Well I did a test Friday and there was a line, barely there, like u could literally JUST see it. But I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I thought I'd leave it till I'm due on but I had the same dream (that I did a test and it was positive) 3 nights in a row so I did another and there was a line! Not dark dark but it's definitely there!

I haven't told Jamie yet, I'm nervous lol. He's at the pub ATM... Could do with your advice actually. Which one of these do u think I should send him? I know, I'm feeling exhausted as it is! Especially seeing as now I have to cut down on caffeine! Dunno what I'm going to do without my monster energy fix lol. Tomorrow will be my last 12hr shift, I hope! Lol. I'll just have to tell my MIL (manager) and explain, the other girls have been let off them whilst pregnant so she can't complain!

I'll let u know how he takes it in the morning :) xxx

She is the MIL from hell!!!

In a way I want to tell her, in a way I don't as I know straight away she will tell his sisters and pretend she didn't even if they mention it, and when his sister was pregnant she blurted it out in the local in front of at least 15people! I couldn't have that!

I may just come up with excuses not to do it or if worst comes to worst pretend I'm sick half way through the day lol xxx

Oh I'd love it lol. I gotta watch what I do though cos of being a carer and a cleaner I have to lift people and work with god knows what chemicals! I know I shouldn't worry but after our mc last year I just blamed it on anything and everything I done that could have possibly caused it. I think I might wait till at least 6weeks, tell our parents and tell them to keep it quiet and tell everyone else after the 12w scan xxx

How exciting hun xx tell him face 2 face, still early days and he might blurt it out in the pub! :eek: plus you'll want to c his face, you'll never forget it :) you could text it & say something along the lines of u want to c if ur phone's ok, been having problems sending picture messages, send him the 1st pic on here & watch his face :eek: xx

Hi ladies, I had the text ready to send for when he walked through the door so I could send it and he would get it in time for when he sat down... But no, he stood in the door so I text it and he walked straight out to the toilet. So I never got to see his face!

Then he came back and just looked at the tv, and I was like "WELLLL...." And he went in not acknowledging it until you say it, and he actually made me say it! Then he just smiled, hugged and kissed me.
All night he just kept staring at me and smiling!

We've decided to keep it to ourselves for now, he wants to tell his mum so I'm not put under any "unneccessary stress" but tbh if she knows it's gunna stress me out even more! But he reckons she can make life easier for me at work. But if I tell his mum I have to tell my mum, and dad. God dunno how that's gunna go lol. My nan and grandad will be over the moon! I really don't want to tell anyone cos the more people that know the quicker it gets out and if anything does happen I've got to go through the process of explaining it!

We're also going to not get too excited until we know everything's ok, I'm going to go drs this week or next week (whenever I get a minute) and ask for an early scan or if there's any possibly I can hear the heartbeat for peace of mind? Anyone know if they will?

Tbh, they won't give u an early scan hun, I know it's all v.nervewracking at the moment but it's natural x :eek: just enjoy this time when no one knows because once they do your life will b very different, everyone will want to talk abt the baby and nothing else :eek:
As far as telling ppl, I waited until I was 11-12 weeks, didn't even tell my mum! It was hard but Im quite superstitious & wanted to wait until I knew baby was ok x but everyone's different hun, just make sure it's a mutual decision to tell ur mil, it's ur body at the end of the day xx
So happy 4 u hun, enjoy the extra calories now too :eek: x L x

Oh damn. I may just book a private one then, they're £75 but it's worth it.

I'm cackling myself about getting fat! I just started to feel better about myself as we!! I made Jamie promise we're going to go to the gym at least twice a week! And I am going to speak to my dr about staying on ww or going onto sw again as I'd be happy with just maintaining now cos it's not the best of times to drop another half a stone!

I'm very very superstitious too. And after last time I just wanna make sure I don't do anything wrong xxx
