LoChan's diary - hello!

Evening Lo

Don't be too disheartened a loss is a loss and every little 1/2lb adds to the overall picture at the end

Have you tried the prickly pear yet I had one the other week and found them rather weird wasn't sure if you were meant to swallow the black seedy things haha..

Morning lo!
Well done for the loss.

Remember in a years time it wont matter if you 2lbs or 0.5lbs this week. You will only remember much you have lost in total. You are doing soo well!

I am planning on making hot & sour soup today. So looking forward to it. I will be using a bib to eat though as i dont want burny boobs! Hahaha
Just need to find that gum thing in sainsburys!

Hope you have a lovely sunday! Xx

quick reply internet playing up !!! well done a loss is a loss and your are doing so well xx will catch up when have a better connection xx

as a lady in my class says all the time.. 1/2lb a week is still 2 stone in a year :) xxx

Err yes  I won't do it very often so don't get used to it :8855:

Okay, Tilly's helpful advice = the rarity of a Blue Moon, gotcha ;)

I might give it a go tom'ow in a fruit salad. I -think- you can eat the seeds... I'll be googling it to doublecheck though lol Don't want a cactus belly!

Thanks Addi, I think I'm fine with it now... just trying not to let it put me off doing muscle training type exercises as I'm scared they'll make things stand still again. They're good for me and I need to build up strength so I must do them!

Hope you enjoy the soup. Thankfully I haven't come up in blisters in the afflicted area * winces at the thought*

I got my xanthan gum from an online website if you can't find it in the supermarket: Xanthan Gum. Buy online, http://www.oneon.co.uk/

Aw, you and Jackie seem to be afflicted with the dodgy t'internet today, and it kept Lily away from us the other day too. Curse them!

Hope you're having a good day hun xx

I need to find something that weighs 2 stone so I can appreciate that amount - it's embarrassing to say it sounds too small in my brain given the amount I need to lose overall :sigh:

But I know your right :) I wonder if they sell those horrible model representations of a 1lb of fat on ebay... lol I'd sit it on top of the fridge as a reminder of what I can lose if I'm good or put back on if I'm naughty :D

Hi :) have just found your diary-as I'm regaining some form of normality this week I will aim To keep on top of diaries for inspiration x

Ooh hello hun nice to see you!

I'm glad you're feeling better now the official countdown of shifts has begun for the crappy job :) Are you doing alright on plan again too?

I'm having an impromtu trip to Anglesea for three nights on the 26th - last one before the caravan park closes up for winter :D Hope it's not peeing down lol

I'm back on track today after the off-plan day yesterday (bit too much sourdough bread but eh well!).

In a bit of a quandary over my sunday roast - did a pork loin but left the fat on for cooking, left it to drain on a wire rack then removed all the fat before eating.

I tried searching on minimins and there seems to be a difference of opinions/advice given by different people's consultants about whether removing fat after cooking would count as it being syn free or not... hmmn. I'm sure I've read in the mags a few times about cooking chicken/turkey with skin on then removing it after cooking and it being syn free - pork may be a different matter possibly. I weighed it out just in case but don't know what the syn value would be and not had a reply back on the syn forum :sigh:

M'ehwell, will work it out eventually.

Decided on another material incentive for weight loss - some mental shoes by TUK

very true:D

Hiya Lo
Sorry I am so behind what with visiting FIL and terrible internet all day....

YOu know sweetheart 1/2lb is a slab or lard or butter, just get one and keep in the fridge and each time you lose weight its easy to visualise it by looking at the slab of butter :D

Its a loss and I am sure you will have a better loss this week :D

Loving those boots, well cool, love the face on the front :D

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Personally i'd say as long as you didn't eat the fat I can't see it being any different from the advice on Chicken.... Being cooked with the fat on shouldn't make much difference

i love irregular choice shoes! :D

love the shoes :D
daughter is a shoe addict but her fav are called irregular choice, strange shoes
glad you feel better today.
i mentioned the massive fluctuations in my weight over the week to my GP and now am having lots of bloods taken tomorrow !!!

:eek: I hope everything is alright! :bighug:

I like fun things - got a bag that looks like an owl somewhere that's really colourful that's due a trip out again soon lol I'll take a picture when I dig it out :)

It'll go well with the shoes :D

No worries Jackie, know you've got a lot on atm :)

Not got any butter in 'cept tub kind but I know I'm better without that 1/2 on me. And just had a look that I've averaged just over 3lb per week over the 12 weeks I've been on plan so the bigger picture is looking rosy :)

Personally i'd say as long as you didn't eat the fat I can't see it being any different from the advice on Chicken.... Being cooked with the fat on shouldn't make much difference

Thanks Kally - it seems fair enough if it's been said in the sw magazine too doesn't it? Phew! I'm not gonna go eat extra synned food today just 'cause I can class it as free though, need to keep my sensible head on :)

i love irregular choice shoes! :D

It's nice to indulge my inner teenager - was a bit of a goth and couldn't afford to buy the funky shoes then, no access to online shopping either to be able to find size 9s

argh i know! i sometimes have to get nines but am lucky enough that mainly I can squish into 8's.. mainly my wide feet that makes it such a pain!

loving some of the choice on irregular choice atm.. had a browse after our posts.. i love their court shoes cause theyre not mega high :)

You've got me looking at their website now, another new brand to tempt me with lol

Doubt things would fit me though since it suggests things only go up to an 8.5 :sigh:

They'll have to wait until I've lost a fair bit and I can hope my feet shrink lol
