LoChan's diary - hello!

I can't help giggling at all these diary's going to bed with Trev ahahaha!!
Trev certainly gets around a bit don't he ?

that Liver looks fab
I could gobble that all up right now
as well as the rest of that food
its all looking FAB FAB FAB

I know, I'd feel dirty if I wasn't sharing him with good friends lol

that soup sounds lovely.. can i beg a recipe from you? it looks delish and i want a nice warming soup today!! :D xxx

It was lazy sunday soup :D I bought a bag of pre-chopped soup veg from tesco (it had leeks, carrots, celery and parsnip) and a pre-cooked half roast chicken.

Fried off an onion with frylight, garlic and fresh thyme until soft then added the veg and cooked for a few more mins.

Took all the meat off the chicken and discarded the skin and roughly chopped into small pieces. Added this into the pan along with 1ltr of chicken stock and two bay leaves, brought to the boil then put on a low simmer for half an hour or so.

I blitzed half of my soup in the blender 'cause I'm not keen on super chunky soup. Will definitely make it again it was lovely and the whole pan was gone by the end of the day - I got three BIG bowls out of it :)

love you Lo, it sounds lush - defo making that soon :D xxx

I smile everytime we mention going to bed with Trev :8855:

Trev didn't stop me eating junk today but to be fair to him it works 99.99% of the time so I can't really argue with that and today has been horrid.

I do sleep better most definately xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I love the sound of Lazy Sunday Soup sounds very much like Jewish Wedding Soup ( ex first hubby was Jewish lol ) also sometimes known as Jewish Penicillen (sp)

Mn, doctors appt in half an hour for the feets, pondering if I can ask about anxiety probs but have never met the doctor before (have only had 2 appts with nurses since registering with this practise) so it depends how they are I guess, might pull a face me asking about two separate issues in the same appt

Work was alright once I got there and settled down - I was a bit of a mess beforehand though with hardly any sleep, feeling sick, sweaty palms, heart thumping etc  Stupid brain. Be going in again tomorrow in theory to practise the new stuff I was 'trained' on in case I need help with it.

Mn will come back later to do my food diary and t'whatnot, 100% day yesterday though a gingerbread xmas biscuit was calling my name :)

:bighug: have you tried the revival remedy? better than rescue remedy and always seems to help me ? its available from crystal herbs online, they post quick and its about 6.50 for a spray one. I always prefer the spray to the drops as easier to use and carry around :D

Gradually the slimpods should help us with anxiety to a point so well worth following these through. After day 21 you listen to 'keep it going' which seems to include confidence etc so this is the one i've just started on so will keep you posted.

I fell asleep to trevor but was working very abruptly by the loud dance music on my ipod that follows on :( I did to learn to take stuff off my ipod as this keeps happening and scares the wotsit out of me :giggle: xxxxx

I shall go have a look over on crystal herbs now, thanks :)

Oof, you must get your iPod sorted out lol Don't know if there's any online guides but it should be fairly easy to sort things into playlists once you get the hang of it. I've got an iPod classic, dunno if it's different for other models if you've got a different one though?

Mn I didn't say anything at the docs as there were lots of reminders about them only discussing one thing per apt. Will consider it again if I keep having problems - see how I go with chillpodding and self-help books for now :) Doctor is referring me for physio and just advised when I have a bad flare up to take ibuprofens 3x a day for at least two days to help bring it down. Also mentioned they'd checked my cholesterol levels when I'd asked for a diabetes check early in the year and they were a little high so I've to keep up the healthy eating lark for that along with all the other reasons. Going to go look up cholesterol and things now 'cause I be ignorant

It was weird last night (with Trevor ;)) - did the chillpod one first and for the colour I picked green but when it said about making it move around you I ended up picturing myself floating on my back down a green river and going around in circles as I moved along with the current... I started thinking is this good or am I thinking I'll drown myself? lol The relaxing place was nicer than the first time I listened at least - went to countryside/a farm I used to visit in wales when I was small :)

Not sure if the chocolate one is working yet - went to tesco metro after the doctors and I've bought three 3-packs of Gu mini bites, all chocolatey ones lol But think it's 'cause I've enjoyed those petit fours I bought the other day so thinking I can just have 2 mini bites per day and mix up the flavours for a little treat - not worked out the syns yet but shouldn't be more than 5 per square max.

Dress sizes one, I seem to have fixed a picture of myself in my head to work towards. Wearing a green 3/4 sleeve silk shirt (dunno where it's come from as I've never owned one), nice black jeans and my green trainers that I have now. No glasses (strangely) and a bob cut, maybe size 12/14 (wouldn't know, never been there!) and I'm in a park... Not terribly glamourous but thought I'd record it here anyway lol

Morning Lo

how did you get on at the doctors petal ?
all good I hope

have a nice day and that pork chop looks flipping yummy :D

i don't understand the one appointment one problem rule :confused:

Our surgery has a one pt one appointment rule but thats all surely it makes sense to discuss everything at once, rather than take up another appointment.
I could understand if it was an emergency appointment but it wasn't it was a routine appointment :rolleyes::rolleyes:

My heels have just started acting up again probably due to the amount of walking i am now doing, so i have ordered some gel inserts from the t'internet to see if they help.

I also wouldn't worry to much about your cholestrol level cos you are already changing your lifestyle so should sort its self out. mine was slightly raised on the bloods i have just had done and my gp told me exactly that. She said i was too young to be considered as "at risk":D

have a lovely day xx

Hmn, overspent on syns again yesterday and probably will today too.

Work was alright in t'office but I was starving when I left - had to fight the urge to buy chips by saying 'baked beans on toast' to myself all the way home... didn't have baked beans in and the hexb bread had gone mouldy so ended up with big non hexby bread with peanut butter AND lurpak lighter  Oh well, possibly still better than chippy, who knows

Must sit myself down and give myself a talking to, sort myself out!

On a sort of plus side I've tried two packs of the gu bites - ate one last night, didn't like it so threw the other two away - decided didn't like it on the first bite but still finished it but at least I didn't finish the whole pack. Same thing happened with lunch *shrugs* they're chocolatey so maybe the slimpod is working discreetly... it doesn't work on white chocolate though :D:confused::rolleyes: (don't know what to think about that fact!). I had 2 mini cookies (6 syns) and a pack of M&S white choc and strawberry popcorn (the 6 syns one) last night.

Mn anywho just popped in to 'fess up and just incase anyone thought quietness was from feeling down again - I'm good just a bit weary from not enough sleep and the headstruggle with foods.

Got the new ross noble dvd and need to spend some quality time with t'OH so will be on here again tomorrow xxx

Morning Lo,
I love the fact you fessed up, I really believe that's a good sign that you will complete this journey, people who still hide their mishaps aren't being true to themselves and if they can't be true to themselves then they have no chance, I just see it as another step in the right direction.
Love the sound of your lazy sunday soup, just off to make another batch of the hot and sour soup yummy, I am so addicted especially since I still have this cough and cold, well that's my excuse and I am sticking to it lol
Somehow I just knew you'd find Ross Noble funny, see said we had the same sense of humour lol

Have a good day hunni :hug99: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Pah these things happen
and like Lily said at least you have admitted
your mishap and can move on from it

Sometimes I am so glad
I must be the only chocolate hating woman in the UK haha
