving forwards and backwards.

It's over three weeks you do the marathon miles, I'm supposed to do 7 this week, 8 in week 2 and 12 in week 3, it gives you sundays off - how nice of them :D

Giving up for the night as getting tired and still not done my calf stretches so gonna go get those done before going to bed.

Will post my food diary in t'morning :)

Exercise - Biggest loser power walk 1, school walk, 45mins wii fit, 20 mins calf stretches

I'm not sure about the tilapia... something about it's texture. Will give it another go before I write it off :)

Food for yesterday looked delicious. I've never tried that fish either.
And WOW, do you always do that much exercise?

Certainly didn't do that much last week lol

I'm on a 'cardio challenge' week, set myself a 30 mins a day minimum target but I'm not including my school walk as I do that anyway now (though it's still 2-2.5 miles so it does me good) :)

And I've only just got down to a weight light enough to use the wii balance board again (this saturday just gone!) so I think the novelty and NSV value is helping me stick to it for the moment :)

food looks fab as always. Makes my burger and chips look pretty basic :giggle:

never had that fish either and have to admit that until you said yesterday i'd never heard of it

Well done on the exercise. At the moment walking is all I do. I keep saying as the weight comes off i'll do more but me an exercise just dont seem to bond :giggle:

Food looks fab Lo as usual
I know what you mean about tilapia I think its one of those fish
that you learn to love its not an instant thing but it does have a good flavour

Basic is good too - I loved having chips with peas/beans over the weekend :)

Hm well my mind is pretty happy about the exercise. My body (particularly my puny ab muscle) isn't enjoying it though!

I'm in shock that wii fit seems to be causing more muscle fatigue than davina's dvds

Thanks Kally - do you have any recipes for Tilapia I could swipe off you? x

A nice hot bath always helps with the muscle aches as does throwing the Wii board under any availble piece of furniture and forgetting about it ;)
alas that is why i am referred to as lardarse hahaha..

I shall have a looksee in my recipe folder to see if i have any recipes Lo for said fish :D

omg i love tilapia! you can never get it up here its dead hard to find :( x

I was so tempted to hide the wii board today but I got on with it lol

Recipe would be appreciated thank'ee - I'll be trying to do the fish week challenge later in the month so it'll be handy to get a few recipes lined up. Shall be keeping a watchful eye on your diary :D

Are you warming up and cooling down properly on the Wii. A lot of the stuff I do on there don't have a specific warm up section so I think that's why I end up aching more when I use it. Oh listen to me talking about exercise like I've got a clue :8855:

I think it might have been the lack of cooldown yeah. I've been warming up just with doing the step plus and hoola hooping then doing yoga ones at the end but I don't think it was enough. I did 10 mins of yoga stretches with arm stretches from collective memory of dvds I have tonight so hoping I'll feel less stiff tom'ow.

Are you coming down with the exercise bug?:D

Hmn, thought it was one of those 'in' fish nowadays, seems to always be on the supermarket counters here... though I don't like visiting fish counters much hehe.

Need to explore where I live a bit more to see if there's any independant fishmongers/butchers - I've found delis and the vegan co-op but not seen any meat/fish places other than a nasty 4 trays of fatty crepe for a tenner type meat shop :(

mmph, been here for ages and I was mean't to go bed early tonight, not done my calf stretches :(

Will do two lots tomorrow included one set first thing - also have to post my food diary tom'ow too.

Made Sugar's BBQ pulled pork and it was lovely - got a big bowl of it left in the fridge so most of tomorrow's meals will be based around it, unless I keep nibbling bits of it lol
